I see a lot of wolves listed as G2 G3 etc. Is there any benefit to having early Gen wolves? In auction some wolves are listed as g1 but are pups with past lineage. Are this wolves not Gen 1? Thank you in advance ❤️

Generations are a prefrence for many packs. Many packs prefer lower generations because it's easier to keep track of if they like clean lined wolves. Obviously, wolves that have no parents(It will say lone wolf when you check the bloodline) are generation one. And to count them, you start at the beginning and work your way down. Some wolves will have different generations. So, let's say a pup's parents are two different generations. Let's say the mother is a generation five, but the father is a generation one. That still makes the pup generation six.
Hope this helps! Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions! Edited at March 3, 2023 01:24 PM by Dagger Pack
