The alarm blared as it struck 6:30 AM, while the rising Sun creeps through the black curtains. A tall fan gradually rotates back and forth, gently blowing the lump in the bed of black silken sheets. Everything was quiet, except the fan and blaring alarm, of course. The figure in the bed shuffled, with an annoyed groan leaving them. Lazily the person sits up in the bed, the covers falling with a soft thump to expose them further. “I’m up. You can shut up now.” Mumbled the tired woman, a yawn escaping her before shutting off the annoying clock with a clenched fist. Though she used too much of her strength, shattering the poor clock that dared to do its job. She huffed, staring at the mess she made on the end table, pondering if she should clean it up now or later. “No time. I have to get everything ready for the day.” Shifting out of the comfort of her bed, the white-haired woman heads over to the closet to change into casual wear. She takes off her graphic t-shirt and black sweatpants. The woman tosses them aimlessly to the side. Next, she slips on a simple strapped white t-shirt, black business jeans, and a pair of black lace-up oxford shoes. Her scars from years ago are partially visible, and her shoulder tattoo of a wolf. She’ll wear the proper attire once she finishes the morning routine. With haste, she left her bedroom, adjusting the waistline of her jeans before wandering down the halls to Mauve’s bedroom. Rosalie stands outside the bedroom door, inhaling the scent of the vampire on the other side of the door. She brought her hand to the door, giving three loud and gentle knocks with the back of her knuckles. “Miss Sinclair. Time to get up.” Her tone was formal when it came to communicating with the person in the other room-expressing wondrous manners when it came to her employer. Waiting there for a bit to ensure the other was in the room and not kidnapped, she took her to leave to the kitchen. Going to prepare breakfast for them both, yet it wasn’t your typical human breakfast. She wanders to the living room beside the kitchen. The room is divided by a half-wall the same height as the counters. She heads down to the slightly lowered floor to reach the TV remote set on the coffee stand. She presses the power button on the remote to the television, flipping through the channels to the NEWS station to check the weather. Once done, she steps toward the kitchen to get breakfast started while listening to the TV in the background. Digging through the cabinets and pulls out a wine glass, setting it gently on the counter. Next, survey through what seemingly appeared to be a wine collection rack. “AB+. O+. A-.” Mumbling to herself as she read the labels of each bottle before pulling out one that reads O+. Nothing too rare, and it should waken her a bit. Rosalie pours the blood into the wine glass after pulling out the cork. “We’re having cloudiness and a bit of rain. Nothing too serious, but it’s best to bring an umbrella.” She fills the glass halfway before shoving the cork back to store the rest of the plasma. Her face wrinkled in disgust upon hearing the news, then glared out the tall windows. She examines the grey, looming clouds and the small raindrops gliding down the window. Finished with the blood-pouring task, she wanders the house to check for intruders. The white-haired woman sniffs every empty room for strange scents and listens for any suspicious noise. She patrols the penthouse for a few minutes, then strides back to the kitchen.

Already at her vanity applying the last stroke of her blood red lipstick. Mauve listened with amusement at the sound of alarms and then the crunch of plastic. Soon followed by the sound of sturdy and careful footsteps track through the penthouse towards her own room. A trio of knocks sounding at her door. Meant to wake her for the day. Staying silent knowing the woman on the other side was likely already making her rounds about the house. Standing with a grace that would put a feline to shame and unnerve the simplest of humans Mauve walked to her walk in wardrobe. Her white silk sleep dress left little to the imagination ending at mid thigh. Embroidered with fine white beading along the hem. She stepped out of it and doned a silk red button up shirt. Leaving it half unbuttoned. Along with black slacks with a thin black leather belt. Her feet she left bare for now. Rarely wearing them indoors. As she preferred the comfort and stealth it provided.
Her long silken gold hair was left down parted on the side a bit of product kept it in place and with a bounce to the waves. Which she moved over her shoulder as she exited her bedroom making her way to the living room of the penthouse she shared with her somewhat new guard Rosalie. Her heightened senses led her to the kitchen where the woman had prepared her breakfast. The smell of her favorite blood type hit her nose. "Good morning " the vampire woman's voice bled with a sultry yet kind tone. A voice trained to be welcoming yet powerful. "Thank you for breakfast Rosalie I trust you slept well?" Mauve questioned as she lifted the cool crystal glass to her painted lips. Sipping the refreshing liquid her hip leaning gently against the counter. After savoring the drink she spoke out loud with a hint of teasing in her smile. "Alexa add alarm clock to shopping list." Edited at December 7, 2022 11:38 PM by Ravensrun

Rosalie multitasked by listening to the news and hearing what her employer had to say. Her brows furrowed, still not used to living in such a place, let alone with a vampire. She didn't hear Mauve's footsteps, which creeped her out terribly. Who knows what else the other can do without her knowledge? Her coal-black eyes shift in her employer's direction, only for her eyes to glide down her attire. The corner of her lips twitches in an unknown expression. "Morning and welcome," Rosalie replied and turned her eyes to the other's crimson hues, her tone formal with the fellow woman in the penthouse. When she asked that question, Rosa raised a singular brow and a hum in her throat. "I'm not used to such beds." She wasn't used to sleeping in luxurious beds, and her body was getting stiff from resting in something she wasn't adapted to. Well, it's better than sleeping in a shared room full of reeking fighters. Ugh, that smell would never leave her nose. Her ears picked up the quip leaving the vampire's lips, causing her to mutter in displeasure. "Yeah, yeah." Still, there's a twinkle in her eyes. "I don't think your outfit is rain-friendly," her quality of words humorous, "you'll be drenched in a matter of seconds." Rosa leans on the counter across from Mauve, settling her crossed arms on the surface. Impishness radiating off the werewolf now, "Or maybe, that's your intention. Perhaps you want me to give you a coat or another excuse for me to snuggle you." Rosalie fans herself using her hand while holding her head with the other hand, the palm of it pressed against her cheek. Her eyes glimmered as she kept teasing the woman, but something in her head was telling her to be quiet, or else she'll face embarrassment. "Honestly, my mistress," the woman's grin only grew, "You're making me flustered yet honored to serve you." She laughs, giving Mauve a wink before removing herself from the counter. "Best if I retreat, or else I'll hear yours bring shame to my flattering words." The werewolf heads to her bedroom to finish putting on her attire, wanting to look presentable for the people in her employer's office. She finishes her attire with a red button-up shirt with a collar around her neck. Rosalie pulled her business jacket over her shoulders, latching the two buttons to it, then left the room quickly. Her next destination was the smaller storage closet, wanting to grab Mauve an umbrella-not wanting her to get soaked by the pouring rain. "I'll get the car warmed up for you, your highness. Don't want your chariot to be late, now do we?" Rosalie mockingly bows in Mauve's direction, then departs to the garage to start the car. Edited at December 8, 2022 10:24 PM by Cereal

Oh this one was going to be trouble. But the good kind she sensed. Her eyes flashed with amusement at the woman's air of boldness. Her last guard had disappointed her. A vampire male who's own self obsession irked her relentlessly. He had been caught stealing from her own personal blood stores. His punishment had been just. He wanted the vintage so bad he now had his name on a bottle in the blood fridge. Well his blood type and name. • Rosalie had flashed a wink at her before disappearing off down the hall to her room. Mauves mouth twitched into a smile. This one was going to be fun indeed. After a few moments the werewolf returned to the foyer with an umbrella in hand. But that is not what caught the CEOs attentive eyes. The woman had doned an outfit of her own style but that which reflected Mauves own attire. Very very bold. Following her towards the garage at an almost stalking pace. Stopping to done her black boots. • Soon meeting the guard in the car in the garage. The black firebird with cherry red finishes clicked shut as she entered it. The warmth of the heaters gracing her pale skin. Her mind quickly shook away the thought of how warm her guards arms might be. Glad the woman was a werewolf in that moment as a mind reader of her kind would have quickly betrayed her thoughts. Mauves own skill as an empath a sensor and manipulator of emotions didn't help her case. "The address is already in the gps" Edited at December 24, 2022 01:05 AM by Ravensrun

She waits for Mauve to get in first before pulling the handle to reserve, pressing a button attached to the wheel to open the garage door. "If I crash, I do humbly apologize. Your looks distract me ever so terribly; though, I have a feeling you'll be relatively unscathed compared to me." She was teasing, yet oddly, their was some seriousness to her voice. Somewhat revealing that she finds the vampire alluring. . .and dangerously so. Rosa reverses out of the garage, then once on the driveway, smoothly steers the car in the direction of the security gate. She adds pressure to the gas pedal, driving the vehicle towards the gate. The clouds were covering the sun, but just in case, she presses another button on the wheel. The outer windows tint grew darker, but those riding in the inside can still see. Think of it as sunglasses, but for your cars. A neat invention by a vampire that grew tired of being crisped by the sun's brutal rays. Rosa activates the coordinates to the GPS while the gate steadily opens. Silently listening as the rain hits their vehicle, seeming to enjoy the sound of it. This made her way too relaxed, with the heat hitting her body and the little song of the raindrops caused her to partially shift. Her white ears and tail exposed, yet she wasn't all too bothered by them being visible. Her hair grew slightly longer, even the braid she has in her hair grew a few inches. With the gate finally gone, she drove off in the direction of the city's heart. Leaning cimfortably in her seat while steering the car with one hand. Meanwhile, her other arm rests comfortably on the armrest in-between the driver and passenger seat. "Traffic better not be shit or else I'll lose my mind." When it comes to many things, she's extremely impatient and tends to get, well, aggressive. What appears to be content for someone else can be a hinderence for Rosalie.

Miss Sinclair could feel the hidden rays of sun glaring down at her even being the clouds like a forgotten memory she dare not turn her mind upon. The clouds and tinted glass kept the suns burn from touching her but it didn't stop it's heated eye from casting its shadow. With a bracing breath Mauve turned her gaze from the window and lost dreams. To the woman driving the sports car like it was the easiest thing in the world. Her nature screamed layed back ease. And it intrigued the vampire. Her own kind held a stillness that gave them an unearthly edge but her new guards grace was different. Werewolves where a species she had met few to little times. The people preferring to stick to their own territory's. A loyal people she held in high regard based on that fact alone. When working in a company dedicated to keeping secrets and masking identities loyalty was everything. Hearing her remark on traffic Mauves painted lips pulled up in a smile "People tend to move in the direction I find most pleasing, I do not think traffic will be a hindrance on us today" feeling a buzz on her side she pulled out her non trackable phone. Quickly reading the message her assistant sent her. A frown now finding it's way to her unlined unaged face. She began to send a reply to the message she just received. Nails typing with unearthly speed.
"Change of plans a spy was caught tracking our most recent ward. They want me personally to question him." Leaning forward to change the address in the gps from the Witness protection Headquarters; to the warehouse that was most notorious for being used for holding interrogations at. Her long golden hair fell forward brushing the werewolf's leg as Mauve typed in the new location. Her jasmine scented purfume becoming more apparent as the air conditioner gently cooled her and the security guard.
