I hope I didn't sound too harsh. I get how hard it is to go against what you're expected to do and I'm not trying to bash you for it in any way. It just sucks that that is what is controlling you and stopping you from putting yourself and your needs first. I fully understand you, but no job is worth breaking yourself for, unwillingly of course. I hope Norway treats you better and you get over your burn out. It's nice to see you're empathetic but you gotta learn to choose your battles sometimes :>

Sorry for just jumping in but that doesn't really matter as they're not people who are important in your life. Whether they see you as lazy or not will not change your work experience, will not change who you are and will not change the fact that you're hard working, empathetic and trying your best. What others will do and how they'll see you in this situation is simply not important.

dude my coworkers refuse to do it. We work 2-6 hours of overtime DAILY and they refuse to stand up to our bosses?? I've asked them so many times to just leave together after our 8 hours are done, or to speak to management together but they just refuse to. No clue why, I'm so annoyed
And if I do it alone, as the newest hire and also the youngest person by far, I look like an idiot or a contrarian.
