(Short Ver.)
Masculine build, muscular, completely flat-chested, tall, handsome, light brown skin, cold gray eyes, short/long black hair with white patches, lots of scars, loves wearing ponchos, normally wears her custom belt-buckle, two rings, an old green bandana, and a black leather hat fitted with an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake skin, preferred weapons are her 1860 Colt Army Revolver and her 1860 Spencer Repeating Rifle.
(Long Ver.)
6’3 and 176 lbs
Lucile has a very masculine build, with more muscle and way less chest than the average woman you’d find walking the streets. She 'disguises' herself as a man often, both to sway the public’s eye and to keep the law off her real identity. She has mostly Venezuelan and Mexican heritage, but her grandfather was French, which is where her name comes from.
She has a very recognizable face, paired with her easy-to-spot black and white hair (caused by Poliosis), and cold gray eyes, she's not someone to be forgotten easily. Large clawed scars tear across her face and forehead, with a similar scar on her chest, and an even bigger one ripping through her hip. Her upper left arm and shoulder have deep burns ingrained in them, that lead into her hip and stop almost halfway across her stomach and back, and her left foot is also burned. There is a slight chunk taken out of her shoulder, and another on her hip, where bullets have grazed her. The only real scar she has from any bullet is on her left leg, where one struck her but didn’t go the whole way through. Any other scars on her littering her light brown skin are more than likely the cause of getting into knife fights.
Luci’s haircut changes a lot, and though she keeps her hair short most of the time, sometimes it is longer. Normally whenever she goes to town she’ll use coffee or black tea to dye the white patches in her hair to make them darker, so she blends in better with crowds. Whenever on robberies she is more likely to wear a wig, to hide her true hair color and keep her appearance constantly changing so the law is always thrown off.
Her clothes vary on what she's doing, but the majority of her shirts are cotton and plaid patterned. Around camp, she’ll normally be seen wearing her old satin shirt, and if it’s cold or snowing she’ll have a poncho on over it. Luci has always had a large collection of outfits, particularly for when she’d go on jobs as a certain person or with a certain backstory. Occasionally she can be seen in a dress, but she is most comfortable in pants and shirts. Her main accessories include her belt, fitted with a scuffed-up custom-made buckle that is a symbol of her ex-gang, showing the outline of a leaping rabbit with the words ‘U.S. Rabbit 1862’ on it, two rings, one gold and one silver, an old pale green bandana, and her hat, made from black leather with an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake skin fitted around it. She always carries a revolver and a rifle with her, her preferred weapons being her 1860 Colt Army Revolver and her 1860 Spencer Repeating Rifle, which were both gifts from an older gentleman riding with Red’s Gang, who had left momentarily to fight in the Civil War, before returning afterward with whatever he could bring back. She’s had both guns for years and is severely protective of them.
Personality:
+ Adaptable, Charming, Optimistic, Shrewd, Venturesome.
~ Casual, Competitive, Deceptive, Irreverent, Stubborn.
- Assertive, Blunt, Crafty, Indulgent, Steely.
Short Ver.
Two-faced, seems respectable + calm + collected, but can be very revenge-hungry + harsh + unforgiving, grudge-holder, hopeless romantic, switches between being relatively quiet + a loner and being very extravagant + talkative + flirtatious, dangerously stubborn + confident sometimes, occasionality a horribly crazy bastard.
Long Ver.
Lucile is strange, in a way that she can be so two-faced some people aren’t able to tell what she's really like. She's an actor, through and through, and keen to use her skills as a means of survival, no matter the cost. Even if it means losing who she really is. On one hand, she’s respectable, calm, collected, and maybe a bit extravagant. Get her riled up though and you’ve never met a crazier bastard. She can be quite revenge-hungry and holds grudges, bad, not believing people can change their ways once they’ve gone down a certain path. Luci can be quite hypocritical, but she's too stubborn to admit when she's going against her own words. She normally seems very self-aware though, so nobody can tell if she knows exactly what she’s saying or not.
Appearance is very important to her, physically and mentally. Physically, Lucile can get so caught up in what she looks like sometimes that it makes her appear self-absorbed, but she tells herself she maintains herself for the people around her, in order to keep up her dashing, pretty-boy act that has kept her alive for so long. Mentally, Lucile is secretly always holding on by a thread, having to deal with seemingly random spouts of aggression, jealousy, and self-loathing. She’s a bit of a mess, and while she’s normally very open about her feelings and past, she’d rather everyone else not know that about her.
When it comes to romance, Lucile has always been a hopeless romantic, though she hates to admit it due to her pride. No matter how much she loves telling stories, discussing her past relationships has never gone too well. She chooses to try and stay hopeful that someday she’ll find somebody to actually care for, who cares for her back, and that they’ll live comfortably together. She seems more drawn to women romantically than men, but she's never cared.
Likes:
Coffee, French cuisine, playing guitar, telling stories, collecting guns, dry open fields, pretty women, goats
Dislikes:
Tea, alligator (as a food), heights, ladders, snowy mountains, being lonely, being not lonely, her own violent habits
Strengths:
Great Actor- Lucile is a liar, a well-taught, charming liar. The first people she had made friends with in Red’s Gang were con artists and she learned everything she could from them. Ruth Russel and Franklin Freeman were both very different in terms of their type of con artistry, but Lucile held on to whatever she could gain. She can be a flirtatious saloon girl, a tired prospector traveling home from Nevada, a confident salesman trying to sell a miracle cure, or whatever else she needs to be to get what she wants.
Physically Strong- Lucile has been building herself up for years, going from a scrawny kid to the hunk she is today. Getting beat and thrown around by a certain gang-mate for as long as she allowed was a good enough motivator for her to start working out, and it paid off. Years of bar fights and mercenary work have given her plenty of experience with hand-to-hand combat too. She loves brawling a lot more than she loves shooting and knows herself as capable.
Understanding- No matter how stubborn and cold Lucile can be, she can care quite a lot. Luci constantly refers to herself as a bad person, and she is, but that has never shied her away from giving genuinely good advice to others, normally in hopes they’ll turn out better than her. Sitting down to get a few drinks or just listening to someone ramble are things she won’t usually say no to.
Weaknesses:
Stubborn- Lucile doesn’t like taking orders and because of this she’ll only listen to specific people. If you are not someone who's been put in charge (and accepted as in charge by her) then she feels no need to listen to what you tell her and she’ll just wander off to do whatever she thinks is best.
Kind of Insane Sometimes- Lucile can be quite… short-fused, in a way, especially when she's drunk. She can seem all friendly and talkative, but a single insult or mention of a topic she doesn’t like speaking of can put her in a bit of a frenzy. Any small mistake, on her part or others, can set her off on a tangent. She can have difficulty suppressing her rage, but she can normally get a grip once she's given some space to think and ramble. Though upon getting riled up enough she might yell, scream, and break things, but the scariest part might be the murderous look that’ll settle into her gaze once she goes quiet again.
Horrible With Animals- She’s never had luck with animals, really at all. Cats and goats are about the only kinds that can stand to be around her. She’s never been good with dogs, or even horses, and wild animals seem to love targeting her especially. She’s been attacked at least once by a cougar, bear, snake, wolves, and whatever the hell else is lurking in the woods (though maybe not entirely accidentally unprovoked). Luci avoids interactions with random animals as much as possible, for fear that one day she’ll finally get mauled to death.

Backstory:
(Short Ver.)
Born March 12, 1848, and raised in Del Lobo, Mexico, by her parents Esperanza Castro and Daniel Mason who had originally moved from Venezuela. At 6 years of age, her family moved from Mexico to The United States where they settled down in the town of Blueberry and started a small farm, though their peace was short-lived. After her father fell in with a group of outlaws and died rotting in a jail cell, 12-year-old Lucile and her mother moved East to the town of PurePoint to live with her grandparents. Within only a few weeks of living there, her mother was shot dead, and Lucile had to live solely with her grandparents, who then moved to Kingsley to escape the O’Connors. By age 14 both of Lucile’s grandparents had succumbed to illnesses and passed away due to their poor living conditions, leaving her alone and having to fend for herself. Leaving her grandparents’ home behind, Lucile tried to find herself a job, hoping to make a living. But rejected, covered head to toe in mud, and left to die in a ditch, Lucile was found and taken in by a gang of outlaws that would soon teach her more than just how to make some money.
Her 13 years in that gang wasn’t exactly a fun time. Even though Red’s Gang was more associated with doing ‘regular’ work such as cattle driving, bounty hunting, being mercenaries, etc, rather than robbing and killing, that didn’t make being in the gang any less ‘gang-like’ or dangerous. People came and went from the gang, some leaving by choice, others by force. Many of them just died. Lucile fought hard, hoping to never give up on the people who took her in. She’d made good friends, even grown to love a boy, but those first few years were filled with bloodshed, and she found out quickly that trust was hard to hand out and respect was something most could hardly afford. Over the years Red’s Gang would affiliate themselves with multiple big business owners located in the city of Menford in order to make money. It would be when Lucile was given a request to help the Hoffmans destroy the Astor family’s company that Lucile would meet the downfall of her stability. The gold ring she wears on her ring finger, her pocket watch, and her torn, yet favored, satin shirt, are all her biggest reminders of what she let herself become. From that point, Lucile had let herself go for a while. Drinking, smoking, hanging around bars with saloon girls, was all she could muster the strength to do. She’d eventually pick herself back up with her gang’s encouragement and support, though occasionally, she’d slip back into old habits.
Ollie and Roxie talk a lot about how much of a bounty Lucile has collected, and when you ask her, she’ll say over $5,000. But if you look at any poster with the name ‘Lucile Mason’ on it, you’ll see something more along the lines of $500 dollars than $5,000. Digging deeper into Lucile’s selection of aliases and disguises though, will uncover the fact that she does in fact have a bounty of over $5,000. The law just doesn’t know she's one person, rather than five. Andres De Santa, Isabella Ortega, Martin Douglas, and Victoria Lee are her other halves, the ones who have given her such a notable reputation. To confuse the law, Lucile becomes what she is not. Victoria Lee for example is a shorter blond woman with a high-pitched voice, who enjoys tea parties with rich boys, and has not a single scar in sight, how could she and Lucile be the same person? Between makeup, simply adjusting the pitch of her voice, using hoop skirts to hide the fact she’s just bending her knees (very uncomfortably so), and having a friend who just happens to be an excellent wig maker, Lucile knows how to make a good disguise.
At age 27, the gang was forced to split up, and while most of the surviving members are now trying to fit in with society, Lucile feels she's too far down the rabbit hole to turn back now.

Backstory:
(Short Ver.)
Born January 27th, 1844, in PurePoint, to his parents Catherine and Vernon O’Connor. Growing up in a wealthy family with 13 siblings, he didn’t get much attention. While his parents focused on the oldest and the youngest of the kids, Ollie was side-lined, mostly by his mother, and spent most of his time with his brothers Aiden and Avery, who were also pushed from their parent’s eyes. While the family seemed happy on the outside, the children of the household knew early on that their mother didn’t seem as “there” as they’d thought. She’d go into fits of rage, smash things throughout the house, and verbally and physically abuse her children and husband. After an event that took the life of his aunt, and almost his father, Ollie and his siblings were forced to live alone with their mother, though Ollie had finally decided enough was enough and ran away from home a few months later at the age of 10. He wandered the snowy forests of PurePoint alone for a few hours before he was stumbled upon by members of Red’s Gang, and taken in. He spent the next 21 years growing up in the gang, learning to read, write, and even speak different languages. Eventually, he took up cartography, wig-making, and tailoring, finding hobbies to keep himself busy and isolated. He didn’t go on many jobs while living in the gang, but he would plan and map out occasional heists and jobs, proving himself useful to those who thought of him as useless.
After the gang split up, he as well as Lucile and Roxie decided it best they continued their lives instead of trying to fit in.

She's kind of got something with this one girl. It's kinda complicated though.
Backstory:
(Short Ver.)
Born April 16, 1851, on Stone Valley Pastures, a farm, a bland, boring farm. That's how she would describe it at least. Young Roxie was rambunctious and had enough energy to put anyone else to shame, but she was also ambitious and longed for more than just a life on a farm, so at age 11 when her brother Leonard ran off and became an outlaw, she secretly followed him. Roxie was strangely revenge-hungry for a young girl, and when her brother hurt her parents, she wasn’t going to let him get away with it. She stole a horse and a shotgun from her home and trailed him all the way to Harmony’s Bank, where she caught him robbing a store and holding a young man and his friends at gunpoint. Roxie made quite the entrance, shooting her brother down the second she stepped into the store, without hesitation. Ollie turned out to be the name of the young man her brother had caught, and after a lie or two, Roxie was able to find out that the man and his friends were in a gang, and Roxie wanted in. She told them she had no parents, nor a home, and after an agreement with the gang leader, Roxie joined.
She was untrustworthy as all hell, but did good working for the gang. A little girl who could shoot a gun as well as she did made it far in the gang quickly, and with a little encouragement from the other women in the gang, Roxie slowly started finding a footing for herself and was growing to be more respectable. She always had a close attachment to Ollie though, no matter how reluctant he was to interact with her at first, but within time they both became close friends.
