Territory Lay Out The pack is situated against a mountain range that over looks a valley. On the east side of the valley is a forest, its vegitation thick and covering. On the west side of the valley runs a river that is wide and dangerous. It snakes through the valley and keeps this pack away from human civilization and any other packs that could form. At the end of the valley is the start of rising hills. They are smooth and sloping, but their lack of great lush vegitation speaks of heading out of pack lands and reaching where the state of Montana begins to thin out vegitation wise. The pack den is situated on the east side of the valley. Where it is located is a speacious meadow, a creek, and dense forest. Its a little pocket of heaven, a slice of relaxation for the pack itself. Wild Game Here is what a wolf will find as prey and predatory animals. 1. White tail deer (prey) 2. Rabbit (prey) 3. Geese (prey) 4. Skunks (prey) 5. Coyotes (predator/prey) 6. Fox (predator/prey) 7. Grizzly Bear (predator) 8. Lone Wolves (predator) 9. Antelope (prey) 10. Mule Deer (prey) 11. Ducks (prey) 12. Rattle Snake (predator/prey) 13. Bull Snake (prey) 14. Elk (prey) {takes more than one wolf} 15. Moose (prey) {takes more than one wolf} 16. Bison (predator/prey) {takes more than one wolf} 17. Husk gave a nod to the Alpha's gratitude, and was about to offer his sister's name, when the sound of sharpening claws interrupted him. Husk felt aggitation prick under his skin, despite his fur remaining smooth, and he glanced over to Revenge. It seemed she had aggitated the alpha too, as he quickly reprimanded her. Husk was glad it wasn't his place to. She seemed like a pawful.
As the pack started to calm and somewhat disperse, Xivu lost interest for now. Getting to her paws, she turned and headed back towards the stream where she had been before. If the alpha deem another female necessary, he could follow her scent.

Dove was going to do his best to behave and act like an alpha, but obviously the female Revenge cared not. His grey ears tucked tight to his head as he watched her almost snarl, as if she would really get that far. She came to him, wanted to join the pack he was creating, and acted like this? With a swift shake of his head, Dove snorted and let his gaze flick to Husk.
"I am going to follow her and figure out what rank she would like and her name. May you follow after Adanne and make sure that she is all good for now?" Dove knew that Husk was just as new as everyone else, but for the moment things were spead just thin enough he would lean on another strong canine to help him out, even if it was a bit odd to split up as if they were already Alpha male and Beta male. Listening to Revenge in that moment though, the male looked over at her. "Right now we have warrior, hunter, and general pack. Everything else has to be earned or fought for once ranks are in place." There would be no special treatment from Dove at this time. Everyone was knew to each other and it was time they began to work through the kinks of this pack. "Thank you all, but there is a female I must speak with to catch her name." What that, Dove dipped his head and went after the grey clad female.

She flicked her tail and sensing his anger and mild hostility, sat up comfortably. She didn't want to get in trouble with him, and she wasn't even sure that she wanted to join this pack. She had been a loner for a while, and didn't really like these wolves. However, some of these females seemed intriguing, especially the one who hadn't said her name. She seemed aloof, fierce, like she held herself above the other wolves, and Revenge respected that. She twitched her whiskers, wanting to socialize a bit before she decided whether or not to join the pack or go back to being a loner.

Adanne Mater Adanne trotted gracefully through a sunlit meadow after some time of exploring. Her dark fur and its mystical silver markings glistened under the warm rays of the midday sun. Had she been doing anything else, perhaps she'd have stopped there to soak in the rays, but alas, her eyes shone with determination to find the pack a good place to stay. As she ventured deeper through the blades of grass, she eventually came back upon the forest itself; the dense foliage creating a canopy of dappled sunlight. With moss and fallen leaves providing cushion for her steps to silence, the air filled with a fresh scene of pine and blooming wildflowers, mingling with the earthy aroma of the moist patches of dirt. This could be it... she thought, glancing around. Her ears swiveled with every rustle and movement around her. As she navigated through the vast expanse of green, her keen ears picked up the distant chirps of birds and rustling of small animals. Excitement flooded through her veins upon realization that she was near a pool of water, based on the distant sound of rushing water. The mystical-colored female leapt up from her position, breaking into an excited sprint through the trees -- dodging and weaving through trees. As she broke through the tree line, a stream of crystalline water flower elegantly past her, running through her paws and cooling her of any tension that grew during that pack meeting. This was it. The territory was fit for prey and predator a like, a perfect and harmonious balance. The clearing, the river, the forest... all that was left to find an adequate place for a few dens. "How's that for your first task?" she asked herself, peering into her reflection in the rushing waters, a prideful expression in her eyes, "good on you, Adanne. Good on you!"

It seemed Xivu's aloof behavior had garnered her more attention than she'd thought. "Sure, Alpha." He answered to the request, or perhaps order. Either way, the dark grey wolf turned and trotted off after the scouting female. It would take him a little bit to catch up to her, especially since he wasn't hurrying. Husk was soaking up the view of the territory, burning it to memory since this was supposed to be his home now, when he did eventually catch up to Adanne. She was talking to herself while looking at her reflection. Sitting down on the bank, Husk couldn't help the amused smile that cut across his muzzle. "Indeed, good on you." He agreed aloud.
Xivu didn't realize she was being followed at first. But as any alpha would do, he trapsed through the territory with no need to be quiet. Ears tipping back at the sound of paw steps, she stopped and turned to see the approaching male. It seemed she had him all to herself, which might have tugged a laugh of amusement from her lips, if she didn't keep the stoic expression on her face. "What gives me the honor of your presence, alpha?" She asked, wondering why he had bothered to follow when it seemed he had plenty of admirers already.

Moving after the female, Dove did not hide his presence with silent steps. His large paws moved over the ground loud enough to alert her to his movement. It was not that he was usually loud, but he hated being snuck up on and he was not about to make her feel the same feeling he himself dealt with. It would all come to a head at some point, but for now he would be as loud and noisy as possible while coming upon those in his pack. Catching up to her, the male dipped his head with a faint breath. "I've come to ask your name and what rank you would like to start out with." Dove was deep down a kind wolf, but currently he had to act a bit more up tight and stoick than what he prefered to be. WIth that all said though, the grey beast stopped his foreward movement as his head tilted to the side. "Thank you for being paitent though.. if thats what you were doing." He would thank her for that as it had been overly clear he was out of his depth dealing with so many wolves all at once. Edited at June 3, 2024 12:03 AM by Frozen Mist

Adanne Mater Oh. Well, that's embarrassing. Adanne nearly tripped over herself upon hearing the male's voice ring throug her ears, startled nearly out of her fur. Well, there really was no living that down, now was there? She cleared her throat, her ears pushed back in slight embarrassment as she sat herself firmly on the bank -- keeping the distance between she and Husk. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, but rather that she just embarrassed herself so bad she needed a reset. "Ahem..." she looked elsewhere, "did the Alpha send you? I think we've got something real promising here." Yes, she decided to pretend it never happened. Don't judge her. Adanne curled her tail around her paws, nodding in the direction of the river. "What did you say your name was? I suppose I should know my packmates, no?" Adanne's last pack experience was... less than savory. She really hoped this one would be better -- one where she was treated equally and not as a... yeah. It'd be better. It already was.
