I understand that concept of a landline is old school and very low tech but I like old school/retro stuff ( plus my dad collets old phones so I have a appreciation for them ) so the fact that I got a ScoobyDoo one just makes me excited about it ^^

plus when I first received it it wasn't working , so after some dusting and cleaning up ware some corrosion was from the old battery's , ( it has ring animations when someone is calling) sadly the corrosion was too bad that it damaged the spring for the battery's , so I will never experience what the ring animation was, I also ended up replacing the cord that plugged into the jack since the * original cord * didn't work

so after all the restoration was done and I plugged it in and picked up the receiver and heard the dile tone I screamed " it works!" while I had this grin on my face , so whlie I know some people won't understand my joy in this , getting it to work ( especially since I bought it understanding that it may not work) just make my day ^^
