The rouges have been at peace for hundreds of years, living and trading with nearby packs and clans, and sharing the endless food, water, and shelter. But lately, earthquakes have chased many rogues out of the barn camp that the rogues learned to love. There have been fires, wiping out hundreds of acres of trees, and the rogues begin to lose faith in the world - and each other. The packs and clans become hostile, and borders are drawn, forcing them to send out border patrols every day, which leads to rogues to become hungry and exhausted. As more rules pile on top of the ones that are already there, the animals that make up the rogues are motivated to protest. They are nearly split in their ways, most of the animals that aren't wolves leave. But some stay... and this is what creates the future of The Blood Shed.

~ Rogues do not have to stay in the group, but if they leave, they may not come back again, and they may not go to another clan. They must live the life of a secondary rogue, the animals who roam the lands alone, hunt alone and die alone. ~

~ (This is probably just adding on to being realistic) Please do not make a character that is something crazy. That means no tigers or lions, or any type of large animal that could easily defeat a lone wolf in battle. I am thinking this should take place in Canada or somewhere in there, so normal animals from a place like that (Cougars, Wolves, Foxes, Coyotes, etc). Also, no superpowers. Sharper than average claws and teeth are allowed, but no superstrength or superspeed or something like that. I want to read a semi-realistic rogue roleplay, not a superhero book. ~

~ I don't care what role you are. If you want you can have two of your characters be the Governor and the Mistress, there are no 'large roles' in this, everyone is respected pretty much equally. But your characters may not be mates or have crushes on each other, this causes confusion and honestly concerns me. ~

A Tetrad is a quadruplet of rogues organized by their personality. They each have colors as well. All of the rogues in a Tetrad are the same age, therefore when they all turn two it is a battle to see who will lead the Tetrad. The winner may hold it's head slightly higher than others and 'boss' some of the other rogues around, but they are still treated like a member of the Tetrad.

The Leading Tetrad is made up of the finest, strongest rogues chosen by pride and resemblance, as they are the organization's role models. Genders do not matter, although it is forbidden to mate within the Leading Tetrad. This Tetrad is also known as 'Fire'.

There are currently six Tetrads, not including the Leading Tetrad. These are named after elements, as follows:

Fire - Leading Tetrad, explained above.

Water - Retired elders with the responsibility of choosing the next Leading Wolf if one of them die. They are not chosen, but better yet retired.

Wind - Chosen by the personality trait known as courage, also chosen by speed.

Earth - Chosen by the personality trait known as loyalty, also chosen by strength.

Ice - Chosen by the personality trait known as determination, also chosen by dominance.

Lava - Chosen by the personality trait known as resilience.

Obsidian - The young rogues or newly borns, ones without a Tetrad yet and/or are under one years old.

The rogues don't celebrate much, as they are a group of.. well.. rouges, so they prefer to spend holidays simply trying to catch more food than average. The one holiday they do celebrate is called 'Rhineshire Day', a day contributed to a red fox named Rhinestone. They celebrate by running with the wild horses that go through their territory every year.

Hundreds of years ago, Rhinestone grew up in a small group of rogues near human civilization, learning nearly on her own how to fend for herself and be the best she could be. She grew up to be a muscular fox, and was kicked out due to her 'strangeness'. At age 2.5 she was found roaming around, drinking from a nearby pond, and they took the fox in, teaching her how to be part of a larger organization. Rhinestone became an honored general at 5, and eventually the Sentinel.

After almost a year as a Sentinel, there was a range of 6 cougars that attempted to wipe out the entire group of rogues. Rhinestone, more brave than any of the rogues had ever seen, died after turning two cougars against each other and delivering a death bite to another. The last cougar died, but not before it sank its teeth into the fox which was nearly half the cougar's size.

Rhinestone has been a role model of the rogues for as long as anyone could remember.
