Hey yall. I've been wanting to get back into art, but I can't find the motivation nor the means to start. I'd have to relearn all of what I know about wolf anatomy, since I never learned the proper way. Any tips?

I'm by no means an expert on anatomy, but I highly recommend just starting out by drawing something to completion.

Then, be your own worst critic and figure out what doesn't look right about it. I like to flip my canvas to the opposite side because sometimes it helps to see it backwards/from a different angle. I do this with sketching a lot.

If it helps, look at pictures of real dogs/wolves/etc and compare it to your drawing.

Next time you draw, improve on whatever you thought was wrong last time. I like to work on things one at a time so that way it's easier to focus and put all of your attention on that detail

Eventually, it'll start to come to a point where you're happy and it looks right, if that makes sense?
