Ivaampal Adoption Center Welcome, welcome! Ivaampals are shy little critters, so they are very rare and very hard to find! Luckily, it has been discovered that they like certain items and can be lured out of hiding!
Ivaampals are small, the tallest ever recorded only being 3ft tall. They are in their own Class, toeing the line between mammals and reptiles. Ivaampals have cloven-hoofed hind feet, but their front legs and paws are similar to those of a cat. A flap of skin stretches between their front and hind legs, allowing them to glide short distances, similar to sugar gliders. They have thickly-scaled underbellies that protect them from the intense heat of the volcanoes they live near. They also have a thick scruff of fur on the back of their necks that stores excess water, allowing them to further maintain their body temperature. They also have large ears to help with cooling. Ivaampals are carnivores, mostly feeding on small rodents and birds. They possess venom that they use to paralyze their prey before they kill it. This venom is lethal to small rodents and birds, but it is not potent enough to be lethal to creatures larger than Ivaampals. It may cause some pain and irritation, but it isn’t lethal. They also have a very strong sense of smell.
Ivaampals are organized in matriarchal groups called slithers with one alpha female. Ivaampals can be any orientation and can use any pronouns. Alphas, however, are exclusively born female. If an alpha is born into a slither that already has an alpha, she may choose to strike out on her own and start her own slither, or she may choose to challenge the current alpha.

Other Events: I am VERY excited to announce that I will soon be introducing EXCLUSIVE Ivaampals to breed to! I will have an event for Valentine's Day with an exclusive female and exclusive male ivaampal! I'm not ready to reveal these designs yet, but they will each have an EXCLUSIVE trait that offspring will inherit. Stay tuned for more information! I'm hoping to share these Ivaampals in the next few weeks! Other notes: Since this is a closed species, I would like to be able to keep track of all owned ivaampals.
