People have been asking for awhile now "what's so grand about Clean lined wolves?" I am here to tell you nothing is different between an inbred, or a clean lined wolf. It's personal opinion, it will not affect your wolf in any way shape, or form. Common Inbred Clean lined Terms CL: Clean Lined IB: In bred CH: Clean Heritage (same thing as CL) What Does a 'Clean' Wolf Look Like? As you can clearly see, the same wolf doesn't show up twice in this wolf's lines. It is a clean wolf. What Does a 'Inbred' Wolf Look Like? As you can see, the same wolf shows up twice in this wolf's bloodline. This makes it an inbred wolf. Any case where the same wolf appears multiple times in a wolf's bloodline makes it inbred. Mix-Ups There are a couple common mix ups that can happen when checking the lines of a wolf. The Names & The Pelts. Pay close attention to the names, it can be tricky. Common IB Wolves Tequila Sunrise(14TX2T) is an inbred wolf It's good to know what wolves are inbred when performing clean line checks with a lot of wolves. If you see a wolf with the name above, the wolf is IB and you can continue on your way. In these days, IB isn't common in studs. Will My Pups be Clean? Mother- Father- They don't have the same wolves in them, so the pups will in fact be clean.
