Kings of Winter~
I come with a plot or two:
Both include magics, medieval setting, and all that malarkey.
Idea One:
Our characters are the last of a great empire across the Sea, refugees from a great natural disaster which sent to continent into a fiery collapse. Our people were wise once, noble and just bringing fire and glory to their lands upon the backs of dragons. So connected they were, it was as if they could feel their thoughts...
We don't know, we are young. Remnants of what once was. All we have are a few scraps of mosaics, an ancient tome in a languagewe can barely read, what little wealth we could gather in the chaos, and a small clutch of dragon eggs. This is our peoples hope.
In the distant fog, a rocky outcrop emerges and sea birds wail. Land, after months at sea before us is new land.
Untamed, wild, ruthless. Ripe for the plucking of two younglings, whose destiny be either to claim it all or bathe it in fire.
This land can be given lore by both of us if you so choose! I invisioned this story as a sort of culture shock sort of thing, like when the Vikings first went to England. Christian v. Norse. Witches in the Forest. Politics. Druids. Supernatural beasties.
Idea 2:
They should have acted, the Old Gods whose souls lay buried within the roots of the tree between realms. But chaos and power never dwindle... Only recycled. What is dead may never truly die.
Between here, the land beyond the ice moores, to the fens of the marshlands, the deserts of the East and so much more... Power is arising once more not seen since the age of heros. Gods are walking amongst mortals once more... New Gods! Arriving with calamities and magics never seen by the eyes of men. Corrupt. Controlling. Devious. The New Gods as wonderful they may seem, seek only to control the lives of mortals. To bind them to fate and destiny, to outlive their predecessors when the end comes for them too.
RISE YOUNG HERO! For Gods nor Men can challenge you. Your blood lies with those of the Old Gods, and it's time to reclaim your title.
Similar to the God of War games, we would journey the world battling corrupt and evil deities who are attempting to rule over humanity. Our characters are descendants of demigods, and with the death of the Old Gods their primordial powers have chosen our characters as outlets... There would be lots of power scaling, and build up to ULTIMATE POWER stuff, but that's the bare bones idea. Could use a bit of reworking but yeah. We can work in myths and all sorts of things.
RP literacy:
I'm a high semi-literate. Autocorrect is my worst enemy and removes my title as literate.
