Hello! So this is for the digital artists out there. I am a traditional artist and am looking to get into digital art. I've done digital art sparingly, probably five times at the most. As much as I would love to have an iPad or tablet or something of the sort, I can't afford one. So my options are either drawing with my finger on my phone or with my mouse on my computer, which do yall think would be the best? Any other ideas or advice would be extremely helpful :)

Hey, subscribing. I'm a digital artist stuck with a mouse. I find pixal art nice because I am not clicking in all the wrong place and it is easy to erase 1 pixal than try to cover the color and not go out of the lines.

you could try stylus and phone, finger would probably hurt a bit and mouse isn't very precise personally i use a crusty cracked 8th gen ipad with a matching crusty apple pencil that's missing the top ^^

I used a £30 cheap huion tablet for the first idk 5 years of my digital art journey. Much more affordable than an iPad/proper drawing tablet so if this is something you could afford I would highly recommend. Does the job just fine! And it held up well in all that time, I only stopped using it to upgrade.
