This is a very loose RP. Which means it could go a variety of directions. All events can be figured out in the Discussion thread for future times. Currently, there will be a summer celebration that is in the making at the start of the RP. That is where it shall begin for now and drama can be discussed on it can begin.

Let's start with a feeling and an explanation.

~~~
What would you do if the one person that you swore was your mate, truely wasn't? What if one night you woke up with your whole body filled with such an unbearable pain that you reach for your mate and find out that they are not beside you? Would you call out their name or would those feelings of doubt that you had been harboring for the last few months begin taking over?
Your pain won't last though, maybe only for a few minutes but within that time you feel the bond, that had been repeatedly told to you was unbreakable, break and you can no longer feel the presence of your mate.
Are they dead? Did you die? Why did the pain suddenly just stop? Why do you feel at peace?
All questions that have been quietly asked in the many tears of those that lost their mate to a "True Mate".
~~~

"True Mates" to many within the Drucian Pack are just a legend told by the elders to young shifters as a way to say that everyone has their "True Mate" out there waiting for them. No one really knows what happens when one meets their "True Mate". Many believe that they have found their mate when they find someone that they feel really connected to. A pseudo bond is created between the pair which helps the duo feel where and how each other are doing.

The "True Mate" bond has the ability to speak telepathically between mates to an extent. When it happens, it is like a light switch. The "True Mate" feels as though something has flipped and suddenly, they can feel and hear their mate no matter how far away they are. The bond is stronger and creates a specific mark on the pairs bodies to signify that a "True Mate" pairing has happened.

The pseudo bond is not weak by any chance, which is why when one is betrayed or the bond is broken by a "True Mate" bond, the person that is not doing the betraying or breaking of the bond will feel whole body pain anywhere from mild to unbearable. The level for the pain is determined by how strong the pseudo bond is between the mated pair.

If a "True Mate" pair were to betray or break the bond, it could cause possible death to the innocent party as it would feel as though their heart is being ripped out due to the strength of finding one's "True Mate."

~~~
Do you understand now? A "True Mate" could come from anywhere and everywhere. But when it does happen, how will the pack react? How would the "True Mate" change the shifters lives?
~~~

As said before, this is a very loose RP. Mainly, we are all just shifters about to go to a huge summer festival and the following drama comes in. Whether the "True Mate" pair shows itself or not will be up to you all when that time comes. For now, it's just getting to know your characters and expanding on the fun and excitement of the summer months.

Kane Haze | 26 | M | Head Hunter | M: Kaiser, Adam(ind), Tori(ind), Open
Kaiser | 24 | M | Hunter | M: Kane, Adam(ind), Open
The patter of rain on the deck was only what remained of the storm that they had gone through. They were only supposed to be gone for a day but a sudden storm left them stranded for three. Thankfully, he always made sure that there was extra supplies onboard for such incidents. The male stood tall at the head of his vessel, looking ahead as they neared the shore. Land. He loved land, but he also loved the water and the ocean. However, Kane had been on this ship too long with the same crew. Well, more like the same human crew. He could tolerate humans but sometimes, they got just downright annoying.

Kane would say though, he did have a pretty good crew. They all got along pretty well, which half of that was thanks to the playful hunter on board. Kane wouldn't have it any other way. The younger male was always keeping the crew on their toes and cracking jokes. New ones, thank goodness or they all would have gotten tired of him a while ago. Kane scanned the deck from the corner of his eye, finding Kai at the wheel. The boat was already slowing down as they neared and most of the crew had the deck cleaned and the lines ready.
~

Kaiser was enjoying the view as he started slowing down the boat. He normally took to the wheel while Raze made sure everyone was doing their jobs. They had it down by now, so everything looked good. He was a bit tired of eating the same noodles for the last three days so the first thing that was on his mind after this was a good meal. If, of course, that was what Raze wanted to do. Sometimes Kai could figure out the male's expression and other times, he couldn't. Speaking of which, the male turned, pulling out his phone. While he couldn't hear in the helm, he could tell that Raze was communicating with the dock authorities. This would be around the time for that after all, and finally able to get signal.

Kai loved the boat, he loved water and fishing but even three days out on the ocean was too much at a time. They had done this hundreds of times, just not for this long. Kai started slowing down farther before spotting Kane's hand signal. Spotting the two fingers, Kai started to line up to dock two. The fenders went overboard on both sides as they neared. They would stop at a certain point where as the dock wouldn't do any damage to the ship when docking. Kaiser turned a few dials, starting the alignment process.
~

Kane finished his call and after signaling Kai, he went back to the front. Running a hand over the wolf figurehead, he looked over the dock and away from the ocean. "We're home Alpha," he murmured quietly to himself. As head hunter, his duties had been put mainly on hold as the storm stranded them. He knew the Summer Festival was coming up, and that there was probably a ton of papers waiting for him. Mainly, he wanted to get back to his alpha. Knowing Tori, she might be a bit nervous without the other high ranking individuals around.

At first, he had been a bit discomforted with the fact that an outside shifter was his alpha. He quickly got rid of that, knowing how happy it made his alpha finding her. And after getting to know her, he found that he rather liked her. Kane was brought out of his thoughts when his crewmember yelled to the dock, tossing his lines over. Kane made his way over to the side and stepped off onto the dock to help tie it down. Kai quickly joined him with another member. Once the ship was firmly docked, Kane walked back on board before starting to unpack. They might have been stranded but the storms brought good fish.

"Let's the get the equipment off first! It needs to be cleaned before replacing it on deck. You two take care of that. Have the docking crew help you." Kane took charge, wanting this done right but also ready to go home and take a nap. "You four, start unloading the fish! I want all the fish taken off the boat today!" He continued, meeting up with Kaiser to start helping. Thanks to the extra days on the trip, all of the fish had been sorted by species, size and weight. They had caught quite a bit of halibut as well as several varieties of rockfish, salmon and tuna.
~

Their haul was quite big which was no surprise to Kai. They had fished everyday of the storm. He loved the water plus, he didn't get rained on a lot when he went fishing anyway. Kai loved to dive under the surface, rounding up the fish and scaring them into the nets. Not too many at a time, but enough. And it was fun. Kai started helping to take the nets and containers off the ship, walking only a short distance to the truck. The truck had multiple rows of ice to place the fish on. Once they got back to the main warehouse, they would be cleaned and gutted before making their way to sales. Most of their sales went through the fish markets and several distribution channels.

Kai was about to start another load when Kane called him over. "Stay here until the processing crew arrives, then head home. We both need to clean up a bit and get some rest. I'm going to call Alpha and let her know we are okay. And keep an eye on those two, I keep getting odd looks from them." Kane nodded over to two crew members before Kai answered with a mock salute, "Yes Raze sir." He earned an eye roll at the nickname which Kai just grinned at. He then went over to oversee the crew while Kane moved off to the side.
~

Kane pulled out his phone, typing in the familiar number. Now that he finally had towers, he could call Tori. Hopefully she wasn't too stressed from the paperwork for the Festival coming up. Kane put the phone up to his ear as the rings started to come up. If he got voicemail, he was going to be worried. Although, with Kai watching the crew, he could easily slip over to the community and check on her.

Tori *Pending Last Name* | 24 | Female | Luna | Open

The quiet pattering of the rain against the window generated a calming background for the female as she sat behind the old wooden desk within the study of the main pack house. Tori had started the day bright and early at the hotel by helping with getting the breakfast bar open for the early risers. Normally she would have still been in the managers office at the hotel but with the Summer Festival date getting closer, she was spending more time at home working on getting things ready.

Her hair had been in curls but was now pulled back into a pony tail and the longer sleeves of the dark grey blouse she was wearing were rolled up exposing the artwork that decorated her arms. The tattoo on her neck was mostly covered by makeup as she wanted to have a cleaner, more professional appearance when at the hotel. It would be a different story if she wasn't the Luna.

Her eyes glanced to the wedding band on her finger that she began to twist absent-mindedly as her eyes moved back to the computer screen. There was still so much to do it seemed and not having the Alpha or some of the other higher members of the pack around was unnerving to her. She bit her lower lip that was still painted a deep crimson that almost matched her hair as she closed out of one window and leaned back closing her eyes.

A deep sigh left her lips as she ran her hands up her face and to her hair trying to release some of the tension that was building beneath the surface. Her ankles were crossed under the desk then uncrossed as she pushed the chair back ready to stand up and straighten the black skirt that she was wearing. Tori stepped from behind the desk, leaving her heels by the chair and moved over to the large bay windows looking out at the other members that were milling about the yard. Tori was an outsider to this group and even though this is her third year being married to the Alpha, sometimes she could feel the animosity from some that an outside shifter was picked.

Oh I wish he was here. It would make things a lot easier instead of trying to work both the hotel and manage getting everything ready if I could at least have him to lean on. She thought wrapping her arms around her frame feeling the emptiness of the house without her husband.

Sam Williams / 24 / Female/ Assistant Healer/ Open/
As the sky grew cloudy with small patterens of rain coming down a small women ran towards a library walking inside of it closing the door behind her. She moved the wet hair out of her face showing dim two different eyes. Sam look outside of the window and walked towards the back of the library, she had forgotten her phone once again in the past week.
"I swear I will lose my head one way or another" Sam huffed a little before moving her way back towards the door of the liabry grabbing her keys she locked the door right as she left. Sam looked up and sprinkles of water hit her glasses making them splotch up having her take them off and stuffing them into her old bag.
Sam moved towards the street walking along the street shops staying out of rain. Sam came upon the docks and walked towards it, she looked over the horizon seeing the perfect image for a picture.
Sam placed her bag on the ground, she digged through it finding an old camera. Sam stood up and placed the camera right at the place she thought was a good picture. She stole the image capturing it into her camera. She took it from her eye and looked at it from a better angle.
The picture was good enough to her licking of course it would've been better if the sun was out but at least it was decent. She saw a boat come into the harbor so she grabbed her bag and began to walk back to the Drucian Packs territory. The young women opened a gate walking into the neighborhood, she went into the main house walking towards her own room.
Sam opened the door to her room closing it behind her, she took her shoes off placing it next to the door. She laid on her bed pulling out her phone looking at it, there was nothing new to it so Sam placed it on the other side of her head closing her eyes. She didn't fall asleep but instead look at the photos on her wall from over the year.
She helped out healing people for a good pay she loved her job but it was tiring when she was working as a part-time Librarian. In the end it was what she chose to do and Sam was going to stick with it.

|Aardam Kroon|23|Male|Hunter|Kane, Kaiser|

Adam loved the sea, the salty breeze brushing through his brown hair and fringe, and the endless possibilities under the calm water. The sea hid it's true dark nature's with her soft breeze and gentle waves that rocked the boats back and fourth. Except for storms. The storms, they excited Aardam. The violent rocking, the boom of thunder and the flash of lighting getting reflected in the murky waters. It was all just so beautiful.

However, the storm was over. The blue sky smiled down at the fishing boat, they'd survived, that was what mattered. Tired of the bland noodles on board and the awful cooks, he couldn't wait to get home to cook something else to eat, although there was a good chance that it'd just be pasta. Aardam smiled at the crew around him, lightly laughing with them as the vessel began to slow. "Are we ready to touch grass boys?" He joked, knowing that he he wasn't excited to have his legs rocking for the next week.

Adam was quick on his feet to tie the boat down, doing it quickly but with great care. He didn't want to damage anything. One weak rope could lead to a disaster. He'd learned this the hard way. Standing up and wiping his hands on his Jean overalls, blue eyes tracked Kane as he worked. He wanted to help, but wasn't sure how he'd be of any use, after all, he had Kaiser. Aardam quickly buried himself in helping clean equipment and putting ropes away. At least they'd gotten a good haul. There was nothing worse for a fishing boat to be stuck out in a storm and come back empty handed.

Adam heard his last name being called. He turned around annoyed that he was getting bugged while packing up the ship, but more annoyed that their American accents just could not say his last name correctly. He should have been used to it, but by now the crew had found ways to manipulate it more than needed. Giving them a deathly glare as he turned back to his work. They all seemed like large muscular idiot's. Adam would place money that the crewmen other then his packmates shared a single brain cell. He signed and shook his head.

Watching Kaiser giving Kane a salute, his eyebrows furrowed. Was he supposed to do that to him as well? Surely he was the lead hunter, but slightly unnecessary? Kane's footsteps faded off the dock. Adam pulled his phone out of his back pocket. Not a single text. Oh well, he didn't like to be bothered anyway... but man that sucked. Apparently he was so distracted at how popular he was when a sharp burning in his hand caught his attention. "Fucck." He muttered to himself, shaking his hand and gripping it with his other hand. He really despised rope burn. This was the third time this month, and surely this one was to scar.

~

Once Aardam was done dancing he picked up the last net from where he'd dropped it. He threw it in the back of his truck, suspecting that Kane had run off. For a while, he'd believed that there was something between the Alpha and Lead Hunter, telling his hens about it as they clucked back at him. Now he couldn't care less about others relationships, he just was trying to get through life without burning his house down.

Approaching Kaiser, his watercolor eyes met Kai's. Adam's boots thanked against the old wood, it creaking under his weight. At first, the dock had terrified him, but now he didn't pay any attention to it. "Are we done here? I'd love to get home." He said, looking back at the humans, he wasn't sure what they were doing, but be was sure that he didn't want any part in it. He looked back out at the now calm sea, waiting for his next orders.

Aoife O'Cuirc | 24 | Female | Head Warrior | Tori, Kane(ind)
.
A rough sigh left her as she turned down the road for the pack's land, green eyes scanning the area outside the car windows. Aoife's patience had been run dry dealing with the amount of paperwork she'd been tasked with, glancing sideways at the folder in the passenger seat she shook her head. At least she was able to handle it without much trouble, provided the other head warriors from other packs weren't bombarding her.
.
Pulling up to the pack house she paused, glancing at the small hut off to the side briefly. She was thinking of speaking to the healer, but decided against it as the woman was likely just as busy as she was. Grabbing the folder she exited the car and made her way into the pack house, giving a brief nod to the warriors that stepped aside and saluted her. Quickly making her way through the halls to the alpha's office, where she paused with her hand raised.
.
She hesitated knowing that the Luna was here alone, and she hadn't had very many interactions with the woman alone. Yet she supposed Tori wasn't all that bad, she'd been a good leader and made the alpha happy having her around. Sighing roughly she knocked and opened the door, "pardon me" Aoife voiced as she entered. Dipping her head and tapping her chest in a brief salute, "my paperwork Luna" she held up the folder.
.
Walking further she stopped before the desk, holding the folder out to the woman. "You look tired, is everything alright?" Aoife questioned as she observed Tori, frowning in concern having seen the distant look she had. While she hadn't totally welcomed her, she hadn't exactly been unwelcoming. At least she hoped she hadn't been. Her brows furrowed as she glanced at the woman's wedding band, "he'll be home soon enough" Aoife voiced softly, trying to reassure Tori. Clearly the woman was feeling the strain without the alpha present, and she could understand after seeing the two of them working together.

Maeve O'Cleirigh | 23 | Female | Head Healer | Sam, Kane(ind)
.
The sunlight filtering through the curtains caused her to groan, pushing herself into a sitting position with a yawn. Maeve frowned glancing about the room, as much as she wanted to return to her bed she knew there was work to be done. Heaving herself to her feet with a huff she started her day, making a small on the go breakfast. She stopped by her desk with a frown searching through the multiple papers, grabing the files she was looking for and placing them back into their folder.
.
Quickly moving through her hut she placed the folder into her carry bag, exiting through her side door Maeve was greeting by an exited nicker. Chuckling she reached over and patted the ginger mare's nose, grabbing a scoop of grain and pouring it into the horse's feed bin. She sighed and shook her head at the mare before exiting the small barn, walking quickly to the pack house Maeve pulled her mess of brunette hair into a messy bun.
.
Giving a brief nod the to pack members that greeted or waved to her as she passed, she made her way through the halls. Turning down a short hallway she stopped at a familiar door, knocking a few time she sighed. "Sam, you up? We need to go through inventory and paperwork!" Maeve called through the door. Frowning briefly as she pulled out her phone, clicking a pinned contact and typed out a messege. Hopefully Kane wouldn't mind helping her move some boxes from the storage, they needed to go through the stores and soon. Best to do so before the festival was in full swing.

Glancing at the clock with a groan Mishka rolled over in her bed, frowning when her feet touched the cool tile. Her room was within the pack house as she didn't have any parents to leave a cabin for her. Sighing roughly she pushed herself to her feet, moving about her room she pulled on simple clothes before exiting her room. Walking through the quiet halls to the kitchen Mishka frowned as she grabbed an apron, sighing roughly she started helping prepare breakfast for the pack.
.
It wasn't hard work, but it was something that helped the pack. She sat quietly watching the pack members eat and go about their day, sighing faintly as she moved to go outside. Finding a quiet seat outside Mishka watched the butterflies within the garden, her mind wondering to the things she wished for but wouldn't dare speak about. Frowning she thought about finding a mate for herself, maybe perhaps during the festival she'd be able to connect with someone.

.
Sunlight reaching through the window caused him to groan and lift his head, smiling faintly at the sleeping form of his mate Aisha. Carefully he rose from the bed to get dressed, pausing before he left the room to gently kiss the top of the sleeping woman's head. Carefully closing the door Dylan made for the exit, sighing as he started up his bike and pulled away from the cabin he shared with his mate.
.
Shortly after he arrived in town, pulling into a parking spot before the small bar. Dylan frowned at the door but walked over to unlock and open the bar, he didn't plan to be open late tonight however. Flipping on the lights he swore to close before 8, he had plans with his mate that he wasn't risking for the bar. Not this time. Shaking his head as the first few customers started to trickle in, the people of this town were tolerant. But that didn't mean that all of them were tolerable to him.
.
His eyes narrowed as a group of men walked in, they were rowdy as usual. Their loud voices filling the bar as they entered, "what can I get ya boys today" he questioned, voice gruff in displeasure. They sneared at him but gave their orders regardless, fake ID's included making him frown. They did this every week and without fail tried to claim that they were old enough, sighing roughly he simply nodded and returned to the bar. He wouldn't give them actual alcohol but virgin versions of the drinks they ordered, sure he didn't tell them but he did write it down for future reference.
.
Glancing out the window he paused spotting a familiar silver car pass by, so the head warrior had returned finally. He smirked at the thought, it would be good to have her back, perhaps she'd be able to help make the Luna's job easier. At least in theory, he frowned wondering if she would actually be able to help. After all the woman would be busy with her own duties as the head warrior, not to mention any tasks she'd help the Luna with. He sighed roughly, he'd worry about that later for now he had work to do.
