Do you want them to be at the camp already, arriving, what time of year? Also, do you want the horses to be able to talk to one another, but the humans not be able to understand?

I'd say have them just arriving. I also feel like a good fall/early winter setting would make for a gorgeous scene. I feel like the horses being able to talk would be good. It could give a little extra spice to it.

Amara held her gaze out the window as her brother drove them towards the camp. They had been going since they were young, both loving the knowlege they gained about the different disaplines for the horses. Amara this year though had a new project. Her mustang was going to be trouble, she knew it. "Alomst there" she heard James say, breaking her from her thoughts. "Great. Hopefully they still have that stallion barn" she replied. With Thunder, he wouldnt be allowed to be near the mares, and that was fine. Nobody wanted unwanted foals. Amara watched as the camp came into view, and they soon parked. Without a word, Amara hopped out of the truck, hurrying to the trailer. The first to be unloaded was Thunder, then Beau, followed by Lightning and Angel. They did their best to keep Thunder and Angel separated as Amara knew her mare was already a pesky one, wanting to cause trouble. Amara lead Thunder towards the stallion barn before James teathered Angel to Beau, leading him and Lightning into the other barn.

Sirii looked around giddily, excited for the camp. It was their first ever camp and she couldn't wait to meet new people. She went with her best friend, Jesse. They had always been close and normally did competitions together, but they had decided to take a little time for themselves. "Look alive, woman. We're here," Jesse said in a jokingly tone. Sirii did indeed seem to get even more excited, and she was the first to roll out of the truck.
Sirii took to the trailer and led Deer out and passed the mellow horse to Jesse. Then she led Luma out, who was much more alive and full of energy. She whinnied, following obediently as the pair headed off towards the stables. Luma absolutely towered over Sirii, and Jesse had always wondered how she managed such a large animal. He liked Deer. Deer was growing more into a mellow middle aged fellow every day, but he still had the spunk that he needed.

Once Amara knew Thunder was settled, which happened quickly, Amara made her way to the other barn just in time for Angel to rear up, pulling away from James who had put Lightning and Beau in their stalls already. Amara jumped out of the way quick enough to not get run over by the mustang mare. Cursing to herself, she hopped on Beau who only had his halter on and started to chase down the run away mare. Amara chased down the mare, nearly reaching the road before James managed to even catch up. The twins managed to turn Angel and get her into a corral and corner her for Amara to grab the lead the mare had dragged along. "You are going to be a stubborn one, arent you" she asked before James shook his head. "You are lucky she didnt run anyone over this time" he grumbled. He had never been fond of Amara getting a mustang, and feared she would hurt herself before the mare was even trained enough to be ridden.
