I'm not sure if someone has made something like this before but I wanted to make something I could link quickly for new players who are confused about the dozens of strange lingo they might see in the chat - such as "HW" and "DH." Thus here is a quick reference list of abbreviations to help you understand the game. If I missed anything please add a reply ! HW = "heavyweight" - wolves that are over 130lbs have extra strength in battle DH = "Divine Health" -these wolves have a special boost that gives them extra health points in battle LF / DF = "light fallow/dark fallow" - this is a special defect that gives wolves a deer-like pelt ExH or ExW = "excellent howler/excellent wrestler" - These wolves have a high rating in their ability to howl or wrestle. This becomes important between the 5-9th of every month, where there is a full moon celebration with howling and wrestling contests. Read more about it in Realm>Games>Full Moon Celebration FMC - "full moon celebration" - see above G1/G2 etc - "generation 1 / generation 2" - This means that the wolf is a low generation. In other words, if you look at their bloodlines, they are only the first/second/third wolf in their bloodline. Users like this because it takes less time to look back through a wolf's bloodlines and check to see if a wolf is inbred (see below) CL or IB - "clean-lined" or "inbred" - This does not have any actual effect on the game, but if a wolf has the same ancestor appearing more than once in its bloodlines, it is considered inbred. Many people prefer clean lined wolves because - well I'm sure you can put two and two together. CHIM - "chimera" - one of the rarest and most popular defects in the game. BD - "birth defect" - wolf was born with a defect. Some will have effects on the wolf's ability to battle while others have no effect. Wolves with a birth defect are more likely to have defect pups, which makes them more valuable. MUSH - "mushrooms" - the main currency of the game "15V" or "+20v" (any number) - This is the wolf's weather vitals, found at the bottom of their wolf page. This is helpful when using explore often, because there will sometimes be random weather events and if your wolf has high vitals, then there is a high chance of getting bonus moves in explore during these events. BOOST - Similar to defects but it usually has a character point bonus or battle bonus. Can be passed down to offspring. Read about boosts in the game guide. CP - "character points" - read more about character points in game guide. They are the gray bars under your wolf that can be filled with up to 200 points. Each one has different effects related to explore or breeding. You get 30 points each day to assign to your wolves. Click on "assign character points" to try it out.
well that's all I can think of for now. I hope this helps somebody and do reply if you have any other abbreviations to add!
