Species: Archaeornithomimus
Diet: Herbivore

Height: 2,3 m
Weight: 49kg
Length: 3,4 m

_____________

Physical Appearance:

Vortok in question is distinct from his peers in having a smaller snout and tail. He has a light beige colored base, broken up by black hands and limbs. He is adorned with an intricate pattern of greyish beige that is interrupted by a black streak at the eyes, followed by an orange crest and a yellow stripe that curves up its back. This coloration provides a rich tapestry of complexity and variation, making Vortok that stand out from his counterparts.

_____________

Characteristics:

But drill down deeper and you'll find a creature who easily gives in to the pressures of the worsening situation. Despite his might and stature, this strength is simply a mirage - an image of invincibility that crumbles and disintegrates in the face of uncertainty. Vortok exhibits a strong sense of guardianship, one that is seen and felt throughout his herd. His sharp eye and reflexes catch signs of danger and predators before anyone else, so he can guide his herd to safety without delay. He is seen as a leader among his peers - his courageous demeanor encourages admiration and respect, and he is not afraid to wield his power in the name of peace and order. While maintaining power, he does not use it aggressively - his mellow demeanor quells any rising tensions, enabling a tranquil environment in the herd.

Rama

Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female
~
Herd: The Archaeornithomimus Herd
Rank: Very low ranked. Somewhere at the bottom.
Species: Archaeornithomimus
~
Appearance:
Rama is named after her color, being a dark brown like the bark in a deciduous forest. Her attractiveness is low due to being a low ranked dinosaur, and her unusually dull colors, even for a female. Her underbelly and jaw colors fade into a dark beige color, but they're the only different colored spots on her. Her eyes are a bright yellow color, with tiny streaks of amber around her pupils. She has a more slim build, rather than the thin yet strong build of an average archaeornithomimus.

Vortok

Vortok moved with an elegance that astounded all who looked upon him. His long, slim legs carried him across the vast grassland with an effortless grace that seemed to defy gravity. His streamlined shape seemed almost ethereal, bathed in the warmth of the sun's embrace. A testament to the union of colors that decorated his body, the diverse palette mixed harmoniously, from nightly greys to serene whites, turning him into an embodiment of his natural surroundings. Vortok skilfully plucked green mouthfuls of leafy vegetation with beguiling accuracy, savoring the delicate shoots and foliage at a leisurely pace. His supple neck oscillated periodically, enhancing his majestic mien as he effortlessly collected sustenance from the undulating embrace of nature. The amiable hum of his feeding intermittently disrupted the stillness of the grassland, which served as a comforting canticle within the celestial backdrop of nature's magnum opus.

Vortok's attentive gaze stubbornly stayed put, studying the horizon intently despite his delight in the succulent vegetation. His extraordinary, caramel-dusted irises provided him with an unprecedented lookout, permitting him to detect even the subtlest indications of potential peril looming on the horizon.

A seemingly endless stretch of golden grassland extended before him, its undulations resembling ocean waves as they lapped against the horizon. Towering tufts of grass swayed in the light breeze, producing dramatic shadows that glided across the rolling topography. A colorful array of wildflowers dotted the vista, infusing the rippling landscape with a kaleidoscope of dazzling hues. The beauty of the majestic panorama left him breathless and humbled by the vibrant allure of nature's design.

Vortok could hear the gentle foraging of the herbivores, the whisper of leaves as they rustled gently in the wind, and the melodic songs sung by the birds perched in the trees. This harmonious blend of noises focused Vortok's attention on the serene balance of the world, a reassuring melody that provided comfort in his environment.

Vortok, a leader among his herd, kept close watch with unwavering focus — a vigilant protector, cautious of any potential threats. His alert and agile movements were a frighteningly effective warning to potential predators. He was endowed with a near-preternatural understanding of his surroundings, and capable of responding almost instinctively to the smallest sign of danger — the slightest rustle of grass, the faintest shadow, all interpreted accurately by the renowned ruler of the plain. With grace and power, he navigated the landscape with unparalleled finesse.

Vortok was a masterfully crafted herbivorous dinosaur, whose power and prowess were legendary. He strode with a determination rarely seen, and each bite of succulent vegetation was taken with pleasure; a pleasure that was only outdone by his heartfelt commitment to the safety and prosperity of his herd. As the day wore on, he hunted his way through the sprawling expanse of their chosen grasslands, ensuring that both his herd and himself had the nutrition and protection they deserved. With each decisive step and sumptuous bite, he held the harmony of the wilderness and his fellows in equal high regard; one of an unrelenting leader who was ready to take on the day.

Rama

Female Archaeornithomimus || M: None
~
The trees in the distance swaying in the breeze. Oh today was a nice day. The sun was shining it's bright golden aura across the valley, enlightening the beautiful place and shining off the herd's scales with brilliance, and beauty. The grass was short and green, covering the vast valley they grazed in with a nice carpet, covering the cold and dull dirt that they his beneath their blades. One of herd's lowest does, Rama, grazed in the valley, a bit farther from the herd than the normal archaeornithomimus would be.
~
The beautiful sun's rays couldn't even make her scales shine. The herd often looked down on her, mainly because of her dull colors. Some would say she even looks like a pit of mud itself. It was disheartening, and it ached her heart and made her hold herself low. It made her feel low, and useless when others said that. Everyone only judged her by her scales, but no one knew the friendly and welcoming soul this archaeornithomimus had hidden behind her quiet demeanor.
~
The archaeornithomimus kept her head low to the ground as she plucked out a few strands of grass from the ground. The bright sun reflected from her eyes, causing them to slightly glow.
~
The shine of the leader caught her eye, and she angled her eyes at the colorful archaeornithomimus. His brilliance was astonishing, and his confident posture was very noticeable. The leader was at the top of the rankings, so it must feel really good for him. He didn't have to worry much about the hatred from others, as probably everyone greatly loved him and admired him.
~
The doe sighed before looking back towards the grass, pulling a large chunk out of it. The grass was covered in dew and helped keep them hydrated as they munched on their food that was laid across the whole valley. The chewing of the herd nearby was quite noticeable, and loud. She watched the herd munch away at the grass while she had her mouth full of the fresh greens. A flower got her attention and she swallowed her chewed up food and made her way over to it, and plucked it from the ground and swallowed it whole. Then, she turned back to the grass and pulled out a chunk.
~
Then, a bright ray of sunlight collided against her scales. The dull color of them shined a bit from the sunlight, but not much to attract attention from any of the archaeornithomimus'. They still knew her scales were dull, and ugly. Well, Rama didn't think they were ugly, she appreciated them. Without them, her skin underneath would be completely visible, and no one wants that. Personally, she liked her scales. Their dullness makes her unique, but she did wish others would just finally accept that it's only the color of her scales.
~
Today was a beautiful day. One that could make her mouth curve to a smile. Her long arms neatly folded against her chest when she sat down in the grass. Her long legs pressed against her sides. Her tail stretched behind her. Her eyelids covered her amber eyes as she slowly, gently, and neatly rested her cranium against the ground, allowing the grass to poke at her face and scales.

Vortok

Vortok radiated a majestic presence that shone like the warm sunshine illuminating the valley. His jaw-dropping amber stare surveyed the group of grazing theropods. His glittering scales commanded attention in the sun, reflecting every dazzling hue of the grand valley. His every color lauded his prodigal ability to lead the group, imbuing him with an almost palpable air of confidence and governance.

The mouthfuls of grass chomped by the herd filled the air with a symphony of sound, syncopating and commingling with the hues and vista of the encompassing scenery. Every tongue and teeth of the members moved harmoniously like a single unit, in the sheer concentration of this plentiful nutritional banquet bestowed by the land. Vortok observed their masticatory motions with genuine awe, each chew and bite yet another testament to the oneness of nature. Vortok's observant eyes dashed onto a delicate little bloom hidden amidst the lavish greenery while he grazed. Alluringly, its luminous petals fluttered in harmony with the gentle breeze, enticing Vortok to seek a pleasant indulgence. Reaching out, he plucked the flower from its snug abode before consuming it whole, tasting the exquisite flavors crafted by Mother Nature with startling accuracy. Finally, he returned to grazing, enjoying the vast array of tasteful buddings from the natural world.

The sun's glimmering rays embraced Vortok's glittery scales as he spotted a faint gleam that had gone unnoticed by his fellow Archaeornithomimus. While the others were preoccupied with their own various pursuits, Vortok found himself drawn in by the minimal details that only he could see. He admired the understated beauty of his scales, knowing that his look was incomparable to any other in the herd; such subtle magnificence adding to his stature and grandeur.

Vortok felt a renewed sense of joy in the atmosphere of tranquility that enveloped him. His draped legs nestled snugly into his sides, as he reclined gracefully onto the springy turf; his outstretched arms lovingly crossed his bosom. His head effortlessly sank into the warm, welcoming earth, and he felt ineffable contentment as the gentle ripples of the veldt gently massaged his face and scales. A melodic blend of nature's spellbinding music lingered with him, and in its embrace he found serenity.

Vortok basked in the warmth of the sun's golden rays, while the scene around him exuded a tranquil beauty that filled his heart with profound serenity. Though vigilant of his surroundings and primed to anticipate any possible threat to his herd’s serene existence, he sought to savor the peacefulness of the moment. Nevertheless, his acute senses were ever attentive to the most delicate shifts in the air, ready to ward off any danger that might arise.

Rama

Female Archaeornithomimus || M: None
~
The plains was illuminated by rays of the ravishing sunlight rays. The exquisite sun was not soon to lighten a new area, as it had a long day to keep enlightened with it's splendiferous rays of sun. The noctilucous moon was yet to travel to the herd, and bring the night upon them, giving the sun permission to travel to a new land and continue it's never-ending journey around the earth. The two worked together twosomely, and continue their move that they've been doing for centuries upon centuries. The sun has one job; enlightening the area, allowing the herbivores to graze in the vast, colorful grasslands. The moon has one job; dimming the land at night, allowing the carnivores to begin their hunt, and feast upon their freshly caught food.
~
Rama, proceeded to delicately eat her scrumptious food, slowly plucking out each bit of grass until her mouth was entirely full of food, then chewing and swallowing. She kept repeating as she watched the sky and the clouds. She could see the cloulds moving, but it was very very slow... but slightly entertaining. She was incredibly bored, and really wanted go somewhere. She shook herself and twisted her neck towards a chunk of grass. She plucked the chunk out and swallowed, then turned back towards her normal patch. She slowly grabbed another chunk, filling her belly. She still had a while to go before it was full, but it was progress. Then, she reached for another chunk before pausing and flicking her head at the forest in the distance. Hmm... She squinted and didn't see anything, so she just shook her head and reached for another chunk of delicious grass. She turned her head back towards the forest, glaring suspiciously at it. I feel like we're being watched. Eh, I'm just feeling things then. She let out a small coo sound before going back to munching the grass. Then, movement by the forest caught her eye again. It was just a stag taking a stroll. She sighed with relief and returned to her grass when the buck disappeared into the foilage. She ripped a flower from the ground and accidentally dropped it.
~
She began to feel strangely delirious, like she needed to run through the field with powerful, leaping sprints. However, the archaeornithomimus knew better than that, and continued to eat her delectable greens. The twitching of her legs was obvious to those who glanced at her, and it was clear she wanted to bolt through the steppe at her fastest possible sprint she could. The thought of leaping through the area was pleasant to her mind, though she didn't want anyone to think she was weird. Everyone gets a burst of energy here and there. She reminded herself before sighing and continuing to pluck at the flower she dropped from her mouth.

Vortok

Vortok pithily glanced at a dame archaeornithomimus who was elegantly searching for grub nearby. He cautiously kept an eye on her from afar, making sure she was secure without disrupting her intimate contemplation. He gazed upon the vast, cheery meadows that lay ahead, a breathtaking vista that captivated his whole being with its impressive magnificence. The mesmerizing symphony of the fluttering grass, touched by the warm radiance, synchronized perfectly with Vortok's inner self. The splendid range of colors spread out, embellishing the fields with a breathtaking array that appeared to reach as far as his perceptive gaze could see.

The tall trees, with their impressive stature outlined against the far-off horizon, create fleeting shadows on the lush field, elevating the overall magnificence of the view. Vortok was keeping a sharp lookout in all directions, carefully scrutinizing the environment to detect any potential dangers that could threaten the peaceful coexistence of the group. His ability to perceive even the most subtle changes in the surroundings was a clear indication of his steadfast commitment to protecting and caring for them.

When the sun's brilliance touched Vortok's scaly skin, he felt revitalized and a warm energy flowed through his body. His stunning display of colors sparkled as a result, providing a mesmerizing show of creative brilliance from nature. The grandeur of his physical presence reflected the brilliance of the surrounding environment, serving as a lasting testament to his sacred duty as the distinguished head of the group. Vortok remained steadfastly dedicated to the common good, attentively looking after the needs of the group and encouraging a feeling of solidarity. His confident bearing exuded an unwavering aura, imbuing his devoted entourage with an intense feeling of safety and reassurance. Each member of the group had a vital contribution to make by grazing together in perfect harmony with the natural rhythm of the land, displaying their deep connection through their synchronized movements.

Far off in the horizon, the forest acted as a sentinel, with its lush green cover hiding ambiguous mysteries within its embrace of leaves. Vortok's basic instincts were awoken, making him more aware of the potential dangers that could arise from the depths of the forest. He kept a constant lookout around the edges of the forest, his careful, unwavering gaze scanning for any indication of an attack from a predator.

The scent of the soil and the stimulating fragrance of the waving blades of grass blended together to create a mesmerizing melody that engulfed his entire existence. The scene was a harmonious balance of survival, serving as a constant reminder of how predators and their prey coexist through the persistent determination of one and the cautious avoidance of the other.

As Vortok looked over the immense horizon with his amber eyes, a profound feeling of peace and calmness engulfed his soul. The vast meadows served as a safe place, a peaceful retreat where the group could thrive and satisfy their insatiable hunger. He stayed attentive, with a strong sense of duty ingrained in every fiber of his being, making sure that every member of the group could always roam and explore the holy fields with the kind watchfulness of their respected leader. In the midst of a constantly changing scene, Vortok remained steadfast, embodying both powerful strength and insightful wisdom. His imposing figure, mirroring the majestic splendor of his surroundings, acted as a constant symbol of hope and protection for the group. With each precise step and elegant movement.

Rama

Rama contently completed her savory meal, her belly inundated with her nutriments that ricochet from the ground in a seemingly random yet majestic rhythm. Their magnificent blades were quite wonderful nutriments to the striding herbicides archaeornithomimus' are. The trees were serene, only being agitated by the inundation from the heavy winds. Nature was exquisite, as if it was all perfectly molded into an orb of life, and magnificence. The perfectly made rhythm of mother nature was unbelievable. There was even some brilliance, and wonder in the sorrow carnivores wrought upon herbivores, as that will eventually create a new generation for life.
~
The pterodactylus' were squawking a wonderful, and magnificent morning melody she heard every day. It was one that never grew old, and ine that only grew more and more wonderful every day. The doe had always wondered what it must be like to elegantly fly up in the bright sky, without having to worry about being eaten by the carnivorous creatures of the land. They did have to worry about quetzacoatlus', and pteranodons, and tropeognathus, and many more, but they weren't as common as dromaeosaurids, and allosaurids.
~
None of the archaeornithomimus' dared squander from the herd, as they knew the dangers that lie beyond the lead bull's help. Everyone seemed to depend on him to look out for the carnivorous specimens that swash around, waiting to see when the moment was right; to pounce the unsuspecting ones. Rama couldn't imagine how tired the poor archaeornithomimus might feel, even though he looks enlightened with energy. If a carnivore attacked, he probably couldn't do anything either for the unlucky who was grabbed. A kick from an archaeornithomimus barely even harms an utahraptor. Although, if a compy got kicked, they'd be lucky if they survived with all their bones broken.
~
Rama contently settled in the ricochetting grass, allowing it's blades to rebound off her scales. Her hands curled back and went under her chest, and her long hind legs settled next to her sides, pressing closely to them. Her eyelids slowly slid over her eyes as she attempted to slumber through the munching and crunching of her fellow archaeornithomimus' as they dined on their long green delicacies. Her inhaling and exhaling slowed down a bit as she entered a relaxed state. Their munching soon faded out as the archaeornithomimus entered her slumbering mode, and all else was blocked from entering her mind.
