Everybody knows that there are wolf packs roaming the forests in the region of Arboribus. In fact, there is one so well-known that people have deemed the pack, “Tyrannis.” This is due to the fact that these wolves have terrorized people and sent many to their deaths over the numerous decades for which this pack has existed and thrived, growing bigger with each passing year. Tales of these wolves capable of sending a shiver down one’s spine have been passed down among people and only reinforces the belief that these animals are nothing short of monsters deserving of death. However, all of the destruction that these wolves have caused has been made up by farmers who have had their livestock ruthlessly torn apart and eaten by these wolves. However, wolves have only dared to travel into human territory because they do not have a choice. People are hunting more animals such as deer, elk, and moose for no other reason than they like the thrill of the hunt. They don’t have any idea that their arrogance is taking its toll on the Pack of Tyrannis, and rapidly, too. Tyrannis has been the only pack of wolves to wander into human towns and kill livestock and family pets because they know what they need to do to survive. And that is to kill, whether it be elk, cows, sheep, or even a dog or cat. When the humans have finally had enough of Tyrannis’s desperate attempts at survival, they decide to do the unthinkable. Not only do they continue to over hunt the population of deer, elk, and moose, which also takes effect on other predators such as mountain lions and bears, but the humans also decide to burn down that forest when they’re done with it. Most of the wolves which used to make up Tyrannis’s ranks are killed, and those that aren’t dead have run far away from the forest that they used to call their home. However, even though the legendary pack has been split up, most who have traveled into the same biomes together have formed groups in a last effort to find other survivors and reform the pack. But what the three groups which once made up the Pack of Tyrannis don’t know is that each of the groups is far, far away from one another, and what’s worse is that they don’t even know that the other groups exist, although some have thought about the possibility. The real question is, though, who are you? Will you survive the hardships thrown on you, or will you die like a dog? That all depends on the decisions that you and others decide on, and on the sacrifices that you’re willing to make. |

(FORMER) Roles Explained Wolf Pack FORMER Roles Explained Alphas The alphas are the leaders of the pack, and both the alpha male and the alpha female hold the same amount of power. These two aren't always mates, although, in some cases they may be. The alphas are responsible for leading their pack as well as instructing other high ranks such as the betas and deltas on what to do. The alphas also decide on important descisions or what to do during crisis, and the two always must decide things together unless of emergency. Betas The betas are the second of commands in the pack only under the alphas themselves. The betas aren't always mates, but they can be, just like the alphas. They organize patrols, hunting groups, and help the alphas in descision-making. What they say is law unless opposed by one or both of the alphas, and the betas also take on the duties that regulars do, such as hunting and fighting. Deltas Just like with the alphas and betas, deltas aren't always mates but it is possible that they can be. The deltas are the third-in-commands of the pack, and take care of things if and when both the alphas and betas are unable to. They also help the betas with some of their duties, but they are not as high-ranking as them. Otherwise, they take on the responsibilities of regulars such as hunting and fighting. Regulars The regulars of the pack are what make up a majority of it, and they may or may not have a mate. Regulars sit below the deltas in terms of pack hierarchy, and they take on the duties such as hunting, fighting, and patrolling. Mothers These are female wolves who have or are going to have a pup. They may take on the responsibilities of their previous role when their pups are old enough to eat meat, however, otherwise they are to take on duties around the camp or to watch over their pups. Pups Pups are the youngest, smallest members of the pack and are not permitted to leave the camp unless in the case of emergency. They are looked after by their mothers and the pack's regulars, and may take on minor duties or learn how to until they're old enough to hunt, fight, and patrol. Omega Usually the smallest, weakest adult of the pack or one who has done something against the pack. They are below all other ranks, and must obey all those above them. They are also treated the worst and take on the responsibilities that nobody else wants such as cleaning out the dens. They may have a mate if they'd like, and they also may fight to raise their rank. All roles are former, as since the pack got split up each of the groups have all sorted out new roles among themselves. The Three Groups + Wolf Pack New Roles Group 1 (NORTHERN GROUP) The first group fled to the mountains, far from human territory. The Tyrannis Wolves living here tend to be much more powerful and heavily built than any other of the three groups. They also are capable fighters, climbers, and have adapted to colder temperatures quite well. However, most of them lack endurance and are pretty mediocre when it comes to swimming. This group is the smallest, only being made up of three wolves. The Leader: [0/1] [Open] - The Protector: [1/1] [CLOSED] Arashi | 5 | Female | Played by Glacialis (Form not yet made) The Hunter: [0/1] [Open] Group 2 (SOUTHERN GROUP) This group fled to the shrublands, far away from human territory. The Tyrannis Wolves here are built for endurance and have the stamina to withstand even the most extreme of circumstances compared to any of the other groups. They also are great at traveling long distances and their short fur helps them combat the heat. However, they tend to struggle due to the lack of water in the shrubland and they aren't built for speed due to the fact that they mostly climb and travel on rougher, rockier terrain populated by dense vegetation. This group is made up of five wolves. The Leader: [0/1] [Open] - The Protector: [0/1] [Open] - The Hunter: [0/1] [Open] - The Scout: [0/1] [RESERVED] RESERVED The Frightened: [0/1] [Open] - Group 3 (EASTERN GROUP) This group fled to the east to the grasslands, a medium distance away from human territory. The Tyrannis Wolves who've claimed the grassland as their home tend to be fast and efficient hunters, although they usually hunt smaller less difficult prey due to their lack of strength. They are great swimmers, but aren't built for climbing because there isn't much to climb in the grassland. Their fur isn't too long, but not too short either, due to the fact that the grassland varies in temperature greatly depending on the season. This means that they aren't suited to resist the extreme cold or extreme hot, and climbing isn't a strongsuit either so they avoid places like the mountains. This group is the largest of the three, having seven wolves in it. New Roles Explained The Leader: Just as the title implies, the leader is the one who leads the group, and each group has one. The leader is usually the smartest one in the group and must be quick-thinking when worst comes to worst. They make all of the important decisions and may have been a high-ranking wolf in the old pack. The Protector: The protector is the one who protects and guards the group from danger. They are usually, if not always, the strongest and most combat-skilled wolf in the group. Although they may not fight alone they always lead the fights, unless the leader says otherwise. They must be willing to fight and protect their group at the cost of their life, for if not fighting with an attitude like that then this individual will certainly die when in the face of certain death. The Hunter: The hunter is the fastest and most skilled hunter of the group, and although they may not hunt alone they will always lead the hunts unless the leader says otherwise. The hunter must be agile and fast enough to catch up with their prey, or they will certainly fail to catch their prey in the face of starvation. The Scout: (Exclusive to Groups 2 & 3) The scout is the eyes of the group, always on the lookout for danger. And although they may not scout alone they are usually the best at scouting and can see and hear things that others cannot due to their exceptional senses. If a scout does not scout with a sense of seriousness and protectiveness for their group, then they most certainly will fail to see an obvious threat approaching. Group 1 does not have a scout. The Frightened: (Exclusive to Groups 2 & 3) The frightened is a wolf with a frightened and skittish nature, and although they may not be weak or lower than the others in their group, they are usually unwilling to do anything that scares then thus being labled as something like the omega of the pack. There is no place for frightened wolves in Group 1. The Energetic: (Exclusive to Group 3) The Energetic is pretty self-explanitory. The energetic is usually a very energetic wolf who has a substantial amount of stamina or endurance, and is constantly hyper with tons of energy. They are usually pretty annoying and many wonder how The Energetic constantly is bouncing off the walls and, well... energetic. Group 1 nor Group 2 have any place in their ranks for energetic wolves. The Rebellious: (Exclusive to Group 3) Every wolf goes through a rebellious phase, but this one never seemed to grow out of it. This wolf has a low view of their group and likes to ignore or laugh off most and any orders given to them that they don't like. They are usually hot-headed and quite balanced in terms of skill, just not in terms of personality. Loners: Wolves that are alone. Usually a Loner's motto is, "live alone, die alone." ~~

Rules 1. Follow all of Eves and WPs rules. 2. Be Active. I expect at least 2-3 posts a week, if you don't post and have no good reason for it then expect to be kicked. 3. This is a semi-literate roleplay. Posts must be 200+ words, if your post is less than 200 words and does not meet requirements then expect to be kicked. Writer's block is an exception. 4. No Mary / Gary sues. Your character has to have some flaws! 5. No perfect characters, god-modding, etc. These kind of things will not be tolerated. 6. Respect everyone and everyone in the RP, if disrespect is shown to anybody than expect consequences. Also, if you've read the rules this far then hide an icecream flavor in other! 7. Hate the character, not the player! 8. You may have how ever many characters that you can handle in the RP, with a maximum of two high-ranking roles. 9. Do not have a character that keeps wandering off from the group, gets hurt constantly, etc. Once in a while is fine but when done all the time, it gets annoying. 10. Your characters may die! However, please before you get into a huge fight with, heavily injure, or kill somebody else's character then please PM me and whoever you're interacting with beforehand. 11. Defects and rare pelt colors are fine, however, no pink wolves with wings or anything of the sort. I'd like to keep this as realistic as possible. 12. NO ONE-LINERS!! I cannot stress this enough. This is a semi-literate RP and one-liners do not give anyone much of anything to respond to. If you do any one-liners than you will be kicked unless you have a good reason for doing so. 13. Have fun!
