Appearance
-Hair color & Style: light golden blond hair sits upon Asa’s head. His hair is thick and silky, in the sunlight it looks like glowing golden waves. His hair is on the shorter side, only just going past his ears. His hair is a little longer on the top with a slight wave to it. If you were able to get close enough to touch it, it would be soft to the touch. Like the fur of a kitten.
Asa hates the feeling of dirty hair and washes it as soon as he thinks its starting to get greasy. Luckily for Asa his hair is easy in terms of up keep. But what can he say it just naturally looks good.
-Skintone: Asa has a ivory/pale skin tone with a neutral under tone. He doesn't have any freckles or moles on his body.
-Face & Features: At first glance Asa’s eyes are his most prominent and striking feature. His eyes are roundish-almond in shape and framed with long, dark blond lashes. His eyes are the color of blue sapphires with a darker blue ring that circles the edge of his irises along the whites of his eyes. Asa has a diamond shaped face softer features and a nice jawline. On the left side of his face under his eye, along his cheek bone, he has a small dark beauty mark. Over all he could be considered a “Pretty boy”
-Height & Build: Asa stands at a height of 5ft 9in (155cm) and weighs in around 150 pounds. He’s in good physical shape considering he doesn’t exercise/workout aside from walking. Though it could be attributed to the fact that he’s essentially undead, and his body doesn't change anymore. The muscle he has gained over the years, (before he became a vampire), is lean and when he flexes, defined. But other than that he’s pretty thin. He lacks wide shoulders and his body shape is pretty straight up and down, almost rectangular. Don't be fooled by his appearance, Asa is much stronger then he seems. He can throw a grown ass man across a room with ease.
-Other (scars, tattoos, etc.): Asa has no tattoo’s. He does how every have a few noticeable scars. The one most people see first is the thin, probably half an inch, scar that sits horizontally across the front of his throat. He gained this scar from a failed beheading attempt.
On his chest over his heart, Asa has a circular scar about the size of a half dollar coin. This scar is courtesy of a jilt lover who ran him through with a spear. Other scars hes gained through the years are less obvious and less than two inches long. All of his scars healed flat an smooth thanks to his vampirism, but they are lighter then his skin tone and have an almost milky opalescent hue to them.
Vampire appearance
For the most part Asa’s appearance stays the same, save for a few key things. He can control this change in appearance at will. First his ears come to a point, only growing slightly in length. The nails on his hands grow to about an inch in long and turn an obsidian black, coming to a deadly sharp point. His nails like this are stronger than steel and can shred through armor like butter. His front two top k-9 teeth grow slightly longer in length and come to a sharp point, a very typical vampire trait. Lastly his eyes turn from their beautiful sapphire blue, to a deep blood-ruby red. Truly making him look like one of the monsters that roam in the night.
Personality
Like two sides of a coin Asa has adopted two personalities. One is the normal human who blends in with society. Your regular guy who you wouldn’t think twice about. He’s polite to strangers and will give a smile to those he’s just passing by. Mostly keeping to himself but interacting with others just enough to not draw suspicion. He’s known by a few but doesn’t really have a reputation one way or the other. He doesn’t have what you would call ‘friends’, he has acquaintances if you could call them that.
On the other hand when he is not masquerading as a human, Asa is a bit arrogant. But when you can do the things he can do, who wouldn’t be a little arrogant. He’s self centered. He only really cares about himself, he doesn't have the emotional energy to care about other peoples problems and feelings. He’s got his own shit going on he has to deal with.
Asa is quite lazy, but when your’re immortal and have all the time in the world, you don't have to rush anymore. He will quite literal sleep for a week straight just because he can.
He’s lenient with certain things, but if you cross a line he becomes unforgiving and actually quite brutal when it comes to repercussions. When you’ve been alive as long as he has, things start to become warped.
He becomes a bit reckless when he’s bored. Takes risks he normally wouldn’t. In the moment he just thinks ‘who cares’, something that has become sort of a motto for him.
Asa is most comfortable in the night, lurking among the other monsters the fuel peoples nightmares. He likes the quite stillness, and also the fear that coats the air. Its exciting.
He considers everyone to be a liar like himself. He never takes anything someone says as fact. People are greedy and selfish and always will be, just to different extents. He’s see enough of it to know that people never really change. It all always comes full circle.
The only company he doesn't mind is that of animals. They don't lie, dont cheat, or plot. They act purely on instinct, which Asa respects.

Vampires are immortal beings who assened from the grasps of time. Their hearts stop and they no longer age from the time they are turned.

Ways to kill a vampire: Beheading, burning to ash. Fatal wounds caused by a weapon made of sunsteel. (Like stereotypical silver but just with a cooler name)

Vampire have heightened scenes, vision, hearing, smell, as well as increased speed strength and healing.

Vampires drink the blood of others to survive. The blood heals them and gives them their strength. If they dont drink blood they slowly loose strength and will eventually fall into a coma, this doesn’t kill them but leaves them unresponsive as if they were dead.

Compulsion: Vampires have the ability of compulsion they can influence people in their actions and decisions. Its not as strong at first, only suggestion at that point. One that you can escape from, but after a vampire drinks your blood you fall under complete control of their influence and can not escape until they release you.

Just being bitten by a vampire will not turn you into a vampire, its not that simple. Theres a whole process to turning someone into a vampire. Quite so that its just to much work to do so, hence the rarity of vampires.

Sunlight does not kill vampires, but it is annoying. When sunlight is on exposed skin it starts to itch.
