.`* The Time Has Come *`. ... 10 years after the murder of the alpha of Gracefield Pack, Ritsabuski, and the war of the 2 sons fighting for the throne, peace has finally come into the lands of Gracefield. Tala and Haru, the sons, were both cruel, vicious, and greedy. They cared for only the leadership and nothing else. They pitted the pack against eachother until war thundered across the valley. Both of the sons eventually killed eachother and the war died out, the two sides, Tala Pack and Haru Pack, rejoining eachother under a new alpha they chose together. The Alpha's grandson, Ruskivalia. Ruskivalia was the only kin of Ritsabuski left, seeing how his father and uncle had killed eachother, and neither had had other pups, nor had Ritsabuski had other pups or siblings. It was surprising how everyone accepted Ruskivalia. He was young for a alpha, only 3 years old, not old enough to have fought in the war much, and yet he was respected. Everybody believed that Ruskivalia would be just like Ritsabuski, kind and just. They were wrong. Ruskivalia was worse than Talu and Haru combined. He wasn't outwardly murderous like his father and uncle, but he was fierce, stubborn, and dangerously naive. He had no idea how to rule a pack, and refused to listen. His orders are dangerous and delusional. He commands wolves to hunt for prey only he can see until they faint. He exiles wolves for no real reason. He doesn't even listen to his beta or the elders, which are the wolves that an alpha is supposed to listen to when they need guidance. Wolves have started to go missing, whether murdered or running away while they can. Ruskivalia has promised death or worse to those whom he finds working against him or leaving. ELDERS ... third in commands. they are practically a council to the alpha, with the beta as the head. they guide and teach the pups of the pack, give advice, and failure to obey the elders result in small, simple punishments. unlike the beta and alpha, they eat at dusk with everybody else, a decision not liked when made by ruskivalia. ... Appearance Ruskivalia is a tall, looming wolf. He has a sharp muzzle and face, with angles and ridges that make him look scary. His fur is thick around his throat, bushing around his shoulders. His fur is pale gray/white, which grows darker around his neck, shoulders, and face, darkening to his rich black ears, but lightens all around his belly, chest, muzzle, flanks, and tail. His eyes are a blistering aqua, the color of the sea and sky, while his nose is dark, like a storm cloud. He has scars all along his right side, which go all the way to his flank, to his face. His right eye has a rippling scar over it, and his right ear is heavily torn. The flesh is thick and bubbly, torn and knotted, and curls and twists that leave him unable to grow fur in the area of the scars permanently. he is tall and thin, yet undeniably strong. He can drag a wolf his size across the ground with some help, and one half his size he can throw across a clearing. ... Personality Cold, sharp edged with a cruel edge. Rank: Normal Faction: He can be persuaded either way. Credits to Wincey (1st) and Tiefenschaerfe (2nd) on DA. Same user, same wolf. Chinook is a very handsome male. He stands at 34 inches and is in the middle of the weight spectrum for his height. His body is well-toned and his strength is evident in the way he moves. However, his appearance is deceptively kind. Intelligent, reddish-brown eyes are set in a well-proportioned face rimmed by soft, thick fur. His dense coat seems to groom itself, always looking sleek and touchable. This male is the opposite of touchable. Underneath his pelt, his skin is riddled with scars, both from hunts and from fights. Most of the latter were his victories. The vast majority. His most notable scar is a once-deep gash across his chest and lower throat, given to him by a wolf he loathed -- and killed. Chinook refuses to speak about this wolf, and few know the story. Chinook's coloring is warmer scale. His base is a terracotta of sorts with honey highlights and cream undertones. Patches of deeper brown and black congregate to frame his eyes, cover his forehead, sweep across his back and tail, and form a triangle at the nape of his neck. His undersides are a darker cream in color with hints of orange to it. The larger spots of fur around his temples and above his eyebrows turn into a black M shape, which extends along his neck and to his shoulders before more color enters the scene again. The bridge of his nose is a golden brown, as are the sides of his cheeks, and this melts into an off-white muzzle and cheekbones. Chinook always has a sort of passive look to him. Calm, relaxed, but ready. His languid movements can tense up at any time, his smooth tone can turn to jagged ice, his relaxed figure can stand tall and sturdy and domineering. This brute is death personified, and oh boy does death look hot. Personality: Chinook is not one to take ranking lightly. He bends to those above him and observes those at his own level with constant, ever-watching eyes. He is loyal to his alpha, his beta, and his pack. Those who prove traitorous get no respect from him. He is a quiet kind of scary; a soft whisper will freeze blood, a bark will break bones, a growled word will instill fear. A look could kill. Chinook holds respect in high regard; if a wolf, or dog, does not have his or another's, he looks down on them. He is not a kind creature; his drive is survival, and Mother Nature is not kind. The weak will die off, and he will be more than happy to help them along. Now, he is not an evil animal. He is altruistic towards his packmates, and he does not play around with things he should not be involved in. He follows the rules, crosses all his "t"s, dots his "i"s. Actually, he can be quite a charismatic individual. However, this is only in the case of others in his immediate close circle -- his pack. Chinook is a fighter; he has the scars to prove it, and he does not intend to succumb to another animal any time soon. He is fueled by adrenaline. It keeps him alert, keeps him on target. He is not one to get antsy by the feeling; rather, it has an eerily calming effect on him that seems to only enhance his prowess. Other: None
