▩ Introduction ▩ ▩ The infamous three headed dog, Cerberus, is written in legend as a guardian. A sentry past the River Styx, guarding Hades and the underworld. According to the written origins of the breed, it's rumored that when he was defeated, he swam into the River, determined to make up for his loss. However, Styx did not claim him, and instead drifted him over to the side of the Living. ▩ ▩ What seemed to be a curse or strange mutation turned out to be a dominant trait, and thus began the appearance of three-headed canines among several different breeds throughout the generations. These are now seen as a symbol of power or luck by many, however, for as many revered showdogs there are now, there are just as many feral dogs roaming the forests and wilderness. ▩ ▩ With the intention on preserving this strange phenomenon, aspiring breed enthusiasts have been permitted to operate privately to increase the breed population and improve the overall health, twemperament and quality of life of these canines. ▩ This is now open, and to celebrate it's opening, all prices are 50% off of the marked price! ▩ Adoption ▩ Once a minimum of 3 Breeds are discovered, the Adoption Centre will open. This Centre will offer premade canines or canines that an individual would like rehomed. You can only rehome canines that weren't a result of one of your litters. To sell littermates, please see the Breeder's Market. -The Adoption Centre is not open- ▩ Breeder's Market ▩ The Breeder's Market is the hailmark of business for both established breeders and those looking to get quality pups. You may only put up pups that come from a litter you bred or co-bred, and they must be considered purebred- meaning both direct parents are of the same breed, even if there is a mix further down the lineage. -The Breeder's Market is not open- Edited at June 16, 2024 01:42 PM by Ludicrous Hills

▩ Feral Discovery ▩ Form: I'd like to EXPLORE! Username: Kennel Name: Location: Item(s) Brought: Currently ANY Location is a 200 mushroom fee, however this is subject to change There are only 3 open slots at any given time, with a 3 slot waitlist once those fill -> Open -> Open -> Open Waitlist -> Open The easiest but most volatile way of retreiving any kin of the Styx is through Feral Discovery. You will be prompted through a small, typically 4-6 prompt adventure in which you will discover a feral canine which you will either catch or befriend depending on your approach style. You may purchase items from the shop to influence the outcome a bit but there are no garuntees when it comes to the breed, gender, personality, or stats of the canine. If you do not like the canine you've recieved you may rehome them to the adoption centre or trade them with another registered kennel. ▩ Locations ▩ -> Cinnamon Field This is a large, vast expansion of rolling, grassy hill, littered with wild cinnamon plants. It gives off the distinct scent of cinnamon with every step, and it's a common place for canines to frolic. -> Dense Pine Forest A very plain-looking forest with lots of trees that are often difficult to weave around. It is a great place to find flora, fauna, and wandering canines, but beware the potential of getting lost yourself. -> Silver Plated Grotto The grotto is a cavern where rich soil's buried into the cracks and bloomed rows of silver-leaved poplar that sticks up and hangs down in every direction. Agouti rabbits are plentiful here, making it a valuable hunting spot for canines. -> Old Carpentry Dump This is a place filled with scrapped projects- unused pieces of wood, broken or warped furniture- splinters galore. However, it's also typically avoided by predators such as bears who know there's little food in it, so it's an option to find canines if you're a fan of risk. -> Arowana Wetlands A wetland containing a slow-moving body of water known as blackwater, which contains colorful Arowana fish. Even the canines know they're too precious to eat, but young adults and pups are often found trying to scoop them out of the water. ▩ The Tracker ▩ Erin McKinnon is the best professional tracker out there for anyone's stock needs. She keeps a detailed list of her expeditions and is privy to many secrets in any location that is not common knowledge. Once a Breed is discovered she will offer to find you a canine of that breed for a price. -The Tracker is not open, come back when at least 1 breed has been discovered- Edited at June 16, 2024 07:59 PM by Ludicrous Hills

▩ Breeding Program ▩ In order to breed your canines you must have a registered Kennel and own at least 1 canine of your own. A breeding costs 200 mush. Once the breeding is accepted it can take up to 7 days for the litter to be posted. After the posting of the litter, you must wait at least 3 days before applying for another breeding. You may only have 1 breeding at a time. The standard rule of thumb is that 1/3rd of a litter is held back (kept), and the other 2/3rds becomes available to the Breeder's Market. This doesn't apply to crossbred pairs or special cases. Crossbreeding different breeds is not currently available unless you request it with a valid reason (ie. introducing a gene into a breed that doesn't offer it) Edited at June 16, 2024 05:03 PM by Ludicrous Hills
