Name Aaron Age 23 Appearance Aaron is a tall, handsome guy, with lightly tanned skin and bright, permanently excited green eyes. He has shaggy blonde hair, and long eyelashes. He is about 5'9, and is slightly skinny but pretty muscular. He wears glasses to read, and usually keeps them in his pocket when he's not using them. He wears headphones a lot to be able to focus on what he's doing without thinking too fast. He usually wears jeans and a white hoodie, with a silver fox necklace around his neck. He wears tennis shoes or flip-flops most of the time, not really feeling comfortable in anything else. Shifted Forms His forms when he shifts are usually either a wolf or a dragon. As a wolf, he is a shaggy-furred black and gold striped animal, with white tear-specks under his eyes. He has a long tail and long, thick, soft fur. His eyes stay green, but they grow a bit darker, and he prefers to keep his fox necklace on even as a wolf or dragon. As a dragon, he is slightly smaller than the average dragon, only reaching the height of about ten feet. He is a silver and black dragon with beautiful opalescent scales that seem to glow if even a bit of light reaches them. Personality Aaron is a pretty funny guy, the kind of person you would always want to go hang out with at a party. He has a catching laugh, and his sparkling green eyes draw you in from a distance. He worries a lot, and will never try to hurt your feeling on purpose, ever. He is fiercely protective, and will stand up for his friends against anything. If all his friends jumped off a cliff, he would jump off too just to make sure they were okay at the bottom. He is pretty smart, and has a nervous habit of pushing up his glasses or fidgeting with his necklace or hair.

Name - Kayeni Maddox ~ Gender - Female ~ Shifter ~ Appearance - Kayeni is a proud woman that will always hold herself up straight. Her back will not slouch and her concentration will rarely waver. Deep hazel eyes set with high cheekbones, alongside a mane of dark brown hair, set her face to be as if in stone - barely wavering, even though there may be an internal war inside her. A cool, calm, collected demeanour radiates from her appearance, despite being slightly shorter than the average woman. As a wolf, Kayeni's long dark brown hair translates into a long chocolate coat, with black socks. Her muzzle has a demure set to it, and transitions from her chocolate-coloured coat to hazel head-covering, finally reaching a white tip at her muzzle. A slim white streak dashes underneath her underbelly - again, even in this form she is slightly smaller than her husband, but is willing to put up an even greater fight. ~ Strengths - Kayeni is a passionate, proud person, and excels in people-dealing - diplomacy, requesting, conflict management, teamwork, you name it. Maybe she won't always succeed, but she'll give it her best shot. She is able to identify other people (or wolves) exceptionally well as a result - her facial recognition skills outpass many others by a long way. Even having only seen someone once, she will be able to recognise them. She also has a rather bright mind, instituting creativeness that some may see through ingenious (if not slightly unorthodox) problem-solving of various topics. This is a quiet strength she holds that gives her a slight edge over her opponenets - thinking "outside of the outside of the box", as she would phrase it. Her mental wellbeing, provided she knows that everyone is alright, is also strong. Having a high sense of empathy and understanding allows her to concentrate on a topic for a large amount of time, allowing her trademark concentration and dedication to make a strong appearance in her work. ~ Weaknesses - Although Kayeni is passionate, and is great a dealing with people and things, she sometimes lacks the strength to carry out extremely harsh judgements, and is unable to run at high speeds for too long - in both forms. She isn't weak per se, but it's just something she is unable to achieve. Hence, physically she is slightly on the lower side. She does make up for this in terms of her strengths, but it is something that (at times) can be unavoidable. At points where there are too many things to deal with, on the very odd occassion she also breaks. While those unfamiliar with her won't realise anything wrong (only seeing Kayeni being Kayeni), those extremely close to her will realise when an internal meltdown is approaching, and take steps to avoid it. She also has a hard time dealing with losing those who she associates with closely. She can't bear the thought of having to continue life without someone who she is attached to - she can, and if the situation required it, would, but she would have a significantly harder time over it. ~ Personality - Complementing her strengths, Kayeni is a rather strong people-person. She is decently empathetic, and will always try to coddle (in some slight form) the other members of the family. To everyone else, Kayeni appears to be (almost violently) passionate about what she does, and almost never gets flustered or "lost" when dealing with them. She emenates a calm demeanour, with underlying flames of dedication burning beneath it. She holds strong opinions of everyone around her, and everything that affects her. Sometimes bothered with trivial matters (for example - trying to understand why there is a branch on the floor when there is no tree within a hundred meters), however she is able to discard said matters from her mind should something more important come up. These currents of dedication and passion are displayed in various forms wherever she goes. She moves straight-backed, with an intent to do something displayed in her face almost at all times. Sometimes, these habits of focussing on the minute details catches up with her - if something really bothers her, she will get caught up in the details that no-one would bat an eyelid at. She works to train herself not focus on the minute details, but on the odd occassion she will still revert back to her old habits.

-Aaron- Oof. He felt great. Simply wonderful. He had woken up ON THE RUG. Come on, he hadn't even made it to the bed? He snarled, which sounded weird as a human, but he was alone so he didn't especially care. He got up, wiping a bit of drool from the corner of his mouth and rubbing his eyes. He blinked, then washed his face and quickly got dressed, grabbing a granola bar for breakfast and walking into the hall, ruffling his blond hair in the hopes of making it just a bit more presentable. He pulled out his headphones, and started looking for a song to listen to, preferably one that would not make him fall asleep on a desk again. The clumsy explanation to the janitor... ugh. He was not planning to do that again, EVER. He unwrapped his granola bar, and cursed as it instantly slid out of the package and onto the floor. He bent down to pick it up, but slipped and landed face first on the hard carpeted floor.

~Kayeni~ - Kayeni rose to consciousness by part of the loud, blaring alarm in her ear. Ugh. Couldn't she have gotten more sleep? It felt far too early to be up, Kayeni thought. The wake-up alarm kept going and going. Kayeni finally rose, annoyed at the world for waking her up so early. Why, Kayeni thought, couldn't I have gotten more sleep? A swipe at the screen of her phone finally silenced the alarm, and finally Kayeni felt as if she could think without the alarm going on and on and on. Rising quickly, Kayeni trodded to the bathroom and splashed her face with water. Each splash finally woke her out of her semi-asleep stumble, and finally, Kayeni quickly got dressed, brushed her hair to make her look more presentable, and wandered over to the kitchen. Thankfully, the rest of her family seemed to be still snoozing away. Kayeni wished she could have been one of them, but inwardly knowing she had to get up earlier than the others to get to college on time, she knew she couldn't. Kayeni opened the fridge, and was slightly dismayed to see that the milk had been drunk by some greedy person last night. Great. Couldn't her parents have not made five quadrillion cups of coffee last night, and not used up all of it? She wanted coffee, and now there was no milk.

-Aaron- He groaned, sitting up on his knees. His first class was in what, 20 minutes? 30 minutes? He had a bit of time, and he wasn't going back to his room. That was a problem for later. Or never, if he could help it. Maybe he had time to study, or... go steal some more breakfast. Hmm. Who had breakfast? He wanted coffee, too, and maybe he could find a person to make friends with. After all, he didn't really know anyone here, and it was probably better if he had friends. They may help him get out of trouble if this janitor found him asleep in a random closet. That had only happened once though, to be fair, and he was sleeping a bit more now. Like... three hours of sleep last night? That was totally enough.

~Kayeni~ Abandoning her search for caffeine, Kayeni hurriedly chomped down some bread and jam, wondering as for all the world what the day would bring. Her mother, Kayeni knew, probably would have chastised her for chomping her food down that quickly. But really, Kayeni didn't care that much. After all, she did have a slight reason as to why sometimes she felt rather "wolfish". Okay, maybe a very good reason. But Kayeni still refused to acknowledge it existed. Kayeni eventually wandered out of the kitchen, mouth still muching down her breakfast. Well, maybe not much of a breakfast... because although she might have eaten enough, nothing goes well without a good cup of coffee. Moving through the house like a wraith, Kayeni eventually gathered everything she'd probably need to face the new day. Bag? Check. Random, pointless books? Check. Keys? Check. Coffee? Nope. Kayeni told herself to stop obsessing over the lack of coffee. Which was difficult, because... coffee.

~Aaron~ He tried not to... he did... but his self control had died a long time ago. He slipped outside and ran into the wooded biology project garden. Those biology people were weird, but he did like how they had made this forest. Thick, and good at hiding things. Especially things that belonged in forests. Like... wolves. He shifted, and padded along under the trees, his long tail wagging as he relaxed. He realized just how stressed he'd been that morning, and was glad that he'd stopped. However, he'd need to get to class soon, right? He attempted to check his watch, then remembered that he was a wolf. The only clothing he kept when shifted was his fox necklace, and even that sometimes disappeared as a dragon.

Kayeni checked her watch, and silently cursed as she realised she'd probably be late. Sweeping out of the door, along the street, and into the ridiculous forest that the environmentalists called "nature". Kayeni nearly snorted at the thought of this being nature. If this is nature, I'm a wild wolf, Kayeni thought to herself. Kayeni's footsteps were soft, almost silent, along the track, when she heard a slight rustle. Instincts coming into play, she instantly froze. That didn't sound like a human being. Another rustle, as silent as the previous. Kayeni took a quick look around. No humans around, at least. But what was making the rustling sound? A third small rustle made Kayeni make one of her quick, unthinking decisions. It wasn't a human. It didn't sound like a human. It sounded like an animal. One quick shift, and now she was the animal too, padding softly into the bushes on her silent paws. With her heightened wolf senses, Kayeni took another look around from the cover of her bush. The forest was eerily silent. Serves them right, Kayeni thought. The environmentalists never got things right somehow. No birds, and not many critters, just trees and bushes. Speaking of which... Kayeni noticed something about the bushes. Maybe twenty meters away, on the other side of the track. What was it?
