So I'm drawing this wolf as my OC for here, but I've only gotten his face markings, eyes, and base color done. I have no idea what else to do... He's meant to be like a pastel goth, kinda skeleton inspired wolf, but I don't do very well with patterns ^^' either ideas on what to add or links to inspiration would help. If you want to see what I've done so far, I can show you. But uh...it's done on a base from DeviantArt and I'm new, so how do I credit it?

You can credit images just by stating the original artist somewhere in your post or on the image itself. Try spots around the eyes (like panda markings) and perhaps stripes on the back? I'm not sure, I don't know what it currently looks like. :'> Edited at March 27, 2020 01:36 PM by p l u t o

Base by @JackLoaded1994 on DeviantArt Here you go, thanks for the help Edit: Hard to see the right eye, but it has a white sclera and it's pastel blue inside Edited at March 27, 2020 03:03 PM by AngelicLupine

I think some back markings would help. For example stripes, spots, some patterns? I would say greyscale markings and perhaps a bit of an unnatural color. Or, you could just give it a white underbelly and tail with there being a sort of fade in pattern for the underbelly? I have no idea if this makes sense but I hope it helps, at least! :'>

Base by @JackLoaded1994 on DeviantArt I finished it and used a few texture brushes, I think it looks pretty cute!

Personally, I think the tail is a little bland compared to the rest of him. The gradient seems off, I'd end it using the splotches / stripes like you've had around his face and on his back. But yeah! He does look pretty cute.
