Aside from the large pair of wings that adorn his back, Farian has the ability to convert calories (i.e. food) into powers. Some powers require more calories than others.

Appearance:
Farian Adrina stands about six foot two inches with lean muscle to him. He's not too muscular but he has a good shape to him. He can't really get really ripped or gain too much weight--not with his ability.

This young man has soft brown hair and vibrant green eyes, his skin is fair and lightly tanned. His shirt is usually a dark gray color, tucked into either khaki-like pants or just tan trousers. He wears saddleback shoes because he likes the vibes. And he thinks it looks better than sweats or jeans or anything else. It's not too classy like full-on dress shoes but it's not tacky like converse or sneakers.

His wings--these dazzling wings are not naturally colored in any shape, way or form. The dark feathers are contrasted almost immediately by the vibrant teal-green color that edge his feathers and dot the darker feathers. Separating the two is a faded green color. He's got some tail feathers as well to tie off the whole look.

Personality:

Personality-wise, you've got a playboy wrapped in confidence. His dashing smile is edged like a sword and decorated in confidence and sheer effort. He knows what he is and he does his best to show it off. He's not particularly mean, honeslty, it's questionable if he has a mean bone in his body. Sarcastic? Oh, plenty of those. Mean? Ehh... questionable at best.

Farian understands basic needs and often shoves his own to the side to focus on others. It's not that he hates being the center of attention, it's just that in order to address his own needs... it requires him to ask some serious questions about himself that he is not ready to let others ask or answer.

Like how a lot of his inner turmoil comes from not feeling like he actually belongs, or questioning how others can actually like him. Romantic aspirations? Yeah right. Nobody, and he means that literally, could ever actually love him. A cute and quick crush? Sure. But anything more? Oh, heavens no. That's not something that happens with Farian. He knows he's obnoxious. It's to keep people at arms length.

But either way, Farian is rather adept at picking his way through the streets. He's quick on his feet, has ... quick thinking. Not smart thinking but it's quick. He can friendly his way into anything.

Abilities/Powers: Reese is able to predict and see the future. Most of the time she does this by touching the person but she also gets premonitions through dreams. She also has the ability to scramble a person's brain to confuse them, but she hasn't practiced it much so she tries not to do it.
Appearance: Reese has extremely pale skin. Her hair is white and long. It reaches just above her butt. Her eyes are a pale red color. She has a few freckles across her face and shoulders. She has a button nose and wide, plump lips. her eyes are downturned. More in RP

A faint ringing sound pulled Reese out of her sleep. She blinked away the remnants of her slumber as she tried to comprehend the hundreds of thoughts swirling around in her mind, all brought on by her most recent dream. The same dream she’d had for the past four months. In the dream, an unknown man seemed to be in danger. When she would try to help him she would only wake herself up. She had an intense feeling that this person needed to be warned of what was to come. Her ears were still ringing faintly as she dragged herself out of bed and into her bathroom to splash some water on her face.

Days later, she found herself on a bus headed to a random city- the city where the man in her dreams lived. As she watched the skyscrapers get larger and larger, she found herself nervous. Sure, people had come to her before wanting to know their fortune and future and such, but she had never actively sought anyone out. What if he didn't listen to her? Would she continue to have dreams about him, even if he ended up injured or dead?

She rubbed her palms on her legs to distract herself from her grim thoughts until it was time for her to get off. She wore a long black dress and some mary-janes, as well as white lacy gloves and a black lacy shawl that hung over her shoulders. She had found directions to where the man lived based on the background of her dreams. She was aware that he hadn't lived here for long, but it was concrete enough for her to get the information she needed.

After climbing three sets of stairs, Reese found herself face-to-face with the man’s apartment door. She hesitated for a moment before knocking. She stepped back a little and waited patiently, playing with a loose thread on her dress in an attempt to calm her nerves. The wind rustled her hair just a bit and she searched for the source, spotting an open window higher up on the wall behind her. She refocused on the door, praying that this unknown person would heed her warnings.

The crackle of the radio startled the young man awake, his eyes fluttering as he sat up with a stifled yawn. Most had a blaring alarm or used their phone to start their morning routine, but the crackle of the radio telling him what the weather was going to be like was his alarm. It was good enough and routine enough that he always woke up for the noise.

As he shuffled around his room, throwing on clothes that he had picked out the day before, Farian glanced toward the window of his apartment. The sky was clear and blue, light fluffy clouds dotting the distant horizon tinged with faint orange and lingering yellow from the early sunrise.

Farian stifled a yawn, rubbing his face as he made his way into the bathroom, combing through his hair to help achieve his signature look. It wouldn't stay like that for long but it was there while he had it. His eyes flicked over his reflection, adjusting the collar on his shirt, fixing his belt to be centered and then made his way back out.

As the noise of the radio shifted into a song, Farian's whistle echoed through the different rooms as he prepared a quick breakfast for himself. A bagel. A bagel. He had forgotten to grab anything else the day prior and figured he'd have time after work to stop by the grocery store and pick something else up.

His foot caught the pantry door, swinging it closed as he bounced with the music. His footsteps were light and loose as he skipped into his room, turned the radio off. While he had ... technically work later, it was anyone's guess as to whether or not he'd actually make it. Every so often, Farian found himself with wings and tail feathers. Good grief, he thought he was going to lose his mind.

He'd called out at least twice--once to his supervisor in a panic that he had the feathers and the wings. And that he had broken a plate just by looking at it.

The poor supervisor figured it was probably something in his water, or carbon monoxide. But the sensor hadn't gone off, the filtered water wasn't working.

He stepped back, finally after finishing the bagel and paused at a knock on the door.

His eyes flicked to the mirror, checking to see if he was looking normal before walking to the door. The young woman standing there, almost a head shorter, was not someone he recognized.

"... I think you might have the wrong door, miss," he said slowly.

Reese shook her head. "You are Fadrian Adrina, yes?" She prompted. Her voice was light and lilting, soft and quiet yet somehow you could hear each word she said as clear as crystals. She had a slight accent, yet it was not one that any person on earth would recognize. Before waiting for a response, she continued, "You can believe what I am going to say next or not- that is your choice. But I believe that you are in danger. Grave danger, danger that could lead to you being killed. I implore that you heed my warning," She explained. "You have been in my dreams every night for four months. I have no idea who you are, yet you are there. And every time it is the same. I would like for this to stop." She explained further.

"I know this may sound ridiculous, but I am not one to tell lies. I understand that you have abilities like me." She added, her tone a bit more cautious now. "I can help you understand them. I can open your mind to things you never even imagined were possible. You just have to trust that I have your best interests in mind." Reese wished it could have been done differently, as she suspected the man would not believe her. And then what? She'd just go home, hope he didn't die, and deal with the guilt if he did? She refused. It would drive her mad, having to relive this. Her clients were never unsatisfied.

"Farian," the young man corrected with a small sigh. Why she knew his name was a mystery that was not yet answered. It was immediately answered. He was in danger. She had abilities. But the woman could see the future in her dreams.

Normally, Farian would've laughed and said something along the lines of a cult or joining an MLM.

But the fact that he had the wings and the plate... it led him to be a bit more on the believing side of things.

Not to mention her ethereal look. Her white hair, the pale skin and red eyes? It was ghastly and ghostly. She looked... kind of freaky. But not tall enough to really seal the whole scary side of things.

"... alright, alright, come in," Farian relented, stepping back to let the woman in. "You can explain more inside."

He could feel the itching at his shoulders as well, the tell-tale sign of feathers that were ready to unfurl.

"My apologies. Sometimes my visions get details incorrect," She amended. When he invited her in, Reese obliged and walked into his apartment, glancing around. She walked elegantly and fluidly as if she were the wind itself.

She sat down at the dining room table and continued to look around, taking in all the details. Of course, she had seen everything in her visions, but it was always nice to confirm that they had not been wrong.

"You can let your wings free if they are uncomfortable. I do not mind," She told him suddenly, her gaze drifting toward the man she felt like she already knew well. She was aware that her quiet ways were often unsettling to others, but she didn't really care. All the bullying she endured as a child had only cemented her feelings for her powers- she saw them as a gift, as a way to help others.
