"How? Those wild hooligans never let me sleep!' Mayhem was grouchy and tired.

" those are children for you, dear" River chuckled " let me handle it"

"Is there a way to just.. disown them?" Mayhem groaned.

"We dont disown our family, Mayhem" Rive said gravely " Why think of such thing?"

"Then why'd they leave me?" The dog asked.

" They wanted to play, Mayhem. You got them back. We just need to discipline them better.. and more strickly now that they are older" River said looking at their children playing with each other.

"Not them.. Abilene and Dako." Mayhem solemnly said.

" I have no answer to that my dear." River said with a whine

Mayhem placed a wary paw around the pups. She held them close, a deep sigh pushing away her signs of tears. "Let's just go."

River sighed " If that is what you want.. then alright" he nuzzled her before walking off
