Welcome to Thysalen
Ashaetha (Kingdom) Geography Ashaetha is a kingdom of the forest, there territory is made of trees, both large, medium, and small trees. It is mainly a flat land, however there are some hills and mountains around. They have no lakes or ponds, however many rivers and streams course throughout the territory providing Ashaetha with plenty of water. The home of the royal family of Ashaetha sits on the edge of the continent at the base of the mountains. Ashaetha sits just north of Khapan along the edge of the continent where a massive long stretch of mountains run along the edge of the continent border of both Ashaetha and Khapan. In the middle of Ashaetha, about ten miles from the castle, is a special meadow called Liekos' Lea which can be translated to Wolves' Meadow. It is a peaceful large clearing that has plenty of grass and flowers, while in the very middle is a massive oak tree that is said to have special powers. It is said that to gain benefit from the special oak tree you must drink from the small pool at the base of the tree. It is called the wolves meadow because all kinds of wolves can be found there, lounging and relaxing, a place of peace between typically warring wolf packs. The weather in Ashaetha is usually pretty content. Summertime is warm and sunny with some wind during the day, and during the night is still pretty warm, rain doesn't fall too much. Fall is cooler and has more clouds and rains more then summer. Winter is cold and has many clouds, all the trees are dead, most of the water is frozen, and it rains a lot. Spring is somewhere between warm and cold as it often changes, and the rain percentage slows down and trees are blooming and water sources are thawing. People Woodland elves live in Ashaetha, and they are typically wind elemental elves. Though they have earth elements there as well. They are typically dark skinned and dark haired, though lighter then dark elves. They have vibrant eye colors. They speak Ayietese as well as the Common Language, Zednic. Animals They have a lot of kinds of wolves, and woodland prey. Like rabbits, squirrels, deers, bears, eagles, birds, butterflies, badgers, etc. There are also wood dragons, which are much smaller then the other species of dragons, as they can fit under the trees of Ashaetha, well the big trees at least. The medium ones are harder for them to fit under, and the small trees are impossible for them to fit under. Civilization Ashaetha is one of the oldest kingdoms of Thysalen, and no one is actually one hundred percent sure of how the kingdom was created. It is assumed that at the beginning, elves came across the land and decided to settle down. And overtime, the land expanded and became known as Ashaetha, and the elves began to build and learn magic and became known as the main kingdom of the wind element. Like most of Thysalen, Ashaetha believes in Qokmar. They often have festivals on the assumed birthday of the gods and each festival is named after the god. Like the Festival of Soul Huntress. They typically eat certain kinds of foods that sort of associate with each god during the festival and they dress up and dance and sing. They play games and just basically worship the god on that day. Technology, Magic & Weapons Ashaetha is a wind based kingdom, however there are a few water and earth elemental elves around, but you are more likely to find wind around. Ashaetha doesn't have too much technology, about the only technology that they have is what controls the gates of the castle. The typical weapon of Ashaetha is axes, that are used both in battle and to cut down trees for wood. Though some elves have swords, most of Ashaetha elves find themselves much better and more confident with an axe in their hand. Economy They typically trade the natural resources found/harvested from the woods. You will often find wood based things. Like shields, carvings, toys, etc. They also have honey and maple which they get from the trees and bees on the trees. They use mainly horses for transportation but also use dragons and for business, Ashaetha is known for their shield making and wood-carving making. They make many things from wood, houses, decoration, carvings, etc. Politics For Ashaetha you have the royal family, Waesnorin, led by King Kailu Waesnorin and Queen Aila Waesnorin and helped by their children, the Prince and Princesses. However the King's word is law, and he has the final say. As for the laws, it is not allowed to steal. Obviously do not murder, start fights, or try to harm someone without good reason. They have a prison(dungeons) which is overseen by one of the royal children(Handpicked by the King). There are also dragon tamers, who tame dragons to fight for the kingdom and/or are used for transportation. Dragons are typically only for the lieutenant’s, generals(Second in commands), captains, and royal family.
Khapan (Kingdom) Geography Khapan is a desert based place where the fire elemental elves fit in best where their fire doesn't really burn anything. Thankfully there are a few good pools of water around that provides the castle and it's villages plenty of water usually year around. The castle of the royal family sits in the middle of the desert with walls that are built high so they can see long ways both ways and the castle is decently hard to ambush. Khapan sits just south of Ashaetha along the edge of the continent where a massive long stretch of mountains run along the edge of the continent border of both Khapan and Ashaetha. Draconem Sanctus is the little bit of land on the far side of Khapan where the dragons of the desert often gather and live, it has a large pool of water and a bunch of massive trees that the dragons nest under. The typical weather in Khapan is dry and somewhat hot, however at night it is cold and dry. After a rain(usually happens about once every other month) pools are filled and the air becomes humid for about three days. Rare gems/stones can also be found deep under the ground of Khapan, which is why there are many mines underneath the surface of Khapan. All four seasons typically stay about the same, obviously it's warmer in summer and spring and colder in fall and winter. Things begin to die in fall, completely die in winter and everything freezes. Things begin to grow back and thaw in spring, and fully grow back and thaw in summer. People The typical elf kind in Khapan are dark elves and fire elemental elves. They are typical dark skinned with dark hair. Or dark skinned with red-like hair or eyes. They speak Klamgesh as well as the Common Language also known as Zednic. Animals Desert and fire dragons are typically found in Khapan in the area nicknamed Draconem Sanctus. Phoenixes are also found in Khapan, just found anywhere around the desert but typically found in trees. There are many desert animals that are used as prey for both the elves and other creatures of the desert. The prey includes desert rabbit, reptiles, amphibians, and much more. Civilization Khapan was formed by a group of nomad elves that had been wandering the world, once settled down they began to hone their magic to the point of fire manipulation which they passed down through generations and eventually they began to have a ruler. The first King and Queen of Khapan were called Ayduin Agarvran and Ithronel Agarvran(Nee Erjeon). Like most of Thysalen, Khapan believes in Qokmar. They often have festivals on the assumed birthday of the gods and each festival is named after the god. Like the Festival of Soul Huntress. They typically eat certain kinds of foods that sort of associate with each god during the festival and they dress up and dance and sing. They play games and just basically worship the god on that day. Technology, Magic & Weapons Khapan is a fire based kingdom, just because of the fact that it is a desert and there isn't much to accidentally catch on fire and set a big fire. However there are a few wind, water, and earth elemental elves around, but you are more likely to find fire around. Khapan doesn't have too much technology, about the only technology that they have is what controls the gates of the castle. The typical weapon of Khapan is swords, long swords that are double-bladed and often dark in color. The weapons are usually given names that have a dark meaning behind them like tragedy or death. Economy They typically trade the pelts of the desert animals that they hunt. Making the pelts into coats, or other clothes. They also sell meat and sometimes dragon body parts when they find the body of a dead dragon. So finding dragon teeth and claws can be very typical in the trade market. They use mainly horses for transportation but sometimes use dragons and for business, Khapan is known for their clothes making and weapon making from the gems and stones they find(More known for weapon making). Politics For Khapan you have the royal family, Agarvran, led by the King and Queen and helped by their children, the Princes and Princesses. While the King and Queen have the final say, they have a High Council led by the eldest royal child and four other elves that are elected by the people of Khapan. As for the laws, it is not allowed to steal. Market cannot open until the sun is fully up.

Lesha-This kingdom is smaller then the other kingdoms, however Lesha has the biggest land, yet much of it is covered by the Maratane Plains. Lesha is grasslands, but unlike Maratane Plains, it has many hills and some small mountains that help fill in the space. Lesha is known mainly for their agriculture exports and they mainly revolve around the Qokamar god, Conall, god of agriculture. They believe in Qokamar and they speak Lerdosa and Zednic. Some scholars have suggested the All-Mother, a goddess of great power and knowledge who is attributed with the creation of life.

The Dragon Warrior"If you're going to stand, stand like a giant." Personal InformationFull NameRuina Amlugol AgarvranMeaning of NameRuina means blazing fireAmlugol means red dragonAgarvran means noble bloodNickname/AliasesRu(Family nickname)Princess(Kingdom)Captain(Army title)Dragon Warrior(Warrior name)Place of BirthKhapan, ThysalenAge1,119(Young for an elf)GenderFemaleSpeciesElfRaceDark ElfReligionQokmarSexual OrientationHeterosexual"The fears we don't face become our limits."Appearance Ruina stands at a good 6'0. She is lean and muscular. However it is clear that she is still a female, and her muscle is well defined only at certain times. Her muscles are well defined when her skin is bare. However when she has clothes on, the only muscle that is clear would be those of her arms. She is dark-skinned almost black, yet somewhat milky . Her face is rounded at the cheeks, however her jaw is somewhat sharp. Her cheeks are not that defined, however her face does not give off a baby-ish appearance at all. In fact, most of the time, she looks very stern.
Her hair is a platinum blonde that is long and wavy. At times she often puts it up in a ponytail or perhaps a bun. Yet, sometimes she will leave it down and on special occasions she will style it and make it look pretty. Her eyes are a striking grey/silver that darken and lighten with her mood. As a solider and warrior, she has her fair share of scars. Though not a lot of them show, she also does not flaunt them, nor does she try to hide them. Ruina likes to wear dark themed colors, mainly black and grey, sometimes adding hints of dark colors. When she is in princess mode, she wears long black dresses. In warrior form she wears black pants and shirts that are light enough to be comfortable while she is wearing her armor. While her armor is light and yet strong enough to protect her. It fits close to her body so it is not lanky, and yet not tight enough to make it hard to move. Her helmet is a black dragon helmet to represent the Khapan royal family symbol with red symbols on it.
Despite Ruina's more manly appearance, it is not hard to tell that she is a female. Though she has that broadness and muscle of a man, she also has the lean, petite, and grace of a female. Her face is mainly smooth, however at certain times, lines will appear on her face and she will seem much older than she is. Already her aura gives off one of a determined and confident person. Her teeth are nearly perfectly straight, and are a pearly white. Despite her more broad build, she is surprisingly quick on her feet. Ruina also has a tattoo on her inner right wrist, which is often covered by a bracelet or a piece of armor. It is a red dragon, crown, and sword all intertwined together. The dragon to signify her family symbol, the color red to signify her element fire, the crown to symbolize her princess rank, and a sword to symbolize her General rank. "Of course I struggle, I just don't quit."PersonalityRuina is a strange elf, having a few different personalities that her family has nicknamed. Ruina has one they have nicknamed, princess. This is Ruina when she is in her role as a princess, helping her older siblings and father keep peace with other kingdoms and among the people. This side of her is kind, loyal, brave, firm, compassionate, and a little bit playful. She loves to play with young elves and animals and she is very much the perfect role for a princess in this personality, exactly how she was raised. The next one is one her family nicknamed the warrior, this is her as the captain of the elven army. Ruina is fierce, strong, firm, harsh yet fair, ambitious, honorable, and stubborn. Ruina trains her soldiers hard everyday and she drills just as hard beside them everyday. Ruina is always there alongside her soldiers fighting in every battle, there is too fight. She is strategic, and intelligent, thinking things through and making sure to try and avoid as many casualties as she can. She is incredibly stubborn and her temper can flare fast.Another one that Ruina has that her family nicknamed is what they call the real Ruina. This is the Ruina that only her family and closest friends know of. It is who she really is. And how much she loves animals, the nature, night time, hanging out with her family, teasing her siblings, playing with young elves and her younger siblings, training, but most of all she loves to hunt and shoot her bow. Oh, and of course ride her horse around, just into the woods, by herself letting her steed have his head and just running until everything blurs."Anger doesn't solve anything. Addressed As: Lord Daeneiros ━─━────༺༻────━─━ Age: Unknown Age (Estimated to be 1120) Gender: Male Pronouns: He/Him Sexuality: Uncertain ━─━────༺༻────━─━ Place of Birth: Unknown Kingdom: Hales Species: Elf Race: Mixed Race Religion: Atheist ━─━────༺༻────━─━ Appearance: credits to 岚岚岚堇 @ neka.cc
Avekas is a man from a noble family, and it shows due to how he carries himself. His aura is full of confidence, dignified, and dominating, causing many to admire such a presence. His aura is said to outmatch the royal family, but it's only a rumor many believe. Avekas has little care for how he or others feel about his presence. Either he's used to his semblance, or his poor social skills make him unaware of how it's making others feel. Avekas had a strange heaviness to them, with severe exhaustion lingering within. That alone made him seem uninterested in anyone or anything, with his gaze lacking emotion. His stride is graceful and daring, a hint that he's been taught well of noble etiquette. Oddly, some women declare they felt drawn to him like a magnetic force was pulling them toward him. Avekas is a tall man, with his height being 6'2 and his weight 210 lbs. He's self-conscious about his stature yet pretends he's unbothered by it, noticing the smaller race of elves tends to fear it. His body is the perfect balance of muscles and swiftness, with the structure of his body an inverted triangle. His muscles are partially visible under his skin, meaning there but hard to see compared to the extremely muscular men. The texture of his skin is soft and free of any bumps, yet scars in various healing stages decorate it. His chest is somewhat broad, and beneath it is a six-pack with no body hair on both. His shoulders are rounded while having curvaceous yet well-trained arms with his veins partly exposed. His back also matches the moderate visibility of his muscles, as it's firm to the touch, but you wouldn't know about it by simply staring. From the hip down to the ankles, his legs are moderately robust. His body has an androgynous appearance, taking the form of both a man and a woman. His build strength lies with physical strength and speed, yet his durability and everything else is average. His face is breathtaking to gaze upon, with his face that of elegance and fearlessness. His cheekbones blend wheel with his cheeks to create a flat surface, yet curve when they hit the jaw while his chin is slightly narrowed. Avekas forehead is at moderate width. Nothing too noticeable about it. His face is gender-neutral, having the beauty that lures the men and the handsomeness that draws in the women. Avekas has an Adam's Apple with his jawline free of facial hair, as he prefers to keep it clean-shaven. His eyes are almond and downturned, with the color of his iris crimson with upward eyebrows above them. His nose is perfectly straight, and his pointed ears are balanced on both sides of his head. The final detail about Avekas is his unique hair which reaches to his mid-back. The pigmentation of it is pitch black but looks like a dark shade of blue. There's a shimmering layer to it that makes light reflect off his hair, making it seem that it's made out of silk. To those that rarely touch his hair, they say it's extremely soft, and you can glide your fingers through without struggle. ━─━────༺༻────━─━ Personality: Submissive | Stoic | Tensed | Resentful | Regretful | Melanonic | Solitary | Reserved | Introvert | Neutral | Honest | Extremely Loyal | Forgiving (If Calm)/Vengeful (Once Snapped) | Athletic | Overprotective | Prone Jealously | Patient | Helpful | Plant Dad | Sweet Tooth | Chaste | Mature | Animal-Lover | Ecologist | Wise | Tolerant | Tidy | Mannerful | Self-Critical | Observant | Balanced Likes: Peacefulness Animals Nature Collecting Plant-Life Gardening Organization/Tidy Rooms Picking Fruits/Vegetables Traveling Manners Being Left Alone Being Early/Arriving On Time Exercising Dislikes: War/Killing People Mess/Clutter Cruelty Politics/Power-Hungry People/Tyrants Gossip/Drama Unwanted Touching/Hugging/Unwanted Attention Drinking Alcohol Social Events Crowds Terrible Food/Low-Quality Foods Waking Up Late/Being Late Flirting/Dating Sudden Movements/Someone Raising Their Hands ━─━────༺༻────━─━ Relationship Status: Single Crush: Nope Exes: Nada ━─━────༺༻────━─━ Kin: Lord Ivorath Daeneiros (Adopted Father) Relationship With Father? "Captain. We're approaching the ocean." Ruina nods at her second in command,"Thank you Castien. How are our soldiers?" Ruina and her second in command, Castien were in the air on the backs of fire dragons. The captains and lieutenants were spread out in a wing formation in the air on their own dragons. While below the soldiers rode forward on battle-bred horses. The Khapan army Command consisted of nine elves. Ruina was the General, Castien was the First Captain, Zaos was the Second Captain. Then the lieutenants in descending rank were: Nindrol, Arilemna, Tiriana, Elas, Rychell, and Syndra.
Castien replies,"They're ready for battle." Ruina nods as she reaches down to mutter something to her dragon, a large muscled male black dragon named Iamuss. The dragon speeds up as does the captains and lieutenants behind her. Ruina raises her voice, the wind carrying it down to the soldiers. "We'll pick up the pace. The ocean is in sight." Castien murmurs,"Will this just be a skirmish?" Ruina shrugs,"We'll see." The soldiers had brought equipment to set up camp, so if it turned into a battle they would be able to retreat and rest if needed.
As the beach came in sight, revealing the territory of Hales, Ruina reaches back and snags her dragon-shaped helmet. She pulls it on snugly, and makes sure her sword and bow were ready. Zaos flies closer,"I think I see the enemies." Ruina's gaze flickers out, focusing on the distance. Sure enough, the princess could see small specks which were growing closer with every mile. Below the soldiers were muttering their prayers to the Gods. Ruina's gaze shifts sideways to Castien,"Let's make a fire, shall we?" Castien grins as he pulls his own helmet on,"Let's."
Ruina calls down,"Pick up the pace!" At the same time the horses below broke into a canter while the dragons above sped up. All nine dragons were close in color, though it really wouldn't have mattered. As like the horses below, the dragons were fitted in black armor with the emblem of Khapan on it. Even the reins were fancy with the emblem on it. All of the armor had been custom made, and it had served it's purpose well so far. Ruina's was a bit different. Iamuss' had the royal family's emblem on it's shoulder, signaling Ruina's higher rank.
Soon the border was no more then ten miles away and the soldiers were in full war mode. Swords were drawn, and bows were knocked. Horses were pounding forward throwing up blood-red sand, while the air above was buffeted by the dragons large wings. Ruina snags her bow, fitting an arrow to it as she prepares to take aim. The captains and lieutenants do the same, all nine bows prepared to fire into the enemy lines. Ruina had trained for battle her whole life, despite many elves' protest and now she had proven her worth time and time again. The young General raises her voice so her soldiers could hear her,"For Khapan." The army below yells a war cry back.
"For Khapan!"

Avekas sits alone in a cave facing the vast ocean, his arms loosely dangling on his knees as he haunches over. The man's crimson eyes shimmered in the dark, his gaze set to the sea where his king's army was prepping for battle. He never bothered to know his fellow army men's names and basic information. There's no point in worrying about it all. They all will perish soon in this battle. Avekas knows it. His orders were different from the others. It's a sickening plan in Avekas's eyes, but it should cripple the army immensely. His fellow soldiers would be facing the enemy head-on in the front lines while he sneaks behind the attacking forces to surprise them. His face remains stoic as he hears the two armies engage in combat, a sigh of relief leaving him. "There's my cue." He murmured, slipping on his raven-shaped helm. Avekas rises to his feet, his cloak of black feathers swishing behind him. He left the cave with quickened steps while his focus was on the battle in front of him. The cape of feathers began to move, outstretching to take the form of wings. Avekas takes off into the skies with haste, soaring speedily to the rival army. When he's close enough, he comes to a halt and hovers in place with his wings beating slowly. He clasps the palm of his hands together, with shadows forming between the connected hands. When he outstretches his hands, a bow made of darkness is formed. He positions the weapon correctly within his grip, then grabs the string with his two fingers and steadily pulls it. An arrow of shadows magically appears on the bowstring, already nocked in place. Avekas kept on pulling until he couldn't anymore, and without hesitation, he released the string. He watches as the arrow glides through the air for a bit before embedding itself into the back of an unsuspecting soldier, killing him instantly. He kept firing shadow arrows into the back of the rivaling army until he was finally noticed. Avekas flies closer to the ground towards the calvary, changing his bow into a greatsword. He ignored the expense of his allies, his attention to the foes he was now facing. Avekas perched on the horse's rump, seeming to surprise the poor horse as it started to sway in its pace. The rider of the horse turned around in surprise, but it was too late for him as Avekas' blade plunged deep into his chest. With him dead, he moved on to the next and the next. Slaughtering the mounted warriors with his sword, but with each kill, his eyes held regret. He sees no pleasure in this-killing his fellow elves due to the greed of royalties. How quick they were to start wars to revive their shattered egos. All of this is a sickening practice. He withholds a sigh-ignoring the smell of the blood of the foes he killed. Losing track of the number of warriors' lives he's taken this far. On his 50th kill, his eyes gazed at the dragons in the sky. The grip on his hilt tightens while blood drips off the black blade. They must be the general and his lieutenants, a bunch of cowards that let their men handle the dirty work while they stay safe. His anger was boiling, his eyes growing brighter as the darkness from within poured from his body, covering him entirely. "I'll kill them all. One by one," he snarled while the burning rage devoured him. His wings grew longer in wingspan and size. He took off to the skies like a raging meteorite. When he reaches the same height as the dragons, Avekas lands on one of the lieutenant's dragons, landing behind the rider. His sword pierced the lietinatunt's body and dangled him over the dragon's side. With one quick hand movement, Avekas flicked him off his weapon without care. Not bothering to watch the lieutenant freefall to his possible death, he was too focused on slashing one of the wings off from the riderless dragon. His head jolts to his next victim, the warrior flying over to the other lieutenant while the dragon he was on starts to descend to crash down bellow and readying to slash at him with his blade. His eyes illuminated through the eyeholes of his helm, locking hard onto his potential victim. He cut of the lieutenant's left arm after the other's failed blocked, and kicked him off the dragon. He runs up to the dragon's and made one swift cut to decapitate it. As the dragon starts to fall, he flew over to the next dragon of another lieutenant. Edited at March 19, 2023 10:45 AM by Tamesis

The elven warriors battle cry didn't echo back to them, but simply faded out as it continued on. Ruina narrows her eyes as the first of the enemies appear, a dragon swooping in causing a few of the horses to balk and giving the rider a perfect opportunity to leap down. Already the enemies were colliding with her own forces. Ruina releases arrow after arrow into the crowd as Issamus flies around, avoiding any attacks but also staying steady. The General noted that all of the other command had already joined the fight on the ground, their dragons fighting from the air. And she slings her bow over her shoulder, giving a quiet command,"Dive."
Isamuss dives towards a somewhat open space, and Ruina leaps off once close enough to the ground. Wind buffets her ears as Isamuss boosts himself upward again. Thwack. Her helmet protects her from the blow as she rolls out the way, kicking out with her feet and knocking the enemy down. The elf was on her feet again in no time, drawing her sword. Then she was on the move, her wicked blade cutting through enemies as she moves. Moving almost like a dancer as she fights. Block, jab, attack. Again and again. Soon she was in a rhythm and was cutting down elves as she went.
Until one enemy caught her by surprise and sunk his sword into her shoulder. Ruina hisses as she lashes out, cutting the elf down, before yanking the sword out of her shoulder. "Isamuss!" She yells out and the large black dragon swoops down, clearing the space with a massive roar. She swings up and Isamuss takes off again, an arrow hitting his armor, before deflecting back down towards the fight. Isamuss hovers above the fight for a moment as Ruina scans it. The blood pouring from her shoulder was hidden by the darkness of her armor. Pretty much the rest of the Command had returned to the sky as well.
Ruina raises her voice, yelling out a command to her soldiers. "Fire!" At once bursts of fire come from all directions, from elves, and from the dragons above. Much of the enemy got scorched, however a lot of the flames were blocked by the waters of the Hales' elves. Ruina remains in the air as her Captains return to the ground. While her lieutenants remain in the air. Ruina was trying to find where her elves needed her the most, her sword dangling in her hand. In the corner of her eye, something catches her attention. "What the...?" But before she could focus on it, a loud cry of help comes from below. Ruina's eyes duck down, towards where about five of her elves were being surrounded and attacked by Hales' elves.
"Dive." Isamuss dives down, swooping low enough to allow Ruina to jump off of him. Ruina lands with a thump, sweeping her sword in an arc motion. The enemies back up a little, especially as blue fire begins to lick up and down the flames. Ruina cuts out, catching two elves with one swipe. They were quick to fall, and Ruina's own elves jump into battle. Regenerated by Ruina's appearance. The Hales elves were quickly cut down, and Ruina's soldiers were able to merge with the bulk of Khapan's army. Suddenly a loud dragon's cry echoes. Ruina's grey eyes flicker upward, watching as one of her lieutenant's tumble down. Quickly followed by her dragon. "Son of a bitch."
"Isamuss!!"
The black dragon was quick to appear, and Ruina swings on board as Isamuss sweeps back into the sky. Ruina watches as another one of her lieutenant's and dragon's fall. Isamuss cuts in front of the flying dark figure. Ruina moving to stand on the back of her dragon. "Dive." She orders the rest of her lieutenant's, who quickly obey, in fear of losing their lives or their dragons. Ruina turns her attention on the dark figure, fury coursing through her. She knew she would lose soldiers, but the way that he had murdered two of her lieutenants and dragons, had incredibly pissed her off. How dare he. And where the hell had he come from? Was that what had caught her eye earlier?
"Burn." At the same time, Isamuss and Ruina releases a powerful blast of fire. Aiming straight at the dark figure, hoping to injury him and ground him. So that he couldn't fly anymore, maybe even capture him, because he looked different from the other Hales elves. Like he was more important, perhaps some specially trained warrior? Ruina intensifies her fire as does Isamuss.

Avekas was intercepted by another dragon rider which made his anger rise. His lips behind his helm thins while his nostrils flared. His eyes only burned brighter, then he hoisted his sword and gripped the handle with both hands. His eyes gazed at the other dragon riders that fleed upon her command, a snort leaving him. "Cowards," he snarled, the grip on his hilt intensified. Avekas focus shuffled to the one in front of him, his eyes drifting steadily from head to toe. From the armor on both rider and dragon, they're high in the ranks. "Hmm," the only words said after a minute of silence, "I can sense your anger." The tone of the masked man's voice was monotone, holding little to no emotion. "It's intoxicating." Was it a compliment? No. It certainly was not. When a blast of fire came his way, he quickly changed his sword into a tower shield. Avekas holds it in front of him with the fire and tower shield connected, knocking him back a little. Luckily, it took most of the impact, but the flames gradually burned the darkness away. That wasn't good. His head tilted downwards to the battlefield to check his army's condition. They weren't doing well-crippling under the pressure of the Khapan army. Avekas huffs, lifting his head back to the general facing him. "I have to finish this quick." His shield grows smaller to medium size, and he holds it firmly in his right hand while the other creates a shortsword. He spreads his wings, the darkness surrounding him seeming to fade as his energy gradually depletes. He had never been in a battle for this long. His only purpose was to land a few heavy blows and leave the rest to the soldiers. This was entirely different. Avekas soars towards the enemy commander, lifting the shield to protect him from future fire blasts. He lifts his sword, preparing for another swing.

Angry? Intoxicating? Hmm, the elf before her seemed odd, but this was no time to worry about that. However, to her disappointment, he was able to conjure a shield, which held against her fire. Lucky, after a little, her fire began to burn down the shield. Good, the quicker she finished this, the quicker she could return to the battle below. Her army was doing well, especially since the dragons had joined the fight on the ground. Their large bodies cause great bodily harm to the enemy. However, the quicker she ended this fight, the better.
Ruina's eyes narrow as the shield grows bigger, a shortsword appearing in his other hand. Ruina and Isamuss' fire fades, they were powerful, but they couldn't hold their fire at that intensity that long. Besides, maybe next time, they could catch him off guard. The darkness around the elf seemed to fade slightly, and Ruina watches the elf closely, ready for anything. As the enemy suddenly moves towards her and her dragon, lifting his sword in aim. "Isamuss!" As she raises her hand, releasing another powerful stream of fire towards the enemy. The black dragon takes a deep breath in, and with a powerful huff, a stream of fire joins Ruina's. The two focus their streams at the enemy.
While with her other hand, Ruina lifts her sword, ready to fight. "Be ready Isamuss." She mutters under her breath. She was not willing to lose her dragon today. Isamuss' wings beat at the air, keeping the two steady in the air. Their flames slowly turning blue as they slowly intensify it, doing their best to slow the enemy down. Though, they were really just trying to down the elf. Get him weak, and perhaps capture him. Put him in the magic depleting cells below the castle. That would be good. However, at least if she didn't manage to capture this elf, it did seem like her army was winning this fight. The dragons using their wings, tails, and fire to take out hoards of enemies at a time.

Avekas grew annoyed at the sudden interruption, his eyes seething with rage the longer he stared at the commander. The grip on his sword intensified, the man's teeth grinding together uncomfortably. He wanted to kill him right here and there, yet his mind was clouded with another feeling: exhaustion. He snorts at himself, disappointed in his condition. Yesterday, he stayed up later than usual to keep an eye around camp, and now, his shadows have been blasted by the dragon's inferno. This wasn't planned, making his mind internally panic about what to do next. He was supposed to kill the dragon riders before they caused further damage, but it was too late. His eyes dart to the battlefield below, noticing his troops struggling and on the verge of collapsing. None of this was planned. They were supposed to make the enemy flee or surrender once their leaders had fallen. Their ideas have backfired on them, with many men dying and losing morale. Still, this was the grim reality of war. A thing that Avekas was trained his whole life to do. His sole purpose. He focused back on the commander, thoroughly examining any weaknesses in their armor and the dragon's vulnerable areas. The closer he got, the more his flying speed started to wain, making him grunt in annoyance. The flames tarnished most of his shadows, and the Sun wasn't helpful too. Avekas closed his eyes, listening to his men's cry grow quieter as many more fell, the victory cheers from the rival army a haunting melody in his ears. "What's the whole point of this? We're losing anyway." His inner, more docile voice replied, surprising the war-hungry side of him. The elf stopped mid-flight, inches from the enemy, his eyes tethered to them, yet they were paying their existence no mind. Avekas felt disgruntled over the thought, yet a part of him knew it was true. His chill mind calmly conversed with his bloodthirsty persona, trying to convince him to surrender or at least flee. His war side didn't take it kindly, being rather argumentive and stubborn about the whole thing. Still, the two debated: whether to retreat or to keep fighting. After what seemed forever, Avekas finally made a decision. He hovered there motionlessly before the weapons in his hands disappeared. Next, his armor faded to nothingness as his energy was depleting, revealing his features to the eyes of the enemy. His orbs of crimson were on them for a split second before gazing at the Sun for a few seconds before shifting his gaze to the battlefield. His face was eerily expressionless despite watching his comrades die. No ounce of remorse lingered in his red hues. Avekas sighed defeatedly, rubbing behind his head, "Such a nuisance. Every single one of you," he grumbled, still having his war instincts kicked in, "but I guess I can do with a surrender." His tone was lighter to sound more polite and mixed with a hint of tiredness while the light in his eyes dimmed. Finally, his wings left his back, but he wasn't too concerned. The elven man closed his eyes as he free-falls head first, going into a deep sleep as his energy was practically gone.
