Yeah, I might actually put the forum link on the auction and in my blog, so people can find it easier- I figured having a forum for people to chat about them would be good, you can give them stories easier that way, or talk about breeding them, or whatever! ^^ |

Okay! Also, overall species question, can Bettacats wear accessories? And can they come on to land if they like... wear a bowl of water on their head or something? Lmfao-

Okay- the answer is yes, they can wear accessories. They only ones I don't allow are gem or crystal-like items imbedded into any body parts, as that trait is reserved for Ancient ones alone. As for going on land, a bowl of water on their head won't work, as their gills are on their torso sides, not their neck. They can lift their head out of the water, but not their gills- you'd need a very odd contraption to fix that, and bettacats use magic, not science. Maybe if they have a very smart friend with thumbs? . There are bettacats that can shift to house cat forms to go on land, but they're the Ancient ones, and the Ancient ones' children. Bettacat powers decrease through generations, like any magical traits can, and the power level our your bettacat depends on what generation they are. The wreck of atlantis happened over 1,000 years ago, and have age spans of 50-100 years (With Ancient ones being immortal, and their children living to be 500+) with magical energy helping them live longer lives than a normal house cat. . Any common bettacats are likely somewhere between 10th and 20th generation, maybe 50th if you have a long line of female bettacats that laid egg litters young. |
