the site was changed to 16+ because eve introduced the rule of allowing cussing. there could've been other reasons, but i distinctly remember that being the cause of it. the reason why the site may look like its made up of 13+ is because people do lie about their age and act very immature at times.

the site was originally 14+ before the rule change, i believe, but those who had joined before the rule change did not have to leave the site.

The age rating of WolfPlay was changed in 2018

I believe it coincided with EU data protection laws, but I can't quite remember.

The rule for cussing was introduced later
