War had entered between two countries. The war was started not too long ago after one country broke the alliance of another by attacking the other country's leader at a peace alliance meeting.

This war has been nothing but destruction left and right. Both sides just end up feuding with each other each time a peace offering is brought up. The people of both sides are fed up and just want their lives to go back to how they were before: peaceful and welcoming toward each other.

Character A and Character B are soldiers that represent both countries. Character A is a spy that was sent to spy on the other country and report back everything that they see. They began to follow Character B and keep tabs on them since they seemed interesting and a well-respected soldiers. Character B goes to patrol an area of nothing but blizzard-like conditions and Character A follows them.

The wind is howling and temperatures are dropping. In desperate attempt to prevent frostbite, Character B heads into a cabin. Character A follows and gets caught by Character B. The two spend so much time arguing that the blizzard gets worse...until they are trapped inside with each other!

Sergeant
Sergeant Spears
Age:
Twenty-Eight (28)
Gender:
Male
Birthplace:
Jacksonville, Florida (United States)
Hometown:
Jacksonville, Florida (United States)
Race:
Dutch-American
Rank:
Sergeant In the American Armed Forces
(Enlisted at 19, finished training at 20)
Battalion:
137th Division
Sexual Orientation:
Straight
Appearance:
Jackson stands at 6'1, and weighs 198 pounds. He is very muscular, not like a body builder, but pretty muscular. His muscles show when he wears thighter clothing, but are easily visible when wearing his combat uniform. He has brownish-blond hair, although it typically looks more dark brown. He is always cleanly shaven, as he learned from his father (see afflictions). His hair is normally in a buzz cut, with slightly longer hair on top. Which is the typical military haircut. He has lighting blue eyes, although most the time they are a dark blue.
When not in his military uniform he usually has on a camo type shirt, although you can see him in a darker colored shirt.
As Jackson is a woodworker, which he picked up at 15, his hands are normally callused and scarred. His hands are rough, and normally covered in wood shavings, as it is what he has aleays been around.
Personality:
His personality is usually on the easy going/laid back type, but when commanding his unit, it is usually more serious and stern. He is a natural leader, and is willing to take a position of command if needed. He is stubborn, and will usually go out of his way to get what he, or what a close friend wants. As well as his stubbornness, he is also very outspoken, as he is willing to speak out for the good of all people.
One trait of his that can be taken both ways is his loyalty. He is loyal to the military and also to his family and friends. This can be taken both ways, as either a strength or weakness, as he is willing to die for his country and his close friends abd family. He is also portective and can be overprotective at times.
One thing that no one takes for granted is Jackson's bravery and courage. He is usually the first person to volunteer for any task, and us always willing to put his life on the line.
Afflictions:
Thomas J. Spears
Father l Deceased l Jackson's father, Thomas J. Spears, is Jackson's mentor. Jackson has always looked up to him for advice. When he died fighting for Britian when Jackson was 15, it left an empty place in his heart. His dad had always loved Britian, and had taken up woodworking as a hobby. Thomas taught Jackson everything he knew: Woodworking, fishing, hunting, and survival skills. Everything Jackson needed in life to become a "man". Thomas also showed and caused Jackson's love for Football, which Jackson played throughout High School (See Background). Inspired him to serve in honor of him.
Annabeth H. Spears
Mother l Alive l When Jackson's father died, his mother was so distraught, that she decided to leave everything behind, and moved to the United States. She encouraged Jackson to continue Football, and made sure Jackson studied up in school. What she didnt eant though, was for Jackson to enter the military, as it reminded her of Thomas. Jackson's connection to his mother is so strong, and even though he moved to Britian to serve, she still loved him, and supported him.
Thomas J. Spears Jr.
Elder Brother l Deceased l Thomas J. Spears Jr. died when Jackson was twelve. His brother, 16 at the time, had gotten involved in a car crash, which was so horrific that it killed his brother. Jackson was deveasted, as he had always looked up to his brother as a role model.
Veronica A. Spears
Younger Sister l Alive l Veronica, Jackson's sister, who is about two years younger, is Jackson's best friend, of course as much as a sister can be. When their brither and father died, they relied on each other to support each other, and their mom. It's his biggest connection, which grows stronger by the year.
Jason S. Sanders
Best friend and fellow comrade l Alive l Ever since Jackson enlisted, their has always been a friendly face. Jason, Jackson's friend since Middle school, who even through the years managed to stay in touch. He enlisted with Jackson, as he knew there was no way of talking him out of it. They had always been close, and their bond has grown as they fight in wars.

Jackson, from a young age, also influenced by his father, loved football. When he moved to the States, he became immersed in the sport. He played with his High School team. He was so good that he got multiple offers from college, and probably could have made it to the NFL, but he gave it all up to join the Military.
He was top of the class in both High School and Boot camp, acing most if not all of his tests. He is great with weapons (as he was taught to hunt by his father). He has been promoted to Sergeant through the years, and hopes to excel and get promoted higher.

Appearance:
Wren is 5'2" and weighs around 113 pounds. She isn't very muscular, but she is very fit and athletic. She has softly defined muscles with a feminine and curvy body. Her combat uniform hugs her body nicely but she still has plenty of room to breathe and move as needed. Her hair is a striking pitch black, so dark that when hit by the light it often casts a navy sheen over the length. She keeps her hair long, but the raven waves are typically confined to a sleek braid or ponytail to keep it from getting into her eyes. Speaking of eyes, hers are a steel grey color. They are bright and captivating and at times appear more silver than grey.
When not in uniform, Wren can typically be found in some sort of dark colored long-sleeve or sweater.
Depending on her attire, a nasty, jagged scar can be spotted running from beneath her collar bone to the top of her shoulder. It was made by a broken beer bottle during her worst fight to date with her father.
As a former ballerina and gymnast, Wren is quite flexible and agile. She prides herself in being able to fit in small spaces as well as in being able to move as quietly as possible. Her hands are small and delicate, and their palms are soft and smooth.
-
Personality:
Wren is a quiet and standoffish type of person. She much prefers to watch from afar than to be in the spotlight. Rather than commanding squads, Wren likes to go off on her own and do her own thing with her own set of tasks. That way there is no one to slow her down or get in her way. She is stubborn and hardheaded, often over working herself to the point of exhaustion despite how it takes ages for her to get to that point.
On top of that, she has a fiery attitude and is full of sarcasm. Getting into a verbal altercation with the tiny woman is rather easy, as she hasn't the slightest idea of how to hold her tongue. She's never afraid to physically fight either, even if her opponent is twice her side.
Wren is extremely honest, hardly ever lying unless it's unavoidable. At times she may dance around the full truth, only telling enough for someone to get an empty shell of an answer.
She is very caring and protective of those she thinks fondly of, often going out of her way to see that they are safe, even if it means putting herself in harms way. She has little to no regard for her own wellbeing, as she views herself as just another disposable human being.
-
Afflictions:
Darcy G. Dubois
Mother | Deceased | Wren's mother is a distant memory to her. She passed away when she was around seven years old from cancer, leaving her with an empty spot in her heart. She still has faint memories of what she was like and the way her hugs felt and the way she smelled, but the emotional connection just wasn't there anymore. Wren grew callous in the absence of her mother, with ballet being the only thing that remained of her.
Greyson R. Dubois
Father | Alive | With the passing of his wife, Greyson took to finding the bottom of every bottle he could get his hands on. Already a rough and calloused man, the presence of alcohol only worsened this. He took out all of his anger and hurt on his two children, often yelling and fighting with them over the most trivial of things. He doesn't have the slightest clue on how to be a "girl dad" which was why he treated his daughter like he did his oldest son; he would push her buttons and make her angry to the point of physical alterations, claiming he was toughening her up for the "real world." In reality, she was just another punching bag for him until she went off to the military.
Bellamy G. Dubois
Elder Brother | Alive | Bellamy is older than Wren by eight years. He was Wren's only safe place and a true confidant, and Wren thinks the absolute world of him. He was the commanding and leading type that she wishes she could have been, but he's also the one who taught her that being so jaded and guarded wasn't a bad thing. In the end and without a doubt, Wren would lay down her life for this man.
Nicholas J. Nelson
Situationship and superior | Alive | Ever since Wren was 18, she and Nick have had an off and on again situationship. Nothing had ever been official between them and first glance they just appear to be old friends, which isn't exactly wrong. They met in highschool, with Nicholas being a few years older than her. He was the type of guy who just enjoyed flirting and hanging out with her, but never pursued her. They essentially became friends with benefits, if you will. On top of that, their relationship is extremely toxic. They just fight each other like fire and gasoline.

Backstory:
From the time that she could properly walk, Wren was enrolled in ballet and gymnastic courses. She kept up both sports until she was well into her late teenage years. Had she not chosen to go into the military at a young age, she would have pursued a career as a prima ballerina or a gymnast of the sorts. However, due to her father's increasing abusive tendencies and the fact she had no where to go, Wren left for basic training as soon as she had gotten her father's signature permitting her enlist.
Highly intelligent, Wren was not only a straight-A student in highschool, but she also aced the majority of her tests and training while at boot camp. It became obvious to her superiors quite fast that Wren was cut out to be a lone wolf and was quite good at sneaking around in places she wasn't meant to be in.

Jackson's small cutting knife slid across the rough wood, breaking off small chips each time. Every once and awgile he would use his small block sander to shave clear and smooth edges, with round edges as well. His focus completely focused on his project, his best friend quietly came in the room. Jason was already dressed in his military issued uniform, the camo making him almost blend into the wall. A smooth hand fell on his shoulder. "How's the project going?" His friend said, staring at the block of wood in Jackson's left hand. He didnt respond as he finished the finishing touches, the face's detail, and the bodies finishing touches. He smiled at his work as he flipped the sculpture over, and carved a simple JS, in yye bottom, in his unigue carving style. Jackson turned around abd smiled, handing his friend his gift, "The best friend I could ever have." He paused, looking over the sculpture one last time. "Here you go." He replied, handing Jason the sculpture. Jason held the statue in his hands and flipped and turned it hand in hand. His buddy had the proudest smile on his face. "Now, this is sick." Jason held the sculture to his face. The sculpture of Jason almost matched Jason completely. "Thank you so much bro." He replied, in his native British accent. Jackson ad somewhat lost his when he had to adjust to American life about 13 years ago. He couldnt believe it was that long. And Jason and Jackson had been friends for even longer.
Jackson's stomach started to rumble, which meant it was almost time to go down to the mess hall. Almost on cue the mess hall bell rung, signaling breakfast. "Lets head down to the mess hall, and we can stop by the racks on the way there." Jason nodded at his response, still admiring Jackson's hard work.
After they made their stop by the racks for Jason to drop off his gift, they made their way down to the mess hall. Jackson's eyes wandered to the Army's promo flyers on the walls, with the tough looking soldiers staring into the distance, warfare blazing behind them. For a second, Jackson almost saw his father in their place, what it would be to have him back. His eyes quickly looked away, nit wanting to stir up any bad memories. "Here we are." Jason said, as he pushed open the doors to the cafeteria. Soldiers lined the small tables, each having a conversation with someone arou d them, their voices ringing and making it hard to hear Jason's voice. The two Sergeants made their way towards the lines, where they each got their meal handed to them on a tray, once they left the line they sat at a nearby table. He bit into his meal, saviring the taste as he knew it would be his last before going on the dangerous mission befote them. As he thought that thought, the Commander, what was his name? Lieutenant Harris came into the mess hall, most likely to tell them about the mission's details

Steady footsteps hit the treadmill track as Wren ran, already pushing four miles. Running was something she always did when war times were high, the stress having no where to go unless she was running or working out in some manner. She rarely got to dance anymore, as all their base offered was a delightful gym and a boxing ring. No where that she could dance in blissful peace while knowing no one was watching or criticizing her. Even then she could feel the presence of someone watching her, their eyes crawling over her skin and picking apart her demeanor.

With a heavy sigh, Wren plucked out her earbuds and slapped the stop button on the treadmill, which had been going for nearly an hour. A slight sheen of sweat coated her fit body, her uniform shirt hugging her top portion while her bottom was clad in the typical camo pants. She turned around to find the last person she wished to see at that moment. Nicholas. They had been into it rather bad as of late, prompting Wren to ignore the man so long it wasn't work related. "Wren. Can we talk for a minute?" Nick asked, straightening up and pulling his eyes to her face. Wren studied him for a moment, a frown lacing her features as she stepped off of the treadmill. "Depends. Are you coming to me as my superior?" She asked, her hands resting on her hips as she waited for her answer. It was obvious that if he said no she'd turn around and walk off, but much to her dismay, Nicholas said yes before leading her away to his office so that they could have a proper private conversation.

"What's going on? Do you have orders for me?" Wren asked before lifting her water bottle to her lips and taking a long sip. Nicholas nodded and folded his hands atop his desk, his face turning serious. This caught Wren's attention since he never appeared this serious with her. She sat straight and put the bottle down, her eyes narrowing as she watched him. "Your skills are about to be put to the test. We have a target for you to watch. One Sergeant Jackson Spears. He is a very talented and respected solider amongst the American military. We believe him to be carrying important information about the next moves the American's plan to take. We need you to watch him and get as close as you can to intercept their radio transmissions without getting caught. Whatever they are planning is big, and we need to be prepared," Nicholas explained, sliding a picture of the man to Wren. She hummed softly, studying it for a moment before slipping it into her pocket. "When do I leave?" She asked, standing up at the same time that Nick did. "Today. Go eat and prepare yourself, I'll fill you in on more later," he told her, his voice now weighing heavier with concern.

"What, Nick? It's just a mission like any other, I'll be fine." Wren rolled her eyes, waiting for whatever smart response he had next. "Except it's not, Wren. You haven't tracked anyone like this before. He can be dangerous to you, and you are authorized to kill him on sight should he display any extreme threat to you. Display caution, Wren. Do not get yourself killed or caught." With that, Nicholas ushered her out of his office and towards the mess hall. What a lovely conversation.

As Lt. Harris stood on the small makeshift podium, Jackson's heart rate began to rise. They hadn't been out on a mission in a while, and his right leg started to bounce in anticipation. Jason too looked intently at the Lieutenant, hoping for any orders he any way to get out of camp. But as the Lieutenant began to speak, he realized it wasn't mission details, just another reminder that they needed to be on edge, ready to fight at any moment. Jackson and Jason both looked at each other in disappointment, before Lt. Harris added another note. "Spears, meet me in my office now. We have something to discuss." Jackson's heart soared. This wouldn't be his first solo mission, but he could feel that it was going to be a tough one, just in the way the Lieutenant 's broad face looked at him, staring at him with his steel gaze. Jason punched him softly in the arm, playfully, not at all violent. "Aww man, you're so lucky." He said in a playful and jealous voice. Jason had never been on a solo mission before, and Jackson had always rubbed it in his face, only because it made him angry. You know, like friend do. Jackson rose from his seat, threw his trash away, and smiled one more time at Jason before walking out of the mess hall and towards the Lieutenant's office.
Lieutenant Carter Harris was not a man to play around with. His gray hair was so slicked back that if you put a match within 2 feet of it, it would catch on fire. He had been on a tour and Afghanistan, and now this was his 6th tour to Canada. He sat at his pine desk, an American flag to his left and an Army flag to his right. His fingers tapped as he waited for Jackson to arrive. Harris had a serious personality, a puppy even wouldn't make him smile. He had steel blue eyes that Whenever he stared at you, part of your soul left your body. He has a darker white skin complexion, with a scar from his first tour in Canada above his left eye. And trust me, yoy tried to avoid him at all costs. He wore his usual green and brown army uniform, the Lieutenant pin placed on the collar of his shirt. And he wore his same semi angry face when Jackson finally walked in. He quickly saluted, and when Harris set him at ease, quickly had a seat in the leather chair. "Jackson." He started, still wearing the same expression on his broad face, his steel gaze tearing into him. "We plan to infiltrate the Canadians tomorrow night. We need a scout, and I know you are the best soldier we have here." He paused for a moment and continued speaking. The Canadians supposedly have a base hidden in the mountains, and we plan to attack there. We need a man to infiltrate their borders, and get inside, and take out the guards so we can open to doors." He paused again, letting Jackson take it all in. "Yoy should then take on the attire of the guards, and patrol their area. And wait til we five you the signal on your radio. Jackson. This is a very dangerous mission. All Canadians need to be seen as dangerous. Yoy have my permission to kill as many as you can. But you must get in." Jackson nodded. Every mission was dangerous. It was something Jackson could handle easily. "Yes sir." Jackson rose, saluted and turned to leave before Harris called him back. "Sergeant Davis will inform you more deeply. But you leave in 2 hours. Good luck."

Eating was the very last thing on Wren's mind. It had been ages since she'd gone on a good mission like this and it was probably the only thing she was feeling entirely excited about. Even if she was just following around one little American, she was glad that there wouldn't be anyone else to get into her way. So many of her special operations got mixed up and failed due to the squad missions getting in her way, but this one should go off without a hitch so long the man never saw her.

Wren hustled about the base, gathering the supplies she'd need for a good few days of wilderness survival. While she was checking over her weapons, which consisted of a standard nine-millimeter and an array of knives, Nicholas appeared again to fill her in on the latest update.

"Lieutenant," she sighed, shifting her gaze to Nick for a moment. He was a man of average height and somewhat stocky build. He had always been the rugged type with as much of a beard that regulations would allow, making the reddish-brown stubble pop against his fair skin. His vibrant blue eyes were the selling feature for Wren, but that annoying voice tore her out of her quiet admiration. "Are you listening, Special Agent Dubois?" He asked firmly, making her stiffen as she looked up at him. "Didn't think so. You're to leave in thirty minutes for the border. Can you be ready?" He asked again, making Wren nod curtly. "Of course. Do I have a certain set of parameters to go by?" She asked as she stashed a throwing knife in each of her grey combat boots. Wren had changed in her time away, having donned a pair of plain black uniform pants that hugged her enough not to hinder movement. Her top was a stretchy black long sleeve with a quarter zip zipper, but once she was leaving she'd have on a thicker jacket well suited for the cold and snowy weather.

"The coordinates for your general location will be listed in this tracking device. Keep a sharp eye, Dubois," he told her, trading over the devices which Wren then properly placed at her hip opposite her hand gun.

She put some gloves on her hands before she shrugged on her jacket, fastening it securely to keep the cold out. Nicholas handed her the small backpack she'd readied and she put it on before giving Nicholas another curt nod and a salute. "I'll radio in as soon as I have eyes on the target. Until then, Lieutenant Nelson."

And with that, she was gone. Wren knew that Nick was expecting a more heart felt goodbye with danger approaching, but Wren wasn't going to give him that. Not when he'd been such a nuisance lately and often expressed he didn't need her. With a heavy sigh, she opened up the device and began to follow the coordinates, fully prepared for whatever life at to throw at her. Or at least, that's what she thought.

(I'm so sorry if this sounds oddly written. I wanna write but my brain is like nahhh^^')

Jackson had began to pack his bag. It was standard issue, green and brown camo, with black straps. Inside he pack everything he thought he would need. Harris had allowed his to take a horse, until he got close to the border. The horse in question was Reckless, a brown steed with a white stripe on his face. Jackson knew him well as he had been on multiple missions with him. Once within three hundred feet of the border, he would jump off, and Reckless would run back. Easy enough. Inside his bag he packed his radio, a GPS transmitter, a 10 ft coil of rope with the grapling tool, another set a clothes and socks, and a couple days with of MRE's, in case the mission lasted more than expected. He pack three smaller bottles of water. After that, he gathered his uniform and put it on, as well as his heavy military issues coat, with the same black and camo. He strapped up his light brown boots, and put on his winter hat, his helmet clipped to his waist. He also clipped his canteen and knife to his belt, as well as his nine-milimeter, and strapped a second to his right ankle. He also cooked his standard issue rifle, and packed extra ammo for all in bkth his pockets and bag. He was about to leave when Jason walked in. He had a jealous expression on his face. "I heard from Thomas that this is supposed to be a good one. Three days? Lucky." He walked to his bunk and retrieved his gun. "Target practice for me, while yoy get the real things." He slipped it into his pocket before saying, "Well bye Jackson." And with that he turned to knave, Jackson saying goodbye as well.
As he neared the stables, Sergeant Davis meeting him there. He is your special tracker. It is both GPS and heat recognition. Use it when you get close to base. If you are comprimosied." He paused and handed him a small button, "hit this, and we will know to attack." Jackson slipped it in his left front pocket, and nodded. Sergeant Davis went over the mission briefing again, before telling Jackson off. Jackson saluted before making his way over to Reckless, who resided in his stable. He walked in and began to saddle him up. "You ready to go boy?" The horse neither in response. As long as it didn't start to snow they would be fine. As Whenever Reckless encounter a snow storm, he would immediately buck of their rider, whether it was Jackson or anyone else. He finished clipping the saddle and putting the bridle in the horses mouth before emulating him. Two probies waited by the stable doors and pushed then open, causing a large gust of cold winter air to sweep in, as well as 30 degree temperatures. His horse hesitated for a moment before realizing there was no snow. Then Jackson kicked his brown side softly, and the two began at a steady canter to where they were supposed to go, the supposed Canadian military base in the mountains.
