Yep, I wish we as a world would stop and actually inform ourselves and stop spreading misinformation. The media is always dramatizing things and blowing everything way out of proportion and now we have innocent animals being slaughtered because of it

yes i agree with you. I also think that a lot of people (in europe where these dogs are foreign) i think a lot of the people that buy them, encourage and like their history as agressive dogs

That doesn't surprise me, even rotties I've seen. Not many, but there are some. Most of the negative myths surrounding pits and such are because of the dogs that were abused, neglected, or used in dog fights. Gives the entire breed a bad rep

Almost any dog can do a job if it's trained right. Labs, goldens, german shepards, even Pitties and malinois, I've personally met a Doberman Pincher who was a cardiac alert dog. Many breeds have been trained for those jobs but some of them just arent in the media

pitties where never used as nanny dogs, thats a common myth lol

It really is sad. I work in a vet hospital and I've had more huskies, Dalmatians, and chihuahuas try and take my face off than anything else, but I've never seen any legislation about them.

i thought service dogs had to be generally working breeds? like poodles, labs etc or maybe the criteria for blind dogs are much different?

Same, it's so unbelievably unfair and cruel. Like, it's hard for me to even fathom how someone could do that. Pitties used to be the "All American Dog" and were even used as nannys.

yes xl bullies are banned in the uk, france, norway and lots of countries here in europe

Auction Etiquette / Instructions

1) Just a reminder that if you make a bid/start an auction, then you need to follow through with them.

2) Do not make a bid unless you are willing and able to pay up, meaning withdrawing bids are not permitted.

3) You can not auction things you currently do not have.

4) Conversely, you cannot offer to buy things with currency / assets you do not have.

5) Autobuy means Buy It Now. Not a week from now. Not a month from now. Right now.

6) Auctioners: Please include an auction end date in your initial post. Remember, end dates MUST be an actual set date (example May 24th, or 12:00 PM game time on May 24th). Saying "this ends after X amount of time after last bid" isn't an acceptable or allowed end date for you to try to use in your auction.

7) If you auction a wolf and they are not purchased via autobuy, you must accept whatever the final bid is. No retractions allowed.

8) You must respect your own set end date. Do not accept bids posted after your auction has been set to end.

9) You cannot extend or end an auction within the final 24 hours of it ending.

10) Private Deals via PM are not allowed. All deals must be posted publically on the auction topic.

11) Members may not bid for other members.

12) Members may not make auctions for other members.

13) Both parties are allowed to advertise ART (and only art) collaborations, manipulations, drawings ect. No other "collaborations" can be advertised by both parties.

If we find that you are breaking these rules then you will be put in timeout or banned from the forums.

Thanks,
The Mod Team

Trading Etiquette

1) Please be polite to each other at all times.

2) Negotiating is ok, but please don't argue or start fights about it if a price isn't to your liking.

3) It's a seller's market. They have the right to request whatever price they wish, so please don't argue with them about it.

4) Please complete your transaction promptly, don't make the buyer/seller wait forever.

5) Sellers: Please post your prices upfront, so buyers know what to expect. The only exception will be if you are having an auction. If you don't know how to price your item/wolf, please look and see how much other items of the same type are selling for.

6) Don't beg for free stuff.

7) Just like in auctions, you may not sell what you do not have. Similarly, you may not promise to purchase with what you do not have.

Please feel free to message one of the moderators if you have any questions!

Possibly add that people should not edit their posts to make a higher bid? Make a new post. Especially if someone already bid after your post.

I'd like to remind everyone that retracting bids is not allowed. Lots of people have been doing this recently, and it is not allowed. If you bid, you must follow through with that bid unless you are outbid. Failure to do so will result in timeouts. Thank you.

A reminder here that a set end date means the following:

"End dates MUST be an actual set date (example May 24th, or 12:00 PM game time on May 24th). Saying 'this ends after X amount of time after last bid' isn't an acceptable or allowed end date for you to try to use in your auction."

Please make sure you are following the auction rules carefully!
