The Silent Frontier In the remote frontier town of Stone Ridge, life had always been harsh but predictable. However, all communication with Stone Ridge has abruptly ceased, and supply lines have been cut off for weeks. A group of skilled rangers is dispatched to investigate the eerie silence.
Upon arrival, the rangers find Stone Ridge eerily deserted. Homes stand empty with doors ajar, personal belongings scattered as if their owners left in a hurry. There are clear signs of a violent attack—claw marks gouged into wooden walls, bloodstains on the ground, and tracks leading into the surrounding wilderness. The townspeople appear to have fled suddenly, trying to escape a brutal onslaught from unknown, beastial creatures.
Determined to uncover the truth and help any survivors, the rangers set off in pursuit of the fleeing townsfolk. They follow the trail through dense forests, over rocky hills, and across rushing rivers, piecing together the frantic escape. Along the way, they find occasional signs of the townspeople—discarded supplies, hastily constructed shelters, and desperate notes carved into trees warning of a relentless predator.
As the rangers delve deeper into the wilderness, they begin to sense they are not alone. The feeling of being watched becomes undeniable, and they notice subtle signs that they, too, are being tracked. The mysterious creatures that attacked Stone Ridge are now hunting the rangers.
The rangers must use all their survival skills and knowledge of the terrain to stay one step ahead of their pursuers. They set traps, use misdirection, and take turns keeping watch during the night. Each day brings new challenges as the rangers navigate the rugged landscape and try to avoid ambushes. Tensions rise as supplies dwindle and the predators grow bolder; their situation seeming bleaker and bleaker with each passing day.

The Roleplay Rules
Follow all of Eve's and WP's Rule
1. Be Active -- This should be pretty self-explanatory. Don't just join and then disappear. If you're inactive for a week or more without so much as a word, I will remove your character from the Rp.
2. The Rangers are all simple humans. If I open up survivors from the Town, they too will be simple humans.
3. This takes place in a more Western Time line when there were no modern amenities, cellphones, cars, etc.
4. For Now, 1 Character Per Person. I may Open it up to 2 later on. Reservations will last the typical 48 Hours. I will include a little bit of a form for you to make your Ranger's horse, because they're integral to the Rangers.
5. No one knows what it is that attacked, so your character can't suddenly know what they are, how to successfully fight them, etc.
6. No Perfect Character, Ninjas/Assassins [they're rangers in a more Wild West Setting], Godmodding, Powerplaying, etc.
7. If you want your character to have a pet, like a dog, I will allow it, if you can justify it being there and keeping up with the group, etc. Pets I will Allow [Aside from their Horse]: Dog, Bird of Prey, Mule or Donkey, Maybe a Cat.
8. Your characters will likely be injured in this rp, some may even be killed. Please don't join with the mindset that your character will be unscathed for the whole thing.
9. Semi-Literacy is my Minimum as Per Usual for this Rp.
