Okay so we should establish our characters origins. Your character is a rogue, right? Is he apart of some sort of group? Is he some sort of thief/criminal? How should they meet? Lets discuss the plot in detail. |

ok, so I'm thinking he was part of a rogue group focused on bringing awareness to the corruption in the kingdom but left it after he didn't agree with some of their values. his dad was a royal guard and betrayed his mother, causing her to perish, and he hates all royalty because of this. It's been two months since he left the group and he's been living in an inn with money that he stole from his former groupmates. he steals from people who live a fairly comfortable life, never poor people. he avoids all rich people and often wears disguises when going to the market. I'm thinking they meet when she is escaping the castle late at night, and he agrees to help her find another kingdom to live in (I'm thinking there are about 3 others around our kingdom) |

Sounds good. As for another kingdom to live in, how about we make it to where the previous kingdom has fallen to ruin, most if not all royalty and nobles killed by a revolt, thus the princess escapes and then meets the rogue. And like you said, he helps her seek refuge in another kingdom, perhaps to marry someone of the crown for her safety. |
