Name: Theo Samson Age: 22 Birthplace: York, England Height: 6'3" Appearance: Theo has always been complimented on his "lovely locks" as his grandma used to say. His hair a gorgeous deep chocolate brown colour, styled into a soft mullet of some sorts. It is certainly not as harsh as some mullets that you see nowadays. His skin tone is rather pale, with olive undertones so not ghostly pale. However, he does live in England so he doesn't see the sun as much as he would like. To compliment his skin tone is his piercing green eyes, a pale emerald colour that are one of the first features people notice from Theo. They are shaped into a puppy dog like shape, his eyelids a little hooded so it always appears that he has a sad expression on his face. He has a few moles and freckles on his face as well, but you would only notice if you were in close proximity to him. His lips are fairly thin, but mostly covered by his moustache, a fairly popular style choice in the modern day. He likes it, and it compliments his hairstyle well. Theo keeps in good shape, his body in good condition, athletic yet fairly heavy too. Because he participates in college rugby. Along his body, he has a few patchwork tattoos. Mainly tattoos his friends have practiced on him for fun, but they are all done to a professional standard. Just random things such as planets, little quotes and cartoon characters. It adds to the things he likes. Personality: Theo is considered a bad boy to most, his reputation at college usually consists of being a huge flirt with the girls, as well as constantly getting into trouble with his teachers. He had a tough childhood, growing up without a dad. So he never had that male discipline to teach him basic life skills. Therefore, he's navigating that into his adulthood still. However, despite all the bad things, Theo can be a very kind person to the people he cares about, especially his mother and close friends. He receives great pleasure out of taking care of them and keeping them close. Theo does struggle with an anger problem, something he has tried to control all his life. But unfortunately in the heat of the moment, he can't seem to get it under wraps. This is usually when he resorts to violence. A way of dealing with his bottled up emotions. The only way according to Theo. Despite all the negatives, when you get to know Theo, he has a kind heart and is only trying to do the right thing in that moment.

Name: Wren Kenton Age: 21 Birthplace: Manchester, England Height: 5'5" Appearance: Wren's most prized feature is her long, thick hair. It's a natural fiery red color that cascades down her back and to her waist in soft waves. Her skin is a milky pale color, kissed with freckles that had the same lovely tone of red as her hair. The freckles were centered around main points of her body, behind her shoulders, knees, and across the bridge of her nose and her rosy cheeks. Her eyes are a striking silvery grey, a grey so cold it's as if she could see straight into ones soul. The shape of her eyes could be referred to as doe-eyed with long, dark lashes that give her a sweet, innocent look. Her lips are plump, always seeming a bit pouty with the same rosy tone as her cheeks. Wren has a slim, feminine body that has an hourglass figure. She's always been small and has ballet to thank for her body shape. She's very light with little muscle, but she's still able to hold her own. She doesn't have any tattoos, never being able to bring herself to get one. She does have her ears pierced though, three holes in each lobe.
Personality: Wren is known to be the biggest sweetheart anyone has ever met. She's friendly, always willing to help anyone out who needs it. On top of that, she's smart and does her best to pay attention in class. Her focus hadn't ever been on boys, only school and her girl friends. One would say she had the perfect home life with both her parents having been present in her life. They brought her up to be a kind, caring girl with the heart of an Angel. However, Wren was also sheltered. She was taught to focus on school and worry about boys later, that the right one would come along in time. Of course, she's had her interests and crushes, she just never acted on them. That being said, she can be rather innocent and naive. She doesn't pick up on certain things very well and it can get her in sticky situations. In all, Wren is a tender hearted, caring girl who is easy to startle with sensitive feeling. Despite that, she'll love you til no end if you do right by her.

It was a sunny, warm day in September when Theo woke from his slumber. It was the start of the new college year and he was excited to start. To be with his friends again. Obviously not to start classes. He had been at home all summer, and of course he loved his mother, but he couldn't wait to be back in college.
Theo sat up, swinging his legs round to the side of the bed and his feet hit the cold wooden floor. He yawned tiredly, raising his arms up to stretch and feel a little more alive to start the day. It was around 7:30am at this point. His first class at 9am. He stood up, heading into his en-suite and turning on the shower, brushing his teeth while he waited for it to warm up to a suitable temperature.
After his shower, he dried himself off with a towel and pulled on some clothes. Some black straight legged jeans, a plain dark blue t shirt and a three quarter fleece. Even though it was warm, it was fairly chilly in the mornings here in Manchester. Theo grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs to the kitchen, his friend Harry already making breakfast. "Make me some will you?" Theo asked, sitting down at the breakfast bad. Harry turned to face him, rolling his eyes and huffing. "Fine," he said begrudgingly, making a second batch of protein pancakes.
Theo just laughed it off and checked his timetable for the day. "I've got biology to start. What do you have?" He asked Harry, shoving the piece of paper back into his bag. Harry hummed for a moment, before shrugging. "English," he muttered before turning to face Theo and presented him with pancakes. Theo sighed with relief. "Ah mate thank you," he said happily, quickly eating his pancakes. "Right. Gotta go, early start," he said, washing up the plate he had just used, slipping on his worn converse and rushing out the door.
Usually, he wasn't so eager to start the first day of college, but Theo had developed a little crush. A girl he had known for a long time. They went to high school together. Her name was Wren. She hated him. And he knew it. But still, he enjoyed flirting with her even though she completely ignored him most of the time. He would always give it a shot. Soon, Theo was sat in biology class, hoping that she would sit next time him. She never did. But there was always a hope.

The warm sunlight drifted through the window, beaming down on Wren's sleeping face. With a soft whine of irritation, she sat up, rubbing her tired eyes. She'd been up a little late prepping for class. She was always careful to be prepared, as being late was something she absolutely dreaded. Wren had been so ready for the summer to end, tired of being home all the time. She longed to learn as well as see her friends that she hadn't been able to keep up with during their time off.
As Wren's bare feet hit the floor, they were greeted by a soft, fluffy white rug. She was thankful for the protection from the cold as chilly temperatures were never her favorite thing. She headed for the bathroom, brushing her teeth after having thrown her hair up into a bun. It was around 7:45 at that point, her class at 9:00 approaching faster than she pleased. With the time in mind, Wren turned on the shower and stepped into the piping hot water, careful not to wet her hair.
"Morning Wren! Left you some coffee on your vanity," her suit mate, Holly, called out to her as she stepped out of the shower, wrapping her body in a towel. "You're amazing, thanks Holly!" She replied, drying off before grabbing the clothes she'd wanted to wear that day. Her choice ended up being a black skirt paired with slightly sheer black stockings, and a long sleeve cream colored sweater. Being cold natured, she was sure to dress a little warmer for the day.
Wren danced over to her vanity, sitting down at taking a sip of her coffee, humming in approval. She took her hair out of the bun she'd had it in, brushing out her long locks before tying half of it up with a ribbon. Once she was happy with her appearance, Wren slipped on a pair of heeled booties and grabbed her backpack, which was more like an oversized purse.
Holly had seemed to be gone already, which raised a red flag for Wren. She glanced to her phone, gasping as she saw the time. If she didn't hurry, she'd most definitely be late for her first class, which was biology. She downed her coffee, setting the mug aside to be washed when she got back.
Wren just knew there wouldn't be any decent seats when she made it to the class, and boy she couldn't have been any more right. The only open seat was the one spot she would have chosen last to sit at. Right next to Theo Samson. He's always been a bother. A cute bother, but still a bother. Wren sighed in defeat, mostly happy to have made it to class with moments to spare. She slid into the open seat, glancing over to Theo. She'd actually considered speaking, but something told her it wouldn't be in her best interest unless she wanted the flirting and teasing to start early. Of all classes to be late to, it just had to be the one she shared with him.

Theo walked through campus from his house, lifting up his arm to check the time. 8:54am. He had a little time to rush across campus toward the biology classroom which was around a 1 minute walk. As he waded through the hallway multiple girls giggled and pointed in his direction as they whispered to their friends. Theo was known to a lot of the girls around campus, mainly because he had flirted and gotten with so many of them that he had the reputation of being a player. He just smirked cheekily in their direction and continued his journey to class.
Eventually he got to the class, sitting down at an empty table. The only one left. Meaning Wren would have to sit next to him. He placed his backpack on the ground at his feet, eagerly waiting for her arrival. She was a little late. Which wasn't like her if he had remembered correctly. God he sounded like a stalker. Theo's head turned to the direction of the classroom door as he heard it open, seeing Wren's beautiful red hair walk in. Theo smiled to himself before keeping quiet as she sat down next to him. Although it didn't take long for him to pipe up and speak. "Alright gorgeous?" He spoke, a small grin playing on his lips as he glanced in her direction.
Theo felt like a little school boy when around her. He didn't know why he felt that way with her but he welcomed it with open arms. It felt nice to have a crush for once. Instead of all the girls crushing on him. His head snapped back to the teacher as the lesson began, twiddling a pencil between his fingers as he kept glancing back to her. He was sure that she knew he was watching her. But she knew he liked her, so there was no point in hiding it. Edited at January 20, 2024 05:34 PM by Silent Creek

Wren hadn't given anyone the time of day to stop her, refusing to not make it before the class began. Normally, she was always one of the first in class, but it seemed the universe had other plans for the little red head. She was just thankful to have made before rollcall, even if it left her sitting by Theo. Wren sat, putting her bag at her feet after taking out her notebook and a pen. She'd almost thought he wasn't going to bother her, but it seemed again she was wrong.
Upon hearing his voice, she groaned internally, knowing that it would be a long period. "Fine, Theo," she replied, holding back the urge to instruct him on calling her by name. Wren had looked him over, her normal pouty look on her face as to not betray any of her emotions. She wasn't quite sure why Theo was so.. obsessed with her, but her only guess was that it was because he couldn't have her. Wren knew his reputation all too well and she'd swore to herself to never get caught up in his charms.
Wren's attention quickly turned to the front as the teacher began to speak. She wrote down bits of notes, her hand writing cursive and neat. She could feel Theo looking at her, as if begging for attention. It nearly made her squirm knowing that she was being watched. Soon, Wren couldn't take it any longer. She lightly tugged his sleeve, leaning over to him. "Theo..." she murmured, her voice quiet as to not disrupt the class. Her cold gaze focused on his face for a moment before she finally spoke again. "Stop staring and pay attention~" she requested, letting go of the fleece material as she started to lean away. Did she expect him to listen? No, but did it hurt to try? Also no.

Theo could almost sense the displeasure in her voice when she spoke to him. He just silently chuckled to himself and continued to get on with his work, always looking in her direction whenever he got the chance. His friends, Chase and Luke were also flirting with a few girls, who were a few rows infront of Theo and Wren. Except they were getting flirted with back. Theo wasn't so lucky. He continued twirling the pencil in his hand as he felt a small tug on his fleece.
His attention immediately went to Wren, expecting a flirtatious gesture or comment, but he was wildly wrong. Theo bit his bottom lip, watching intensely as she spoke, listening and hanging onto every word like a dog. He was quickly disappointed with her response, but it didn't get him down. "Maybe you shouldn't be so gorgeous, then I wouldn't have to stare at you," leaning in and whispering to her. He smirked in her direction, giving her a wink before glancing back at the teacher who didn't seem to realise that they were talking. He knew Wren liked her education, so he didn't want to disrupt it for her even more than he already was.
Soon, class was finished and he began packing up his things. Theo turned his head towards Wren and he wanted to talk to her before she scurried off to her next class. "Go out with me on Friday," he said, his thick Yorkshire accent coming through. It was almost like a demand the way he said it. But he really wanted her to give him a chance, even though she wouldn't take it. Wren seemed to really dislike Theo. But that's what he liked about her weirdly.

Wren's breathing had hitched as she saw him biting his lip. God why'd he have to be so attractive? It went against everything she felt about him. His response however, whipped away her sense of attraction and replaced it with mild irritation. She shouldn't have expected anything else, though. His wink was enough to send her staring down at her notes while trying to hide the deep red blush that had rose to her face.
Wren had to admit, it had been hard to dislike him so much. He was irritating, a notorious play boy, and in all honesty he made it hard for her to focus without even trying. At that time, she did her best to pay attention, scribbling down notes for later as to not get behind.
When it came time to go, Wren was quick to gather her things and stand. She'd been about to go when Theo had spoke, asking, more so telling, her to go out with him. It somewhat caught her off gaurd as he never really asked her to go out with him. Typically he only flirted and teased her. "Y'know what? Fine. Why not give it a go," she sighed, hardly believing her own words.
Perhaps her acceptance would make him leave her alone. That or she'd be getting herself into one hell of a bind. Wren had promised herself in highschool to never get caught up with Theo, but it had been so long now she had to try something to get him to calm down some. "What time would you have me?" She asked, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. Wren really hoped she wouldn't regret giving him this one chance.

Theo was fairly shocked to hear her response. Was that a yes? It seems it was. He tried his best to disguise his surprise with a small smirk, but deep down he was very happy. He shifted his weight and cleared his throat. "How's 8? At the tavern?" He suggested. The tavern was just a students pub. Cheap prices with a great atmosphere. Perfect for a first date and to get to know each other more. Even though they've known each other for years, he didn't really know her. Only the fact that she was a gorgeous and studious girl.
He threw his backpack across his shoulder and checked the time. He didn't have long before his next class, wondering if she had the same one. "I have astronomy next, do you have the same class by any chance?" He asked, hoping he had a little longer to talk to her if she did have the same class. Theo waited for her response, glancing over to see his friends walking away with two girls, their arms draped across their shoulders. A fairly successful lesson for them. They would always flirt with the same girls over and over, but never got into relationships or took it serious with them. Which Theo knew was what those girls wanted. But they never expressed that with them. So they were all stuck in the same relentless cycle of flirtation and no strings attached.
