Other Info

Living Situations

The territory that is shared is roughly fifty miles of forest. Divided by a creek, each territory is about twenty-five miles, the werewolf's being a tad longer for hunting, but it has never been an issue. Each species lives in a large mansion, both of which are three stories with plenty of rooms, bathrooms, and other things (kitchen, gym, etc). The Newbies and Defectives do not live in the same house due to their uncontrollable emotions, so instead, they live in smaller guest houses that are watched over by the older vampires or werewolves.

The forest surrounds a nearby town that is of average size. Humans have no suspicion of them living the forest as nobody goes out that far into it. The forest is mainly pine, and is lush and thick. There is plenty of prey wandering around, both for werewolves and vampires.

Diets

Adding this here for the sake of clearing up any confusion :P (if there even is any).

Defectives (new vampires) must feed on humans for roughly a week before they can switch to animal blood. This is to soothe their thirst. Although animal blood will soothe it, it has never proved to be enough. Older vampires can feed on any animals hunted by them, and it is preferred that the blood is fresh instead of older prey. However, this just means they might not fulfill their hunger.

Werewolves only feed on animals and have no need for human blood. Newbies just have a stronger hunger, therefore become a danger to humans. After roughly three months, they're good to go.

Of course, both can eat human food, but don't need to.

Hybrids

Although not available in the RP, I figured it would be an interesting subject nonetheless.

The only way a hybrid is made is if a werewolf and vampire have a kid together, or if a vampire drinks werewolf blood (this will cause the mutation to happen). It cannot be vice versa because vampire's do not have a mutation like how werewolves do. The result of hybrids calls for an intelligent, witty, insanely strong, powerful, and swift creature that is practically immortal. The weaknesses on them are unknown, but their strengths are quite obvious.

Murdered Vampires

There were about three vampires who were killed. One was the former second-in-command, and the other two were subordinates. The werewolf who did it has long since left and is untraceable. I wouldn't mind if we made some slightly developed NPCs for the vampires, and if we need more drama, someone's OC could've been close with the murderer.

NPC 1 - Anastasia Halifax
Probably the most devastating murder, she was the wife of Vivian. Heartbreaking enough, she was beloved among the clan and most would want to avenge her.

NPC 2 - Nicolas Hammer
A newer addition to the clan, Nicolas was a twenty-three year old who had recently became a subordinate. Although sometimes a handfull, he was one to please others and successfully did so.
