I really suck at descriptions, so I hope you can get a decent picture of Diana from this!

  • Strengths

  • Languages spoken

  • Appearance
Diana is quite pale in complexion, coming from a rather dreary country that hardly gets much sun, she has never really been able to pick up much of a tan. She has a few freckles dotted around her face, that tend to stand out when she has seen the sun. She has pale blue eyes, with almost jet black hair, which make her blue eyes pop much more. Her hair is very long, reaching the bottom of her back, which is normally styled in a loose wave, or up in a ponytail, depending on how busy she is that day. She has a small button nose, that upturns at the tip. Her lips are fairly full, with a prominent cupids bow. Her teeth are very straight, as she had braces on when she was a child and kept up with her retainer schedule. Her hands are small and dainty, and her father always called her piano fingers, as her fingers are long and slender. She stands at about 5'3", and has an hourglass shape. She tries to keep fit and healthy through going on long runs, but she does slip sometimes. Her style is pretty boring, as she focuses on her journalism, not having much time for fashion. She normally wears black mom jeans and a t shirt, but she will wear shorts or dresses in summer. She wears glasses when she is on her laptop writing, to help her focus and prevent her from getting tired and sore eyes, but normally she wears contacts when she is out. She doesn't have any tattoos, but she is covered in piercings, having most of her ears blinged out in silver jewellery, as well as a nose ring on her left nostril. She is normally a very smiley person with her friends, but when she is alone or focusing on her writing, she does have a resting bitch face. She has a thick English accent, what people would describe as posh English.
  • Personality
Diana is very quick witted, and is one of her talents. She is able to think of quick comebacks and is great at roasting people. To her friends, she is very kind and considerate, often putting other people's needs before her own. She can be very harsh on herself when it comes to her writing, and is her own worst critic. Any little comment from someone can really get her down, and she will dwell on it for several hours after, which is one of her downfalls. She doesn't have time for people who have too much ego, and for people who think they are better than everyone else. She struggles to see the good in people if they don't make a good first impression on her. Once you befriend Diana, she is a friend for life and very loyal. Diana is terrified of being alone, and not having a partner that can love her and be her supporter. She is one of those people that will do anything for her partner, and do all those things that she's not interested in, just to see them happy. Diana is determined to succeed in her career and she believes that nothing will stop her from achieving her dreams.

Full Name

Rowden Leigh Hart

Nicknames

Rowdy, R, TBA

Name Pronunciation

Row-den Lee Hahrt

Gender

Male

Pronouns

He/Him

Sexuality

Straight

Personality

Rowden Hart is the ultimate charming flirt, effortlessly playing the role of the confident, smooth-talking baseball star. He’s got that cocky swagger that makes him the center of attention, and he loves it. Flirting is second nature to him, whether he’s making sarcastic comments, throwing out compliments, or winking at someone just to see their reaction. He thrives on the thrill of attention, and he’s not shy about soaking it all in. His personality is as polished as his game, and he’s always ready with a quip or a grin to make people laugh—or blush.

When it comes to relationships, Rowden isn’t exactly looking for something deep or meaningful. He’s all about the chase, enjoying the thrill of the flirtation and the rush of landing a date. He’s used to women (and men) fawning over him, and while he enjoys the attention, he’s not particularly interested in sticking around long-term. He’s the type to ghost after a few dates or toss out a sweet line just to see if it works. Though he can be loyal to friends, when it comes to romance, Rowden’s far more about fun than commitment. The more spontaneous and exciting, the better.

Underneath all the playful teasing, though, there’s a hint of insecurity that keeps him from ever getting too attached. He’s more focused on being liked than being loved, constantly seeking validation from those around him. But as much as he’s all about the surface-level connections, Rowden still can’t help but get a little flustered when someone calls his bluff or refuses to fall for his usual lines. It’s rare, but when it happens, you’ll see a more vulnerable side to him—a side he’s not quite sure what to do with.

Appearance

Rowdan is 6 '1, with that perfect mix of tall enough to catch attention, but not so tall that he's intimidating. He's built lean and athletic, with long, sculpted limbs, honed from years of pitching. He has the kind of build that suggests agility and power, rather than bulk. He's not *overdone*, but more like that type that comes from intense conditioning and practice, built for endurance and precision.

Rowdy's face is all sharp angles softened by a sort of boyish charm that makes him either look perpetually exhausted or mischievous. His jawline is strong, and if you catch him at the end of the day, slightly stubbled just enough to look scruffy without being terribly unkempt. His cheekbones are high and aristocratic, and they curve down to a chin that's a little more round than he'd like. His skin is warm and tan thanks to the many hours spent outside in the sun.

His eyes are a warm, deep blue, sometimes leaning more towards an ocean-y blue, other times lighter, depending on his mood and the light. They're always bright with a cheerful, challenging glint, and when he locks eyes with someone, it's like he's reading them. Always looking and acting like he knows some big secret that you don't, and it's probably something that would make a sailor blush. His lashes are dark and long, framing his eyes in a rather effeminate way, which bothers him more than he's willing to admit.

His hair is honey brown, thick, and always unruly, like it's always a second away from being a mess, but somehow, normally looks fine. It's wavy, falling in a way that occasionally looks like he just woke up, especially right after a game, or if he has just rolled out of bed. When his hair is down, it's long enough that it curls around his ears, and tickles the back of his neck. If he actually took care of it, he could probably coax some curls out, but who has time for that?

His smile is the kind that starts slow, like he wants to savor the moment, but then it stretches into a grin that lights up his whole face. His teeth are straight and white, telling of years spent in braces and orthodontics. It's the kind of smile that makes you want to smile back: effortless, disarming even.

Rowden's hands are large, with fingers long and capable, the kind of hands that can grip at bat or a ball with precision, but have learned to handle delicate tasks if needed. There's a sense that he knows how to fix things, whether a car, a bat, a buddy's rough day. He has callouses from years of his sport, but his fingers are pretty nimble, and are always fidgeting with something, his cap, his phone, the hem of his shirt.

When it comes to dressing this young man, he's normally as casual as it can get. His go-to fit is anything branded with his team's logo, with something Under Armour to go beneath. He always has his hoodie sleeves pushed up, and sweatpants are nearly always his top pants choice. He's never without a cap to help tame his unruly hair. Before a game, as the team does, he dresses in a suit, but it's only ever for a few minutes before he walks into the stadium. After a game, for interviews, he's normally wearing something by one of the team's sponsors.

Voice & Accent

Rowden’s voice has that laid-back charm with a slight Upper Michigan accent that gives him a friendly vibe. His words are clear, with a soft lilting rhythm that almost sounds like it’s just on the edge of Canadian, especially when he drags out his vowels. When he’s relaxed, his speech takes on a slightly slower pace, giving him a warm, easygoing sound.

It was a warm summers day, and Diana was getting ready for her first day at university as a journalism student. She was so excited, but undoubtedly nervous and worried. She was worried nobody would like her, but more importantly, not like the work she would produce. Diana had researched the university before transferring here from England. It seemed like such a good opportunity for her, being one of the best universities for her chosen career path. She hoped and prayed that it would be everything she dreamed of. Diana sat at her vanity, putting on minimal makeup and styling her hair. She decided to put in more effort this time, with it being her first day she wanted to make a good impression on her teachers and fellow classmates. It was terrifying to think that she was entering a whole new country, on her own, with no friends or family to support her, but she knew she was doing the right thing for her career.

Diana stood up after completing her hair and makeup, pulling on some blue denim shorts and a little white tee, something that would keep her cool as it was a very hot day. She smoothed down her outfit before pulling on some black high top converse, before grabbing her backpack that was filled with her belongings and her precious laptop. Diana opened her front door and out she went, getting her phone out and setting the Google maps to her campus, which was approximately a 20 minute walk away from where she was now. It was 07:30, and her class started at 08:30, so she had more than enough time to stop by a cafe along the way to fuel her for the day ahead. As she started walking, she embraced her surroundings, placing her black headphones over her head and selecting her repeat playlist on Spotify. It was something that reminded her of home, and it was somewhat comforting to listen to some classic music. Diana glanced down at her phone, checking what cafes were nearby so she could grab a coffee and something small to eat. She found a quaint spot that was around half way, so she walked toward the cafe, her stomach rumbling slightly.

After 10 minutes of walking, Diana arrived at the cafe, the time was 07:40. She glanced at the queue and sighed softly. How was it this busy so early in the morning? She noticed it was filled with university students, chatting away and laughing with one another. Diana couldn't help but feel lonely, knowing she was battling this journey on her own. However, it was her first day, she couldn't expect to make friends right away. Diana joined the queue, much to her dismay, and scoured the menu for what she wanted to take away. She stood, clutching her backpack and awaiting her turn to order.

It had already been a long morning for Rowden, the kind of morning that made him question all his life choices—like living in a frat house. Some days, it was the best decision he'd ever made, and other days, it was a decision he regretted on every level. This was definitely one of those days.
His alarm went off at 4:30 AM, a harsh reminder that the night’s sleep had been far too short. A random group of the guys from the team had woken him up, hoping he’d be their personal trainer. They needed to work on their routines, they said. Rowden, still half asleep, had grumbled, rubbed his face, and reluctantly agreed. It didn’t help that he’d had the whole day planned out to do nothing but nap and maybe play some video games. MLB The Show 24 was calling his name. But as the guys talked about improving their strength and endurance, Rowden, in a rare moment of generosity, decided to indulge them. He sleepily trailed them across campus, where he spent the next two hours putting them through some basic drills, which he couldn’t even remember by the time he was done.
Now, it was mid-morning, and he was already exhausted, feeling the weight of both the physical activity and the lack of sleep. He tried not to focus too much on the fact that he hated the majority of his classes. He'd gotten into the university on a solid scholarship, and he had been proud of that accomplishment. Getting into an Ivy League school with a sports scholarship wasn’t something that happened every day, especially for someone like him. But, as much as he appreciated the opportunity, there were days when he felt like his classes were actively trying to bore him into submission.
Calculus, statistics, business management—he couldn't care less. Sure, the sports stuff was fascinating, but these non-sport courses were a whole different animal. Each lecture felt like a test of his endurance. He would often zone out, thinking about how much easier life would be if he just stuck to baseball and didn’t have to deal with these exhausting lectures on the finer points of economics or data analysis.
His schedule was just as miserable. His team practices took priority over everything else, meaning early morning classes at 7:00 AM and late-night ones that stretched past dinner. The time spent between team drills, individual workouts, and studying meant he was constantly battling fatigue and barely scraping by in the classroom. It wasn’t ideal, but hey, he was here to play baseball, and everything else was secondary.
After his earliest class—one that he had mostly slept through, thanks to the ridiculous early start to his day—Rowden met up with his best buddy, Dylan, and a few other guys. They decided to hit a random café for breakfast, the kind of place where the food didn’t matter much, but the vibe was everything. They burst through the door, loud and raucous, drawing curious glances from the few customers scattered inside.
Rowden immediately spotted a small booth in the corner, claiming it for their group. They were a spectacle of energy, tossing banter across the café, joking around as they picked out items off the menu—half of them were probably going to order the same thing. But no one really cared about the menu. They were here for the noise, the chaos, and the brief respite from their chaotic lives.
Dylan, always the loudest, leaned across the table to shout at Rowden from the opposite side, making sure everyone within a two-mile radius heard him. “Hey, Row! What’s it gonna be today? Pancakes or the classic bacon and eggs?”
“Uh, pancakes,” Rowden called back, already knowing it’d be the easiest option. His stomach wasn’t really in the mood for anything heavy, but the thought of syrup and sugar gave him just the kind of comfort he needed.
The guys on the other side of the table carried on their own debates. “I’m getting a double stack of French toast,” someone said, clearly desperate for a food coma after their own workout, “and extra bacon. Gotta get those gains.”
Rowden couldn’t help but grin at the endless flow of banter. He could feel the tension from earlier in the day start to dissipate. The team was always loud, always on edge, but they were his people. And honestly, it was better than sitting in a lecture room, pretending to care about something that felt like a lifetime away from the baseball diamond.
“Hey, Rowden, you ever think about what you’re gonna do after graduation?” Dylan asked, always the one to throw in a deep question just when Rowden was least prepared for it.
Rowden paused, grinning. “I’ll probably just play baseball until I can’t anymore. Not exactly sure what else I’d do.” He said it flippantly, but deep down, he knew the idea of life outside of sports was something he didn’t really want to think about.
The guys laughed, but there was an edge of truth in his words. It was always easier to joke about these things than face the reality that came with the end of his college career. If he didn't get drafted what was he? A bum stuck in the minor leagues.

Just as Diana was about to make her order, a loud and rambunctious group of university guys burst into the cafe, making Diana grimace a little in cringe. She decided not to look over at them, hearing their American accents was enough to cause pain to her English ears. She knew exactly what they would be like and what they would look like, typical college boys. Everything Diana tried to avoid in this day in age.
She cleared her throat before reaching the cafe counter to order. "Please could I get a latte and a croissant," she spoke softly, having to raise her voice due to the sudden increase in volume. The barista nodded, taking down her order and punching it in the till, "$5 please," they stated, and Diana quickly rummaged through her backpack to find her purse, taking out the exact change and handing it to the barista. She smiled softly and put her purse back in her backpack. She wasn't used to using dollars and American currency, she liked English money.
Diana wasn't used to people being so loud and not caring about if other people could hear their conversations. That was somethjng she'd struggle to get used to, as well as mildly hate. But, she tried to remain optimistic and positive. She was in a great country, and she was here for a reason. Diana quickly moved to the other end of the counter, waiting for her order to be called out. She couldn't wait to leave this place, and get the hell away from all these college boys.
Struggling to keep herself busy, Diana resorted to her phone, scrolling through Instagram and reading what people were up to. She spotted her best friend's post with her current boyfriend. Engaged?! She failed to mention that to her. Diana almost felt disappointed and saddened that her best friend didn't tell her about getting engaged. And she had to find out through an Instagram post. Diana sighed, scrolling past without liking or commenting, she wasn't in the mood to congratulate her. Diana was in a bitter mood this morning, and these college boys weren't helping. She was starting to get a little over stimulated. It was bustling with students, giggling and shouting across the room. And she felt so awkward and weird. This is not how a cafe would sound back home. It would be quiet and respectful, just how she liked it. But, Diana would have to get used to this. She needed to adjust to the American way of life. She was sure she would love it soon enough.

Whilst she was waiting for her order, an email pinged through from one of her professors, stating that she needed to bring an example piece to her class this morning. Luckily, Diana wrote for the local paper back home on small news, so she had plenty of examples to show her professors. Hopefully they liked what she wrote. 07:55. God, she's been here for 15 minutes already and still no further on. Diana was eager to get out of this extremely loud and stressful building, and back into the peaceful outdoors. She fiddled with her hair, before the barista called her name. "Diana!" She quickly shoved her phone in her pocket before approaching the counter, picking up her latte and croissant, "Thank you," she spoke before turning around and heading for the exit.
