Vitalis.
Part I: The Basics.
1. What is your full name?
My name's Vitalis Eden. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.
2. Do you have any nicknames? If so, what are they and how did they come about?
I do often go by Val. It just rolls off the tongue more easily.
3. What species are you?
My father is a variation of what mortals call a High Elf, and my mother is a fae. A faerie, that is. I don't know what you'd call.
4. When & where were you born?
I'm not sure on the exact location, but I was born on the fourteenth of February.
5. And this would make you how many years old?
My people don't typically count years. Very trivial.
6. Would you classify yourself as a "good" or "bad" guy?
I suppose by most people's standards, I would be considered the "bad" guy.
Part 2: More In-Depth.
7. How would you describe your personality?
I do have to admit that I have the tendency to be distinctively self-centered, and I wish I could apologize for that but I cannot bring myself to feel sorry for it. I am simply trying to find comfort in a kill-or-be-killed world.
8. Would you say you do well under pressure?
Well, considering that is nearly seventy-five percent of my occupation, I would say yes.
9. Do you like to read?
Absolutely. Great way to make the hours fly.
10. Favorite color?
Warmer colors, mostly. Summer-y themes. I work best with them.
11. Do you get along with others?
Well, my mother taught me basic table manners, so I suppose I'm not entirely too insufferable for company.
12. Do you have any enemies?
I couldn't name anyone off the top of my head, but I suppose everyone becomes an antagonist at some point.
13. How about friends?
I'm afraid I can't afford that sort of attachment.
14. Are you patient?
I have to be.
Part III: Hypothetically. . .
15. Suppose you could become any creature that you know of. What would you become and why?
I suppose a horse isn't exactly the exciting answer you're looking for, but those creatures could do no wrong.
16. One of your enemies (#12) just complimented you. Response?
I'd be flattered. What a doll.
17. One of your friends (#13) just insulted you. Response?
Ah, well, you win some, you lose some.
18. If you could change anything about yourself. . .
I love every piece of myself, and you never change anything about the people you love.
19. About your home. . .
Well, many of the people here are incredibly cynical- it's depressing. If they'd lighten up a little, morning strolls wouldn't be so bad.
Part IV: Getting Personal.
20. What are your parents like?
My mother is a very. . . hard-headed woman. She's quite the stone wall, maternal instinct hasn't exactly softened her up much either, but I love her all the same. I hadn't truly met my father until very recently, but the fact that he's the type of man to abandon his only child in a world where heirs are the most important creatures to ever breathe and only try for a relationship once the hard parts of parenthood are over should say enough about what he's like.
21. Do you have any siblings?
Not that I'm aware of.
22. What's your occupation?
Goodness, I was wondering when you'd ask. We don't have a true name for it, but I suppose it'd be what you would call a. . . hitman? Assassin? Whatever suits your fancy, I guess.
23. Well, do you like it? Your job, that is.
I don't like it, but I don't dislike it. It has gotten me farther in these few years of service than most will ever get in their lifetime, so there is that.
24. Are you seeing/dating anyone?
No. Why, are you interested?
25. Thinking about getting engaged, married, other?
Leave that up to the future.
26. Tell me your biggest secret.
I believe I already have.
27. Your worst fear? You don't have to answer this one, of course.
As much as I wish I could say that I fear nothing, that isn't quite true. Large bodies of water, ones where I can't see the bottom- that's too much for me.
28. Back to lighter stuff. Favorite food?
I can't name anything off the top of my head, but I've developed quite the sweet tooth.
29. Favorite drink?
Mead, for simplicity's sake.
30. Tell me one thing you're proudest of.
Is my hair too conceited of an answer? It took forever to grow out after that odd bastard ran a knife through it.
31. Something embarrassing about you? Don't have to answer this either, don't worry.
I have nothing to be ashamed of. At least, not that I can think of.
32. If you didn't answer question 27 or 31, tell me why.

Part V: Closing.
33. Are you satisfied with your life right now?
I suppose.
34. Anything you feel like you have to do? Bucket-list, major goals, or something you know you need to do immediately.
I want to collect enough wealth to be able to relocate myself and live lavishly on my own for however many years I have left.
35. Any hobbies?
Ah, I've grown fond of. . . "self-care" days. Just taking a while to relax and read a book by firelight. I don't know if that counts, but I do it frequently enough. Keeps a man sane.
36. If you could have one wish granted right now, what would you wish for?
Freedom. My occupation comes with a price.
37. How would you describe that wish? Selfish? Selfless? Trivial? Important? Other?
Would you consider the desire for comfort to be selfish?
38. Do you like change?
I'm afraid I've become rather accustomed to routines.
39. What is your most valued possession that you've ever owned at any point in your life?
I try not to get too attached to material items, but if I had to choose, I'd say my mare. She is my only faithful companion.
40. Anything else you feel like sharing?
Nothing comes to mind. Have a nice day, though.
