Roles
Starstruck Team
The Starstruck team is constructed of what was 8 members. Only six remain. The commander of the ship and one of the researcher were killed once the spacecraft crashed on Earth 2. Because most of the skills would be useless on Earth 2 considering their instruments do not work, they don't have much for supplies other than some basic materials and food, the group doesn't follow much of a hierarchy. They all try their best to work together. However, because there's the off chance that they could be found, they still use their roles as a way to wade through the new planet.
Note: You are more than welcome to make your characters affiliated with any of the deceased members. That said, please be considerate of what you want your own character to be to them. If it's a former fling or something that's fine, but try not to repeat something if it's been done. Please run it by me if you want your character to be a sibling or something to one of them.
Commander (1/1)
Commander of the ship - basically the leader. They would be experienced in piloting and have other training. Their word is law and shouldn't really be questioned. They have full authority over everyone in the ship and make most of the plans and decisions within the team.
-Alan Porter | Deceased | Male | 42 | NPC
Tall, short-cropped hair, fit and athletic. Alan was very much respected and liked among his peers. NASA admired him very much, being a decorated war vet before becoming commander of Starstruck. It appeared that he died on impact when they hit Earth 2, safety precautions never going off for him.
Pilots (0/2)
These two are very much trained in piloting the ship. They're former military pilots, also being trained in some combat as well. They understand how the ship works and how to properly utilize it. They were each trained in different techniques when it came to flying, and are both excellent at their jobs. However, some may blame them for the crashing of their ship.

Researcher (1/1)
This person is to collect any and all data they can. They probably have a background in science, especially Earth science. They've had other training as well, like minimal combat training and some survival training if needed. They understand how to identify new materials and are meant to collect as much information as possible.
-Sarah Boise | 26 | Deceased | Female | NPC
Sarah was rather reserved and slightly out of touch with those around her. Although fun to be around, she was always more invested in her work than she was people. Most would call her a joy to be around, others would call her weird. She was quiet but knew how to do her job well. Her body was never found, but it was assumed she tried to emergency eject and landed somewhere far away, probably killed by the native species.
Engineers (0/2)
These two people are tasked with ensuring that the ship is running properly. Basically, they're super smart mechanics. They have a knack for fixing things and are handy when it comes to anything technological as well. They would know how to use the technology provided for them. Like anyone else on the team, they have been given some basic training in combat and survivalism, so they're not entirely useless. It is possible for members to suspect that one, or even both of these people knew what was wrong with the ship and didn't do anything about it.

The Protection (0/1)
This person, more than likely a former soldier, is there to protect the group. They have the most combat and survivalist training, and know more about using what you can than you could even fathom. They're pretty respected and know their way around a number of weapons, but of course, most were lost in the crash. They also have some medical background as well.

Trainee (1/1)
This person was in the process of becoming the next researcher before, well, Sarah was killed. They have minimal training in jsut about everything but will learn from everyone. Most get annoyed with them because they're constantly asking questions and are not as aware as the others, but they try their best.

The Native Species
There is very little known about the species. They have been identified as the Luorig species - a human-like animal with more beastly tendencies. Most would compare them to apes. They have plenty of their own beliefs, believe in multiple gods, and are obviously very alien. Because a lot of Earth 2 is jungle, they have taken on the color of it. They are normally green, some a bit blue as well, and have very light, spotty markings to mimick the canopies of trees. They stand at roughly 6-10 feet tall depending on age and gender, and although they do possess five fingers and toes, they are quite wide, making their hands huge and making it easier for them to climb through the jungle. They reside in what they call sahupla, though humans simply call them packs or clans. This species is obviously very much in touch with their surroundings, so unlike humans, they basically do all of their living off the land. Their world is untouched, if touched at all, and everything within it had a meaning.
They do not speak English, therefore communication is limited.
Note: The species is not playable as of now, but if you're interested, I could work something out with you. The main reason is because they're super undeveloped and I want them to be kept a mystery to the humans thus to the writers as well, so everyone is uncovering the same thing. I'm also open to any ideas you may have.
