Oh jeez, a comparison piece already ><
despite drawing very rarely, I can see some improvement. my anatomy, lighting, etc. is still very iffy, but that's the whole point of practicing, so I won't be too hard on myself. i really enjoy this piece!
image on the top was drawn today (2023) of a random character, whereas the one below was sometime in 2020, of an old OC, Ados. i cringe just looking at it LOL.

Taadaa, a doodle-turned-possible-YCH? Not sure yet, since I'm still beginner and don't want people to pay for art & regret it if it doesn't meet their standard.
I'll post the examples of colouring/extras in a second post so this one isn't too long (second post contains link to postimg gallery of the examples + finished comms . It's neater this way lol) |

Link to the YCH gallery: July 2023 YCHI really enjoyed the whole process, so I might make it a monthly/bi-monthly occurrence ^^ It's also a really fun way to improve upon my colouring & techniques, I definitely think there's improvement already :} |

I got a TH :D From this post onward, all art will be credited with 'zombiedog'. This is still me! Here's the first post with my new signature:  I like the gritty lineart with my current style, so I may keep this technique. This was sketched digitally, compared to my usual method of sketching traditionally and extracting the lines in the art program i use - i think it turned out nice^^ I need a name for this guy, too, because i really like his design. although i'm not the best at drawing kitties |
