Hello! This guide helps those understand what all of the aucton lingo means!
AB - Auto Buy/Absolute Bid - This means that if you pay the amount listed, you get the item up for auction no matter what, no one else can bid on it, because you payed enough for it to be auto bought by you. That item is taken out of the auction after it is ABed.
MI - Minimum Increase - You must bid at least this much more than the bid below you. You may bid higher than the MI.
SB - Starting Bid - No bid may be lower than this amount
CHB/HB/CB - Current High Bid/High Bid/Current Bid - How much the highest bid is right now. You must bid at least the value of the MI higher than the CHB.
Snipe Guard - There's a guide for this already! View it here.
Ladder Auction - This is just for art auctions. The host will say something like this:
If the final bid is between x and y, then you may get a z.
If the bid is between a and b, then you may get a c.
A filled out example is:
If the bid is between 5 and 10, then you may get a headshot.
If the bid is between 11 and 15, then you may get a headshot, or bust.
If the final bid can choose whether they get something in the range they fall into, or below.
If yall know any more, then feel free to comment and I'll add it here!
This guide used to be about all auction terms, but since that already existed, it is now about Ladder Auctions. I will leave the other terms there for convieniance.
