One dawn in the month of June, Cooper wakes up to the sound of his team barking. "Hey! What's goin' on? Quite down" His dog team quiets down, but after a couple of seconds, Cooper looks to the leader of the pack. They know this command for, "What's going on?" The dog barks, then stares and paws at the bush. He/She looks up at Cooper, signaling to get his rifle. When Cooper comes out, he unhooks his dogs and creeps to the sorce of the noise. Bt the animal had heard the dogs barks and fled. Cooper signals for his tracking dogs. They quickly find the scent of the animal and lead hm to it. The dogs circle the elk but he soon charges at one of his dogs. He mounts off his horse and runs to his dog, he's able to patch him up, but his horse comes to nuzzle on Cooper, and he slides down the hill. Luckily, his dogs and his horse are very loyal to him. They come slowily down the hill and drag their owner to safety. When Cooper wakes up, he has no idea where he is, and they must survive off the land until someone finds them, or they find their way back home. |
