I would personally suggest you concentrate on maxing your wolves out in battle. Keep your pack small so you always have enough food to feed all your explore wolves. You should explore often, try to not miss out many opportunities and.... maybe try to come online often so you get daily bonuses. They can give you some extra mushrooms or CP which can be pretty useful.
