Yeah, I suppose. I just hadn't heard of a dog experiencing it, just horses and humans.

@Reaper
I was aware of it in babies and horses, just not dogs.

Yeah, hated and loved that horse. Cried when he died a few years back. Many animals can colic, even humans but it's more common in babies. :/

It's always sad when an animal is in pain. I talked with someone who said she had a friend whose Great Dane colicked. Gonna be honest, I didn't know that was possible.

Your painted style is incredible, I feel like you shouldn't change all that much of it since that style is what you are mainly known for. Everything you do looks great though <3

I absolutely love your work! IÂ’ve seen a lot recently and keep thinking to myself, how can I do that?

What I have done, personally, is draw out a physical sketch by hand then make it digital with a few layers and different tools. IÂ’m still far from my goal, but thatÂ’s what has worked for me. I donÂ’t know if thatÂ’s what you do, but it has helped me.

(If you could give me art criticism, IÂ’d love to know how I could do better as well)

I actually don't sketch by hand- I prefer to keep my digital art completely digital as I enjoy being able to adjust the sketch with the tools of my program (specifically the undo!). I actually jump straight from sketch to color, and I don't do multiple layers of sketch. I just keep playing with that first layer until I get something that I like- it never turns out right if I draw over a layer unless I'm lining it.
If you'd like some tips, feel free to send me a PM and I'd be happy to help!

I quite love your art, but, giving constructive criticism here, the one and only thing that has bothered me and driven me crazy is the direction of the fur that you have on the wolf legs. That isn't the direction that fur goes and it's just always been something that bugs me. I did google a few wolf image (just to make sure I was correct on the direction of the fur ^^'), and I believe you should take a look at wolf leg references to help you and guide you with the direction and flow of the fur.

Yeah that's something that I've also noticed that bugs me, I'll definitely work on fixing that in the future. Thanks!

something i noticed is the eye placement. at least on the second piece. the eye would usually be a bit higher up, not so align with the nose.

not exact but yeah. besides that, i love your artwork! your legs are yes.

I agree that the eye may be a little low, but maybe not to that extent haha. In that specific piece, I think the angle of the head made me draw it lower than it should be?

But it used to be something I was very bad about. Case in point:

Thanks for your critique!
