Aurelius,
That is amazing omg.

I don't know too much about the party I'm essentially crashing- but I know there's a cow person paladin, a dude that's literally inhaling crystals, and I know that it's based in hell. So the party is a mix of souls and players that aren't actually dead yet that somehow ended up in hell.

Name:

Bodhi Kazan Ariti

𝓂𝑒𝒶𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔: 𝐵𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈𝑒𝒹 𝒶𝓌𝒶𝓀𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔

(very ironic, I know)

Age:

22

Gender:

Male

Pronouns: he/him

Sexuality*:

Bisexual

Appearance:

Despite his human nature, Bodhi walks with an aura of a demon, or some other dark and unsettling form. When walking the streets, he is often avoided by young ones, and even some of the older children hang back at his seemingly ghastly presence. His skin is pale, almost deathly so, and despite nearly every moment of the day he walks the streets, but the sun seems to barely touch his ghostly flesh. His porcelain skin is something he prizes, obsesses over, even. He takes great care to keep his hands unmarred as possible. His back is nearly covered in scars, but he never speaks of where he gained these. He seems to thrive in the moonlight, when he stalks the streets, seeming even more devilish than he does in the sun.

His eyes are the colour of bitter coffee, dark, and unyielding, framed by strangely feminine eyelashes. He has high cheekbones, and a jawline sharp enough to cut diamonds. His dark hair is cut raggedly, longer on the top, and cut close around his skull on the sides. He has a lean, muscular build, and stands around 5'11. His shorter stature leaves people uneasy, wondering if his height is going to leave him at a disadvantage to them, or whether he will use it against them. He often speaks in a low, raspy voice, which doesn't quite seem to match his face, nor his age. His lips are round and full, a dusky rose colour. Despite the fact that they are often turned down in a frown, when he does smile, it lights up his whole face, causing one small dimple in his left cheek to appear. He is rather self-conscious of this feature, and this is a tiny part of the reason he normally chooses to keep his emotions hidden.

Bodhi dresses quite classily, in dark fabrics, often accentuated with gold or silver designs stitched in, such as paisleys (his personal favorite), roses, and feathers. These threads are usually hidden amongst the dark ones, causing the light to seemingly sparkle off the black and dark grey threads, which adds an air of mystery that he likes quite a bit. He has a tattoo on the back of his neck, a crow in flight, and a tiny sun on his right thumb. He has no piercings or any other man made marks upon his body, besides his scars. He normally stays as covered up as he can, in suits to rival Armani. Bodhi is rather broody, and often his face shows no emotion, besides a bit of a frown.

He walks with a slight limp, due to a childhood injury, and is highly irritated at this. He tries to act as though it doesn’t pain him at all, but once one knows him well, it is easy to catch the slight grimaces, and flashes of pain in his eyes.

Personality:

Bodhi isn't really that well known by anyone. He's mostly closed off, and those who don't know him well are eager to spread rumors.

Often described as cold and ruthless, Bodhi is willing to do almost any job for the right amount of money. He is rather manipulative and conniving, and is keen to let others know that he is in control of any situation. He is quick witted, and always has a trick up his sleeve, unless he's with someone he trusts with his life. He isn't a huge fan of trust, and will exploit almost anyone for his gain. Despite this, he is fiercely loyal to those he does love and trust, and once his trust is gained, it is not easily broken.

Bodhi is normally aloof and indifferent, hiding his true emotions behind a cool façade. However, he holds grudges close to his heart, and vengeance is practically his hobby. There isn't much you can do to rattle him, besides strong emotions. If someone is crying, or honestly feeling anything too strongly in front of him, he gets skittish and unwieldy. This stems mostly from his traumatic childhood, and he struggles with the fact that he doesn't really feel anymore.

One of Bodhi's biggest fears is mirrors. As a child, he learned to dislike his own appearance, and although he takes great pride in it now, he prefers to do as much of it as possible. This fears also comes from his uneasiness with how mirrors distort images, making him on edge with how appearances are not always what they seem.

Bodhi sometimes comes off as paranoid and lost in his own mind, he is good at riddles, problem solving, and is quite the perfectionist. When he finds his crowd, he is slightly more easy going, but for the most part, he prefers to be left with those select few, rather than in a group setting.

Bodhi awoke at dawn, the pale rays of early morning sun creeping through the rough windows of the barracks. His fellow soldiers were also starting to rouse themselves, and he stretched, quickly rising from his cot. With practiced efficiency, he straightened his small area of the long building, and sighed as he grabbed his shirt. This was his least favorite part of the morning. The young men all hurriedly filed out of the barracks, down to the river close to the castle. A thin layer of ice was over the water, and as the young soldiers filed into the icy depths, there were whoops and hollers. Bodhi followed one of his friends in, hissing slightly as the river flowed around him, and the ice cracked and slipped away. He ducked under the water, and came up, gasping at the shocking cold. His friend Ian laughed at the cold, barely even noticing it.
As Bodhi followed Ian back up to the barracks, drying off with a rough towel, and dressing in his usual loose tunic with a chest plate over it, and his soft linen britches for peace time. Just as he was finishing toweling off his damp locks, one of the squires came running up to him, and told him that the commander requested his presence. Bodhi frowned. There was a lot of reasons the commander would want to see him, and none of them were ones he particularly wanted to deal with at that time. He huffed a slightly whiny sigh, and headed off to the commander's headquarters, a small room in the front of the soldier's quarters. Bodhi stepped inside, giving the proper salute to his high ranking officer, and leaned uneasily on the chair. "The squire said you called?" He listened carefully as his commander explained that the king was searching for a personal escort for the princess, and gave him the details, as well as informing him that he would be going before the king for review.
The young soldier stumbled out of the office, his head spinning. He hadn't seen the princess in over a decade, but before that...they had been thick as thieves. Bodhi's father was a high-ranking lord, so as a child, he'd had free rein over most of the court, playing in the fountains and other ridiculous things. He'd played with other little lords, and the princess had often joined them in their games of pretend war, pirates, fencing and more. Times had changed, though. After he turned ten, his father had sent him off to be a squire, and then he hadn't been back to the actual palace for a long time. Bodhi ran a hand through his dark hair. He'd changed physically too. He'd gone from a skinny boy, so pale that you could trace the veins up his arms, into a tall, muscular young man with the weight of real wars on his shoulders.
He shook his head. Those days were long over, and best forgotten anyways. He nodded to the commander, and went to the stables, rapidly saddling his usual mount, a heavy, sure-footed mountain steed. Bodhi rode quickly, he was used to the rise and fall of a horse over rough terrain, and took it in stride. After a short time of riding, he watched the palace come into view. It looked the same as it had all those years before, when he'd been in a carriage, holding back tears as the only life he'd ever known was ripped away. He rode into the courtyard, and swept of the equine with the grace that marked his person, and made his way to the door of the great hall, where he would address the king. He paused outside to compose himself, and stared at the heavy wooden doors. What would the king say after all these years? Would the Princess be there? The last question was less important in his mind, although he was curious to see how the years apart had changed her as well. He wondered if the kitchen girl, Estella, had ever had her wish and was now a lady-in-waiting. Perhaps this would be a good position for the young knight. He was now quite curious to see what his old playmates had gotten up to.

The morning rays of sunlight rained down in soft streams upon the town below. Merchant's voices filled the air as they called out to sell their goods. Fabrics, spices, crops, everything you could ever ask for could be found. The Kingdom of Reyes was known for their bountiful trading, being only a days trip from the sea and its ports, the capitol was always bustling with merchants. Colorful tents lined the cobblestone streets, a rainbow upon the eyes who looked down the lane. Although this lively city was filled with many people of all different ethnicity, genders and ages, there was one person here who was out of place as always. The Princess.
Adalia was known for her adventures out of the castle walls, her adventurous mind feeling trapped when inside. She was known very well by the towns people, always some where to be found in the city whether it be shopping or even helping. Some days she gathered supplies for a project she had in mind, other days she was helping to gather crops and set up shops. These were her people, she knew one day she would rule them so for now, she wanted to help while she could. She knew once the position of Queen was taken, there would be no more volunteer work.
Today was just like every other for her, a stroll through town while trying to stay hidden and avoid the guards who roamed on horseback. Adalia kept her dressing simple when in town, a plain dress and a black cloak to hide her identity, mainly just from the guards. She casually passed through the vendors, her eyes scanning the goods and wares being offered. Many knew her and kept calm, helping hide her identity. Today Adalia was searching for fabrics, wanting a new dress for the winter ball that was always held. She knew of a merchant who had a fabric that would be just perfect for the main part of the dress, now she just needed some accents. It was not long before she had found the older woman, greeting her with a bright smile and hug. She had always been so kind to her, delivering anything she needed and saving the best quality for her. Once Adalia had ordered her fabrics, she paid her greatly, letting her know she would send a servant to gather her items the following day.
Adalia's objective was complete, just in time as well. Soon she felt a stern hand upon her arm, causing quite a shock at first. As she turned she was greeted by guards on foot, one shaking their head. Adalia sighed softly in defeat, knowing her mother would have a stern talk with her later.
"M'Lady, you must return back home, do you not remember you have a visitor arriving today?" The guard said as he let go of her arm, the group escorting her back towards the castle. Adalia looked to the guard, gasping softly. That was correct, she had completely forgotten. She had been so preoccupied with her projects and studies she forgot she had been informed of this visit a few days prior. She had no clue who it was, and she prayed it was not another suitor waiting for her hand, she could not bare to deal with any more.
- 2 Hours Later -
Adalia had been safely returned back to the castle that morning, of course met by her mother at the main hall who was not so pleased with her recent escape. She said nothing, giving her a look of disapproval before waving her hand and disappearing down the stone corridors. Adalia's lady-in-waiting, Estella, waited for her patiently, following the princess as they too went down the stone corridors.

"I do not understand why I must be locked inside these cold walls every single day" Adalia huffed as they made their way to her chambers. Her heels clicked against the stone floors quickly, arms swaying at her sides. Her day had been going so perfect, only to be ruined by some suitor who would fail and waste her time.
Estella knew to keep quiet in these situations, let Adalia blow off some steam. She knew the princess all to well. As they made it to Adalia's chambers, two other maids were waiting. A stunning gold and white dress was ready for the princess, the gold details glittering in the sunlight that filtered through the room. The visitor would be there soon, so it was time to get ready, it was not a quick task to prepare the princess for such occasion. Her mother always wanted her daughter to look the best, to look like proper royalty.
As the minutes passed, Adalia was dressed, her hair that had been messily tied up with strays a strewn now redone in a beautiful and elegant curled fashion. Jewelry adorned her soft skin, her necklace accentuating her sharp collarbones. Finally the finishing touch was added, her crown. The stunning art piece was made of pure gold and white diamond, matching the dress that fit against her slender frame. She was a work of art as her mother and father would say, although Adalia would rather wear something much simpler.
Once the Princess was presentable, she heard the trumpets just in time announcing a visitor was approaching. Sighing softly she thanked her maids, quickly hurrying down the halls and to the throne room where her parents awaited her. She took her seat in between her parents, a sign she was next in line for the throne. Her father looked to her with a smile as always, even though this was his plan, he could never stay mad at his daughter. Meanwhile her mother on the other hand tapped her shoulder, looking over her posture.
"Sit straight, shoulders back" her mother said, adjusting her seat at the large wooden doors opened. Adalia was ready to ignore the stranger who entered the room, ready for it to be some older man or young prince forced to ask for her hand. A look of boredom sat on her face, that was until her eyes scanned the man who entered the room. It couldn't be. Her mouth gaped just every so slightly, eyes widening a bit as she watched the man bend at the knee, addressing the royals in front of him. Adalia collected herself, knowing her mother was watching, but her heart pounded through her body. It was Bodhi.

Bodhi had stepped into the Great Hall, and was immediately hit with another feeling of extreme familiarity. How many times had he and his playmates scampered through this room, playing tag, or hide-and-seek? How many times, when the king was away, had they clambered onto the throne, and pretended to be the Sovereign of Reyes? Countless times, that was for certain. He closed his eyes for a second, taking a deep breath, pushing the nostalgia away. It was now a short walk to the proper place before the dais where the Royal Family sat, and he pulled forth years worth of etiquette lessons that had been spurned greatly as a child.

He bowed deeply, crossed his right arm across his chest, pausing for a moment, then straightened. "My lord," he said, keeping his eyes lowered. This man, who he'd once considered to be almost a father, was no longer anything like that to him, and it hurt his heart to realize that it was truly time to walk away from what he considered his best of days. The King himself had changed as well, he was no longer the young, spry man that Bodhi had kept so close in his memory. Despite his best efforts, a memory floated to the front of his mind: the young king chasing them through the hallways, Bodhi clutching at Ian's shoulders, trying to pull him along faster, the small princess close on their heels. He cleared his throat, trying to repress the onslaught of echoes from times long past. "Commander Chalikov told me to come before you," he said, his voice low and raspy.

He tried to listen to the King's words, he really did. But he was distracted by the others in the room. He didn't bat an eye at the Princess. She barely looked any different than he remembered. The Queen Mother looked precisely how she always did, and a smile quirked his lips slightly. He'd never felt like the Queen cared for him particularly, but she was kind enough to step in when it was necessary, and he appreciated the many life lessons she had offered to him and his companions in their young, impressionable years. The one who caught his attention the most was Estella. She was standing by the door, and he had to work hard to hide his grin. So she had gotten her dream, or at least close to it. He wanted to run to her, congratulate her. It was something he had prayed for every evening, hoping that his cheerful, quiet compatriot had found a way to become all that she deserved to be.

Estella caught his eye, and frowned, clearly trying to tell him to listen to the words of his sovereign. He choked back a sigh, and slowly raised his gaze to study the dais. The King was finishing some pleasantries, and had moved in to the reason why Bodhi had been summoned in the first place, which caught the young knight's attention. To his utter dismay, the monarch was discussing why his daughter was being too carefree in a dangerous world, and how she was in need of a personal escort. He couldn't hide the horror in his eyes, and he stared at the floor to hide it. He knew that now, there was nothing he could do about it, but inside he was dying.

He had trained for years to get into the Fourth Battalion, one of the hardest troops to get into. He had left his home, his friends at only ten years old, and studied strategy and warfare for two years, rising before dawn, and staying up late into the night to be able to pass his classes before many other students. Then, he had gone out into the fields of real wars, risking his life for the country of Reyes, never once considering himself more important than any of his comrades. After nearly five years, he had finally been offered a position with the other young men in the Fourth Battalion, and it was one of his proudest achievements. He had quickly risen through the ranks there, and was well on his way to being able to take over from Commander Chalikov when the time came. And now, that was all going to pot.

He swallowed hard, and rubbed his eyes, then quickly fixed his face into a neutral expression, his eyes cold and hooded. "I am honored by your order, My Lord," he muttered, bowing again. After a few more quick exchanges with the King, Bodhi was ushered out, being taken to be fit for new armor, and then his new position would take effect in the afternoon. His shoulders slumped as his stepped out of the Great Hall, barely seeing the stone floor of the castle through his lowered lashes.

Her mind raced at the very sight of Bodhi standing there, here, home once again. He had grown so much from that scrawny boy she would fight with when she was younger. Back then she had the chance to beat him in there imaginary battles, but now, there was no chance at all. Adalia knew she had to collect herself, she had to remember her years of training, knowing her mother was watching each breath and movement. Adalia adjusted her seat slightly, placing her hands in her lap, hiding her thumb that twirled behind her enclosed fingers. Years she had thought about him, her best friend being taken away with no explanation had haunted her for ages, this had to be a dream.
Adalia was in her own world, stuck in her mind as she always was daydreaming. She had tuned out all of her fathers words, knowing as always it was his normal, "We are so glad you have arrived" and "I hope the travel here was pleasant". She knew how he spoke, listening to his speeches all year round. So while her father spoke of the Kingdom and life, she watched as the young knight glanced carefully around.
Adalia's calm and content expression she kept on her face to mask her true emotion soon melted to the ground as her sharp ears picked up on her fathers words. Her eyes snapped to him, heart racing as the rather plump man stood, waving his hands as he spoke. Her stomach dropped to the floor as he explained the reasoning for Bodhi's visit.
"My daughter seems to forget she is the heir to this throne, that she will rule this Kingdom when time comes. She puts herself in childish danger, sneaking out beyond the safety of these stone walls. She mingles with anyone she sees, helps in the fields miles from here. She puts herself in the front lines of danger. My guards cannot keep up with her anymore, so I bring you here today in hopes that an old friend may be able to succeed. Someone who knows how she thinks."
Adalia's soft expression changed as her brows furrowed, her fair skin gaining a hint of red as anger filled her veins.
"Father!" She spoke harshly, standing from her seat in the throne. "This is ridiculous, I am not a child" She added. Her hands sat at her side in fists as she looked her father in the eyes, ignoring those who looked on. "You know I can easily protect myself, I am not stupid when I am gone" She added, defending herself. Though with her outburst, the King raised his hand, hushing her. This caused flames to burn inside of Adalia, the fact she was being treated as if she was incompetent fed the fire. Adalia was known for her temper, she always had been, that is why her nickname growing up was "Little Dragon". And of course like always when Adalia was mad, she stormed off before she said something hurtful.
The girl held her skirt, her heels rapidly clicking against the marbled floors as she passed by the confused knight who looked as if he was being sentenced to death. She gave him no recognition or even a glance as she passed by. The guards scrambled to open the doors, just in time for Adalia to slip into the stone corridors once more, disappearing before anyone had a chance to start after her.

Bodhi flinched slightly as the princess stalked out of the Great Hall, even before he was ushered out. He frowned slightly. He knew their friendship was long over, especially since they hadn't seen each other in years, but it was a blow to him that she wouldn't even look at him. His eyes flashed to Estella and he managed to give her a smile, as he hurried out of the room.
"Stella," he mouthed. "Is she always like that?" To his further dismay, the handmaiden nodded, who was already heading out after the hot headed princess. Bodhi went down to the kitchens, one of his favorite places in the castle, and somewhere everyone was always accepted. He stepped through over the threshold, and was immediately accosted by the cook, who pinched his cheeks and immediately got back to her work, thumping bread dough, and checking on the state of the dinner. Bodhi went to his old corner, plopping down between the cupboards and a wall, and wiggled a brick loose. Behind it was a small leather bag full of tiles. Throughout his childhood, he'd found solace in playing the tiles, starting elaborate designs with his friends, and pushing them over.
Subconsciously, he started building a pattern that spiraled around him, trying to remember what he knew about the princess. He knew she'd always been quite the spitfire, and honestly wasn't surprised that it hadn't been trained out of her. He still remembered the day before he left, when he'd been trying not to cry, not wanting to be pulled away from his comrades and easy life, and the princess and Ian had both reassured him, and they had all sworn to never change. That certainly hadn't been true for him. He bowed his head. He'd gone from being an absolute scarecrow of a boy, to an agile soldier, who seemed to all but dance on the battlefield. Ian had changed too. He had witnessed death and pain, and had lost his childhood innocence that Bodhi had loved in his friend. He honestly wasn't sure about Stella. She seemed about the same to him, though he wasn't really able to talk to her yet.
The cook pressed a warm apple tart into his hands reassuringly, telling him how they'd have to fatten him up again, and he smiled up at her, trying to hide the roiling emotions inside of him. What was he going to do? There was nothing he could do, honestly. He gently bumped the tile next to him, and watched the pattern fall into a pile, the tiles softly clicking on each other and the stone floor. He quickly gathered them up, and tucked them back into the dusty alcove. He kissed the cook's cheek with his sweetest smile, and headed back up the wandering staircases. He knew where he was going, nothing had changed in the years he'd been gone.
"Six doors down," he murmured to himself, carefully counting down the hallway, pausing outside the sixth one. He stopped outside of it, feeling his heart sink. It felt like hours ago that he'd paused similarly outside the doors to the Great Hall, but in truth it had only been one or two. He gently knocked on the door, and Stella opened it. He barely restrained himself from saying her name. Instead, he nodded politely and stood right outside the door, not setting one foot inside. "Lady Adalia," he said slowly, turning his emotions off completely, his voice cool. "I know this wasn't your choice, but I have orders from the Sovereign. I would never intrude on your privacy, so I will remain in the hall beside your door."
He could already feel his happiness waning. He didn't want to lose the happy memories of his childhood because of new angsty young adult former playmates. Bodhi flicked a piece of hair out of his face, and turned around, leaning lazily against the wall. What was going to happen now? Would he ever go back to the Fourth? He was already missing his soldier life, he'd be training right now. Why would the King do this to him? Why would the Commander do this to him? To someone who didn't know him, he looked relaxed and bored, which he partially was. But to those who knew him, they could catch the tension in his jaw, the strong lines of his muscles under the creamy tunic, and his half-lidded eyes scanned the hallway for anything that would entertain him or possibly be a threat.

Adalia felt as if she was going mad as her mind raced, fighting with the thoughts that stormed like a hurricane in her mind. Stella kept her distance, walking a few feet behind the princess as they made it through the corridors to her room. The Princess pushed open the doors to her room, the sun illuminating the the red colored walls with golden accents, giving a soft hue to the area. Stella closed the doors behind them, sighing softly as she watched the princess begin to pace the length of the room. This again was normal. Ever since a child, Adalia was one to over think and over work her mind, always trying to handle things for herself and create a perfect outcome. Sometimes it was destined to fail, but she couldnt accept it.
"I dont understand. Im not a child, I do not need some man to watch my every moves. I can protect myself, I have these ten plus years Stella." Adalia ranted. She was grateful for her friend, she was always there for her to calm her mind, to give her reason and answers. She also let her blow off steam by letting her thoughts out. By now, Bodhi had to be at her door, but she did not know.
"How can father just have him back like nothing ever happened? They told me months after he left that he ran off and no one knew where he was. I thought he was dead or long forgotten us. They lied and now expect everything to be okay? And to make him my babysitter?" She said. Her cheeks were red against her fair skin as she went on, slowing down her steps as she neared her bed. She let her arms drop to her side as she fell back, the soft bedding bunching around her as she let out a deep sigh.
"I never asked for any of this" She whispered to herself as she stared at the ceiling. It was a few moments of quiet, letting her mind settle as she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Her mind quieted down, just for a moment before she heard a knock against the wooden door. She glanced as Stella opened it, standing up and adjusting her dress. She picked up the crown the had fallen off her head, placing it back on as she had no idea who was at the door. That was until she heard his voice.
She sighed softly, knowing she would have to face it, her father would never change his mind.
Stella glanced back after Bodhi spoke, looking to Adalia for permission. With that, Adalia nodded, placing her hands in front of her as she adjusted her posture. It was trained in her, even if he used to be her friend, the formality had changed and teh spark of lessons in her head reacted, forcing her into a regal posture.

It took Bodhi officially two minutes to be bored and frustrated to the point that he flicked a dagger into the soft molding above the door, and didn't hesitate to push it open, walking inside. His face remained carefully schooled in a neutral expression, but his coffee coloured eyes were full of emotion. "Look," he said coolly. "I don't care what you say. I have my duties, and that is my first priority. Right now, that means protecting you. Neither of that particularly want that, but that's what has to happen." He finished up his little speech, and was rather proud of himself for addressing the obvious tension in the room, given his immense dislike of feelings and talking to women.
He sighed as Stella burst into giggles beside him. "For gods sake, Stella," he groaned. "What now?" He listened as she good-naturedly teased him for practically turning into a mini version of the Commander, which made him grimace. He knew that was true, at least to a point, and he hide his slowly flushing cheeks. Stella's laugh was warm and clear, and he couldn't help but laugh along with her. "Fine," he conceded. "So I've changed a bit. So have you, Miss Estella Inez. Or are you a lady now?" He teased sarcastically, playfully flicking a piece of hair out of her face. "I can still best you in chess, hide-and-seek, and riding."
Stella smirked. "I bet I could beat you in chess," she argued cheerfully. "And swimming." Bodhi gasped dramatically. "I highly doubt that. I swim every morning, for quite a while. Fencing also helps one's endurance, young lady!" The two bantered for a few minutes, both feeling quite at ease. For a moment, it was as if Bodhi had never left, as if they were back to being seven years old, arguing in the parapet. Then Stella's eyes dropped as she realised that they had been excluding the Princess, and she quickly turned to her, dropping a polite curtsy. "Sorry, My Lady."

Adalia stood still as Bodhi entered the room, a clear mission on his mind. She kept hold of her position, watching as he stood, looking her in the eyes. So many emotions ran through her, part of her wanted to hug him, how she had missed him in the back of her mind, the other wanted to slap him for leaving. She knew she could do neither of these, so she kept quiet, wanting to hear what he had to say.
She listened to his words as he said them clear, her brows furrowing ever so slightly. She caught herself tho, keeping the deep breath she had in her chest as he stated his duties. She hated the idea of this, but she knew he could no disobey her father.
As he finished, she opened her mouth to say something, her hadns uncrossing from eachother. She stopped though as she looked to Stella, her cheeks gaining color as she erupted into giggles. Her mouth closed softly as she watched the two banter between each other, the corners of her lips tugging into a smile. Memories flooded her mind of the two, how they would banter every day about something. The two always tried to one up each other, to find something that the other was not good at and gaining the skills. The two hadn't recognized that while they went back and forth, Adalia's smile grew, the sinking feeling in her stomach dissapating.
She was snapped from it when the two looked back to her tho, realizing that they had completly ignored to royal in the room to joke around. Adalia was quick to put her trained face back on before they realized, watching Stella curtsey and her smile fade.
The Princess was quiet for a minute, looking over Bodhi, as if taking in his words, studying him. Letting her hands drop to her side she turned, walking away from them slowly, each step against the cold floor sending a sharp click, as if a clock was ticking. She grasped her hands softly behind the small of her back as she looked out the large window, her face hidden from them, hiding the smile that now played at her lips once more. To them, this seemed serious, as if they had offended her, that was until she spoke.
"I am still much better at archery than the two of you"
That was the one thing none of them could beat her at. She was skilled with the bow and arrow, always showing off as a child. Each of them had their skills, and this was Adalia's beside her artwork. Yes Bodhi could beat her in swordsmanship and running, Stella in riding and swimming, but archery? It was as if she had the eyes of a hawk.
Adalia finally turned, revealing the smile that held her soft pink lips, chucklign softly as she watched the uneasy expressions on the two before her change.
