~~BackStory~~ Cats and Dogs aren't always the best to get along. This is the case for the Thorn Pack and the River Tribe. The Thorn pack was made up of several dogs that had escaped long ago and had started the pack. The River Tribe was made up of several cats that had wanted a more free life. After expanding their territories, they became closer and closer together until one day, they met up and the cats started getting a bit too curious. After a few days, a war broke out, forcing every cat and dog to fight for their groups. After 3 long years of fighting, the leaders came together, stopping the fight, as everyone watched in silence. The leaders talked and finally shook paws. They each put a claw mark on the tree, indicating a signature. Then, everyone lined up and put a mark on the tree on their side. They promised to never get in each other's way if the other promised to do the same. Now, 10 years later, they must come together. Humans are forcing them out of their homes and not hesitating to kill. Many have perished, many have been injured, and hearts have been broken, yet they still aren't in each other's way. But now, the survivors must come together to travel to a new home but will they find what they are looking for? Will the humans catch up to them? Will they start another war? Who knows? Nobody trusts each other much but they must stick together, safety in numbers after all but will this be the case or will they be picked off one by one? Will Cats and Dogs finally get along? |

~~Terrian~~ The Pine Forest A long stretch of forest around twenty miles long either way. It is filled with several pine trees, most over 70 feet tall. There are also Oak trees, almost 50 feet tall but some reach high to a height of 80 feet. This forest has several dens abandoned after the commotion about humans coming through, destroying trees. These dens are mainly from wolf packs, fox dens, bear dens, and badger dens. There are several lakes and ponds around the area, including The Northern Rapids, a river that no cat nor dog dare cross. ~~Prey In The Area~~ Rabbits Deer Mice Pheasants Quail ~~Predators In The Area~~ Wolves Bears Foxes Badgers Humans - The Northern Rapids A long river stretching through The Pine Forest. It is around thirty feet long and has very strong currents. It could easily pull a cat or dog under its waves. Once in, you have little chance of coming back out. The riverbank is a bit calmer and dotted with small stones and rocks. It gets a lot stronger about five feet in. It is very dangerous and perhaps a hazard, even the strongest wolf could be killed by these rapids. ~~Prey In The Area~~ Salmon Catfish Bass Rabbits Herons ~~Predators In The Area~~ Bears Wolves Eagles - The White Coral Lake This lake is connected to The Northern Rapids at the end of the forest. It is around ninety-two miles long. It has a long sliver of land leading to a small island in the center of the lake. It is much calmer than the river it's connected to. It has much greenery but is a dangerous place to be. There is the fear of being pushed into the water by a wave, being stuck on the "bridge" during a storm and being taken out to sea, and even the threat of predators getting to you. All is worth it to get to the island and be safe in the mile-long land piece. ~~Prey In The Area~~ Salmon Catfish Rabbits Deer Seagulls ~~Predators In The Area~~ Osprey Eagles Foxes Snakes "Waves" (more of a danger) (idea from Spellbound ^^) |

~~Rules~~ . 1. Follow Eve's rules! 2. This is a semi-literate roleplay so don't make your characters perfect because they aren't and not going to be. I also don't expect huge and long sign-ups. I just need the requirements. You can add what you'd like after you know your requirements are done. 3. NO God-modding. 4. No two-word names (Blackfeather, Grapepaw, etc.) 5. Try to post at least once every two days or so. If you can't for any reason, make sure you PM me. 6. LGBTQ+ is allowed! 7. Cussing is allowed, just don't swear every five seconds. 8. Hate the character, not the player. 9. I'll allow you to redo your form 3 times. 3 strikes and your out. 10. 48-hour or 2-day reservations. That's all the time you get. 11. NO Pictures. I don't want this forum to get locked. 12. 4 characters ONLY. No exceptions. You can not have all characters in one group. You are only allowed to have two in each group (ex. 2 cats, 2 dogs.) 13. Romance is allowed and the leaders/co-leaders don't have to be dating/mates. 14. I'd say your cat/dog has to be at least a mix of two breeds or more though I will accept a few purebreds. 15. 100+ words in the RP. I expect 100+ for appearance and personality. 16. ~~Roles~~ . The Leaders The leaders are the ones who lead, there are two for each group, so four leaders in all. They are mates for life unless one is killed. They lead by example and are always to be obeyed. Whatever they say goes, no one is to say otherwise. They are the ones who lead and if they are sick, the co-leaders will take charge. They tend to be around 3 years or older. The Co-Leaders The Co-Leaders are the best friends of the Leaders and do not have to be mates. There are two from each group and they will take control if the Leaders are busy. They lead patrols and hunts. They will also arrange times for the warriors to clear the area. They tend to be around 3 years or older. The Healers There are two healers, one from each group. They can be of either gender and they are experienced in the art of herbs and healing others. They know poisonous plants from non-poisonous plants. They tend to be a bit older at five or more. The Patrollers The patrollers go out every day before leaving their previous site and after settling n for the night to confirm their safety. There are four, two from each group and are led by the co-leaders. They are usually older than the age of two and a half. The Hunters The hunters always wait till the patrollers return, hunting after safety is confirmed. They are usually led by the co-leaders. There are around four, two from each group. They are usually 2 and older. The Warriors The warriors are the fighters or protectors of the group. They are experienced in fighting and are usually quite agile. They are usually three and older with four warriors, two from each group. During every hunt, they will follow close behind, watching them for any predators a bit farther from their camp. The Elders The elders are well taken care of and respected in both groups. They don't do much but are allowed to watch the fighters and hunters practice, giving them tips and pointers. They are usually eight and older, any number of elders are allowed. The Apprentices The apprentices are the younglings and are usually being taught to hunt, patrol, and fight. After the leaders watch them after all of their lessons at about the age of one, they decide what will suit them best and they will train in that rank until they are old enough to participate. Their training usually starts at five months. There is a max of ten apprentices, so five (or less) per group. The Mothers These are all of the females who are either expecting or have kittens/pups. They are protected and spend around five months with their children. They are well protected and watched over during the day and the warriors lay just around them, keeping them inside the circles as protection. Any number but there is a max of six, so three per group at the most. The Pups/Kittens The pups/kittens are of any age from a few weeks to five months. They don't do much and stay very close to their mothers at all times. They are protected and very important to keep safe from the humans. They can not adventure too far from their mother unless a warrior, co-leader, or leader is with them or requests them. This can be any number as long as they have a mother. . ~~Group Rules~~ 1. Whatever the leaders or co-leaders say goes. 2. Any predator in the area should be killed or chased off immediately . 3. When traveling, mothers and kittens/pups will be directly in the center, being led by the co-leaders and leaders. Everyone else follows behind. 4. Eating order: Mothers, Kits/Pups (if eating meat), Elders, Apprentices, Leaders, Co-Leaders, Healers, Patrollers, Hunters, Warriors 5. Wake up at dawn or before for all ranks except mothers and kittens/pups. Also, be in camp by sundown unless told not to. 6. No one will disrespect the Elders as they know most. If so, the worst punishment could be exiled although that would only be by hurting them physically. 7. Apprentices are to be taught once per day by each rank. Sunrise: Patrolling Practice, Midday: Hunting Practice, and Sunset: Fighting/Warrior Training. If the healers aren't busy, they will take a few apprentices, the max being 3 at a time, from any group at any time since they are usually working on herbal work or looking for herbs needed for something. 8. Every night, warriors will take turns keeping watch, waking each other a forth-way through the night as everyone watches once per night. Turns will be taken as everyone will have a turn to keep watch at a certain time. |

Breeds: Australian Shepherd and Border Collie Appearance: Shep is 46 inches tall and weighs around 51 pounds. She has long black fur with blue merle spots. Her tail is black and around 6 inches long with a white tip. She has a white scruff around her neck and white on her chest and her belly. Her head is a silvery blue with a mix of black dots. She has a white stripe down her face that leads to her black nose. Her eyes are a light blue with a dark blue ring around them. Shep has one white ear and a black ear. Her left ear folds down as her right ear stands straight up. She has scars mainly down her legs and a few across her muzzle. Her largest scar was when she had been attacked by a larger dog as a pup. Personality: Shep is very kind to those in her pack. She can be aggressive and uncaring to outsiders for they aren't in the pack or those who she doesn't trust. Shep doesn't seem too friendly until you get to know her. Once you do, she is kind and playful. Shep does tend to have a nipping habit, although it is just her breed's instinct. She likes to play when she isn't on duty. Once on duty, she is focused and watching, keeping her instincts locked deep inside to survive. There is no room for error when you are being hunted and forced out of your home. If you can't focus, no food will be provided and the pack will become weaker. Shep tries her hardest and has good stamina. She also has fairly good speed, although she does run out of energy sometimes. Shep doesn't usually show her feelings. If she is sad, she will keep it inside of her. The only feelings she will show (and usually does) are her anger and happiness. Other than those two, her feelings stay inside. This is why others can have a hard time trusting her because she doesn't express what she's truly thinking or feeling. She does tend to be a bit more expressive to her close friends or close packmates. She weighs 90 pounds and stands at 4'6" which is pretty big for her breed but it is more of a genetic defect in her. Willow's main color seems to be black with light brown and regular brown markings. Her ears are floppy from the golden retriever side of her. She has green eyes and lean legs with broad shoulders. Her tail is black on the top of it but under it the color is Brown.
