Today I bought 5 extra permanent moves (to make it 35) but I got 25 extra moves (renewes to 55 each time). I couldn't have bought it multiple times since I only had the 5 apples for one upgrade.

This is not a bug, this is simply an update.
Eve recently updated the amount of moves that we all get. I assume you're a Basic user.
Previously, Basic users got 30 moves. Recently (like yesterday) that got updated to 50. So now, all Basic users get 50 moves.
Since you bought an extra 5 moves, that still goes on top of the new move update. So, now, you get 50+5=55 moves every time.
(Don't worry, you weren't the only one who was confused when it came out)

Ah, I must have bought it with perfect timing then! When I explored an hour earlier it wasn't there. Thank you very much for your answer! I really wanted to explore but not exploit this "bug".
