The first one chosen, the designated leader, and, most often the eldest of the group.
The holder of Time is given their power a bit earlier than the others of the group, sometimes as long as a year before. This is because the time power is the hardest to control and develop so without that extra time, the holder is likely to destroy something before any of the others have an opportunity to help. The extra time also allows the holder of the power to better understand the purpose of the powers of the others, resulting in better leadership skills and ideas than they would have otherwise.
The time power consists of the ability to control and change time (such as freezing time, turning it back, or even moving it forward temporarily.), seeing visions of the future, seeing other's pasts, and speeding up or slow down the progress of other people or objects through time.
When first given power, timekeepers are often blessed with visions or alterations of people/object speed throughout time first. The last power they usually master is the ability to control or change time.
The time holder must have strong leadership qualities and is usually known to be intelligent and very logical as well as determined and insightful. Their tattoo is of an eye with a swirling pupil.

Space
Typically known as the pathfinder of the group, the space holder has the ability to teleport, widen and close spaces, breathe outside of earth's troposphere, and gift others to do the same (temporarily), alter gravity, and levitate. The first skill they are usually blessed with is levitation or the ability to alter gravity, and the final skill they usually learn is teleportation.
The space holder is typically very numerically skilled, very open-minded, and creative. Space holders also have a tendency to appear a bit aloof, often caught up in their own heads. The space holder is important to the group as they are often the ones that help guide the group, especially outside of Earth. Plus, they’re good mediators along with the Emotional holder.

Often known as the entertainer of the group, the sound holder holds the ability to suppress and increase sound, control how and where sound travels, ability to learn and pick up musical instruments and songs quickly (musical knowledge), and musical persuasion/captivating voice. The most common first powers for the sound holder to gain are suppression and increasing of sound or musical knowledge
The sound holder is usually extremely creative, outgoing, and overall a great entertainer. The sound holder is important to the group as they have a tendency to lighten the mood and keep a positive attitude even in hard times which can help boost morale.

Elemental control (fire, water, air, earth, metal, light, darkness)
The element holder doesn’t have a designated name or role within the group, as their personalities have been too inconsistent throughout the generations. Their role changes based on how they act. The element holder has the ability to manipulate, control, and create fire, air, water, earth, metal, light, and darkness. As they learn and master each of these powers, they will gain new powers within that one power. For example, once the element holder starts learning fire they will gain the ability to survive in extremely hot temperatures and create small, flammable explosions.
The elemental holder starts out with a primary element based on their personality, a primary element can only be one of what are known as the ‘original four,’ fire, air, water, and earth. An element holder that is chosen because of a calm and well-thought-out personality would be gifted the power of earth first, meaning that they could manipulate, control, and create small portions of land, communicate with animals, create plants out of thin air, and identify plants, animals, and other living things within a one-mile radius. They’d learn to communicate with animals first.
An elemental holder chosen based on a happy, laid-back, and more gentle personality would be given the power of air first. This would give them the ability to manipulate, control, and create air/wind, they’d be given wings and the ability to fly, the ability to control the weather, and the ability to alter the amount of air pressure in a certain area. They’d typically be given wings and the power of flight first.
An element holder chosen based on their passion and unwavering determination or strong will would be given the power of fire first. This would give them the ability to manipulate, control, and create fire, withstand severe heat, create small explosions, and radiation manipulation. They’d typically be given radiation manipulation or the ability to withstand severe heat first.
An element holder chosen based on their unpredictability, somewhat chaotic nature, or their curiosity would be given the power of water first. This would give them the ability to manipulate, control, and create water, breathe underwater, move underwater quickly and efficiently, communicate with underwater creatures, freeze water, unfreeze ice, and control water temperature. They’d typically gain the ability to breathe underwater first.
An element holder can only gain the abilities of light, darkness, and metal after they’ve already mastered all four ‘original four.’ Their tattoo is of the ‘original four’ elements in a circle pattern.

Physical
Often known as the protector of the eight, a physical holder has enhanced senses, enhanced speed, enhanced strength, shield, and knowledge of weapons. They often gain the shield power or knowledge of weapons first.
A physical holder is often chosen because of how motivated they are, their protective nature, and their willingness to defend others no matter the cost. The physical holder is extremely important to the group because they’re often the most driven and are always willing to defend the others, even against the rest of the group. They don’t typically choose sides based on who they like or dislike but what they think is right, still, their loyalty is never questioned, as a physical holder is almost always the most loyal of the group, only ever second to a truth holder.

Emotional/Healing
Often known as the heart of the group, the emotional holder, also known as the healing holder, has the ability to heal physical wounds (on others, not themselves), has a vast knowledge of both medicines and poisons, the ability to see and alter auras, and, though it’s often seen as more of a curse than a power, a healer is also very often and very easily influenced by the emotions of those around them. They typically gain the ability to heal physical wounds first.
An emotional holder is chosen because of a kind, understanding, and helpful nature. The emotional holder is arguably the most important member of the group, as they can save someone on the brink of death within a matter of minutes, they are also the main mediator of the group. Their kind and understanding nature allows them to see most sides in most situations, and the others trust them enough to listen to what they have to say.

Truth/Trust
Typically called the lawyer of the group, the truth or trust holder is given the ability to distinguish the truth from a lie, to quite literally speak the truth into existence (in other words, if they believe that something is the truth enough, they could make it the truth by saying it with enough belief.), binding words, and, though it is often seen as more of a curse than a power, much like the healers influenced emotions, the truth holder is unable to lie. They’d be given the ability to distinguish the truth from a lie first.
The truth holder is usually chosen because of a very intelligent, trustworthy, and maybe a little stuck-up personality. The trust holder is always the most believed person in the group. Even if they aren’t necessarily liked, they are always listened to because they cannot lie. Because of this, along with their internal ideas of liars and traitors, truth-holders are also always the most loyal of the group. Plus, they’re the best interrogators.

Manipulation/Judgement
Often labeled the snake or the Loki of the group, the judgment holder, sometimes also known as the manipulation holder, has the ability to mimic someone's voice and appearance perfectly, create illusions, influence people's ideas or thoughts, and identify people's reasoning behind action. They usually learn to create minor illusions first.
The judgment holder is chosen because of a more illusive or deceitful personality as well as their ability to read people. The judgment holder is by far the most disliked of the eight, often being blamed for problems and not trusted in the slightest, especially because they do what they want no matter what the others think. Still, the judgment holder plays an important role. They’re the best at understanding other sides of situations, despite what others may think, and without them, the others would have been caught by the enemy more than they have been.
