Dagger's CharacterNameAiyana SpeciesGray wolf AgeThree PackNocturnal Guardians(Formerly) Loner(Currently) RankFuture Alpha(Formerly) Loner(Currently) SexualityHeterosexual AppearanceLine Art CreditsColoring CreditsPersonalityAiyana is a very strange wolf. Aiyana on good days is very sweet, kind, and playful. On those good days(Or actually, nights), she is sweet and loves to play with the pups. She's very generous and willing to help anyone. But on bad nights, Aiyana is withdrawn, grumpy, and on edge. Aiyana's temper rises easily, and she is in no mood to play with pups. But some traits that stick with her no matter what is her loyalty, her stubbornish, and her love for her pack. Aiyana is very loyal to her pack, having been born into it. While she is a very stubborn wolf, once she has her mind set on something. It is very hard to get her to change her mind, if not impossible. While her love for her pack is unrivaled by anything. Strengths-Her ability to manuver through night just as well as most wolves manuver day -Her good fighting skills -Aiyana's speed and stealth -Her black pelt which blends in well with the dark -Loyalty, knowing she never has to fight alone and she will never leave a packmate to fight alone Weaknesses -Stubborness, it almost got her killed a few times and it will probably be the cause of her death one day -Day, while she can manuver day. Aiyana is a night wolf, just like the rest of the pack, and works better at night -Loyalty, she is willing to die for her packmates. There isn't much anything that Aiyana wouldn't do for them, and that could get her killed. -Group fighting, Aiyana can fight just fine one on one and alongside her packmates. But fighting two or more opponents at the same time she struggles with -Guarding, she gets very bored very easily when put on guard watch. Which means her packmates could get snuck up on easily
Likes -Her packmates -Hunting -Running -Playing with the pups -Helping her father run the pack -Sunbathing in the sun(As they usually sleep or sunbath) -Exploring in the darkness of night -Play fighting with her siblings
Dislikes -Day -Rouge wolves -Cold blooded murderers -When her packmates fight and argue -Having to do guard watch(Whenever the Day Guardians are away) -Hunting with others(She hunts best alone) -Heat(She likes the cool wind to blow through her fur) BackstoryAiyana had a pretty normal life, at least for the daughter of the Alpha. Aiyana was raised to be the future Alpha, learning how to fight and hunt while the other pups were off playing. Aiyana didn't mind much, she admired her father and she couldn't wait to become Alpha. FamilyOnyx(Father/Dead) Alaska(Mother/Dead) Pyro(Younger brother/Dead) Bolt(Younger brother/Dead) Shade(Younger brother/Dead) Pandora(Younger sister/Dead) Winter(Younger sister/Dead) OtherN/A Spiritus Lunae's Character Name Aspen Age Just turned 4 Gender Male Pack Whispering Falls Pack Rank Warrior Appearance Aspen is dark grey and a sort of red and brown colour all over. His coat is as dark as the late dawn that comes with the wintertime and his amber eyes have a certain shine to them in the daylight. Being dark in colour gives him a great advantage at night, him therefore much proffering that time to hunt. His sense of hearing and smell make up for his eyes in the dark, however, and he has become an avid tracker using his strengths. His fur has a little bit of pattern, his lower legs only. He has a lighter underbelly, a typical colouring for wolves. Apart from that it is pure grey in colour, dark enough to not be recognized by prey. His pads and nose are black and speckled dark grey and brown. His tail is of an average length, but it is quite fluffy and furry. He is of an above average male height, about 35 inches, slightly larger than some. His length was slightly over average, just 5 feet, but he uses his quite large mass well in battles. His weight is around 100 pounds, so he is much larger than some of the wolves in the pack
Personality Aspen is a very intelligent and worthy wolf. He is eager to prove and impress, and regularly does so. He enjoys the company of his packmates and is definitely an extrovert. He is calm and easy-going, willing and content, not afraid to try new things, and has great respect for his Alpha's. Deep down he is slightly insecure, but he tries to mask that to most wolves, only showing his deepest fears to very few. He loves pups and wants a mate
Extra He is quite a fit dog, his build, despite being large, actually is very well created for stamina, at reasonably high speeds. He prefers to pounce on prey rather than sprint in a full-blown chase. His prime sense is definitely his eyes. His eyesight in itself is sometimes all he needs to hunt. But of course, he has trained his other senses to help him find prey quicker. Fighting is his preference over hunting, especially because of his size, but even he likes a good hunt in the forest. That is his favourite place to hunt. The plains require too much speed, that he doesn't exactly possess. He has stamina, yes, but not speed for short bursts. Another thing that he really enjoys is swimming, nothing to him is better after a hard day of patrols and hunting than a quick dip in the stream nearby. He finds that it cools his mind as well as his body, and definitely calms his mood. He is quite the flirt, and ever the gentleman. He likes hanging out with the females in the pack, especially his sister, Akilina, and her good friends within the pack. His relationship status is still a single pringle, but he has hopes that he will find a mate sometime in the very near future. Likes -Forests -The Pack -Swimming -Ladies -Running -Pups
Dislikes -Hunting in the open -Too much bright light -Feeling insecure
Strengths -Running -Swimming -Stamina -Some hunting -Battles -Positivity
Weaknesses -Insecurity -Sometimes way too hyper -Being alone for too long Affiliations Open
Kin Sister - Akilina Crush Open Mate Open
Offspring None as of yet (wants some) Backstory WIP Edited at April 3, 2022 07:18 PM by Dagger Pack

-Night of Attack- "Has anyone seen Aiyana?" The voices woke the young wolf, stirring her awake as she stretches. Aiyana's maw opening wide in a yawn, revealing sharp canine teeth. Her voice low and sleepy as she calls out,"I'm right here." A sleek head pokes into the den,"Still asleep, are we?" Voice full of amusement, as the young female sits up. "Sorry Mother." The older wolf huffs in amusement,"Come on. Your father is sorting patrols." Aiyana dips her head as she gets up, giving herself a quick groom as her mother retreats from the den. Aiyana gets to her paws, shaking her coat out before slipping out the den.
Emerging in the moon-lit clearing. Their Day Guardians were fast asleep, Aiyana could just barely see the rising and falling flanks of the few Day Guardians they had, hidden in their separate den. As nobody usually messed with the Nocturnal Guardians. So only a small patrol of Day Guardians were needed, for protecting camp then patrolling the territory while the Nocturnal Guardians slept through the day. Aiyana shakes her pelt out again as she trots to join the other Nocturnal's gathered around her father.
"Echo, take Pyro and Archer and go see about those snow rabbits the Day Guardians reported to me." A young dark brown female dips her head, as one of Aiyana's younger brother's and another young male trots after Echo slipping through the entrance. "Aiyana, glad you could join us-" A soft chuckle ripples through the pack, as Aiyana joins her father. "-Why don't you take the apprentices out for some training? I know you like working with them." Aiyana dips her head, with a jerk of her head gesturing the three apprentices after her. Towards a empty space in camp for them to train *********** After a long night, the last patrols slip through the entrance as the sun began to rise. Most all the wolves were already fast asleep, only the Alpha pair, their eldest daughter, and a few others were awake. Echo trots over to the Alpha pair and their eldest daughters. Respectfully dipping her head,"Winter did well today when I took her out hunting. She is showing good potential." Onyx and Alaska exchanges a pleased look, as Aiyana rumbles. "That's good, do you think she is close to doing the Coming of Age test?" Echo hesitates as she thinks, before slowly shaking her head.
"Her hunting is good, but could use some help. While her fighting skills could use a lot more help." Aiyana dips her head,"Of course, let me know whenever Winter is ready." Echo dips her head at the three, before trotting off. Aiyana was getting closer to the age of taking over as Alpha, so her parents were already beginning to step back and give the reins of the pack to Aiyana. But the biggest issues went to the Alpha's. Alaska stands up, her maw opening in a yawn. "It's been a long night, I'm heading off to the den." Onyx dips his head to his mate as she trots off. Aiyana stands up,"I think I'm going to go on to my den as well." Onyx rumbles,"Goodnight."
It felt good to slip into her nest, the den woven tight to prevent any wind or rain slipping through. So it was pretty cozy and warm inside, Aiyana shifts a bit to get more comfortable. As she rests her head on her paws, allowing her eyes to close. It had been a good day, plenty of progress made, and the apprentices were getting closer and closer to the Coming of Age test. With happy thoughts inside her head, the future Alpha drifts off with ease.
It felt like she had just barely fallen asleep, when the alarm was called. Aiyana jerks awake, peering around blearily. It was still day? Aiyana growls as she stumbles out of bed, slipping through her den and coming to a halt in the clearing. Rouges were attacking, the Day Guardians, well half of them were already dead. Probably caught by surprise. The Nocturnal Guardians weren't doing so well either, most sleepy or to tired to fight. Not to mention, the camp was overflowing with rouges.
Aiyana had never seen so many rouges gathered in once place. The pups! Spurred into action, the young female fights her way to the nursery, managing to slip inside. Pulling away as she was almost attacked by one of the mothers, who relaxes slightly as she recognizes Aiyana. "How many are there?" Aiyana replies grimly,"Too many." The young wolf swings her head around, the nursery was the strongest built den to protect the pups. "I'll send as many as I can to protec-" Suddenly Aiyana grew quiet, and the mother flicks an ear. "What is it." Aiyana turns to face the entrance.
"Listen Tundra, do you hear that?" Tundra tips her head confused,"I don't hear anything." Aiyana's lips curl back in a growl,"That's the issue." Tundra's eyes widen. "You don't think.....?" Aiyana sighs,"I don't know." Aiyana glances around,"I'll go check." Tundra steps back, as Aiyana heads towards the entrance. Slipping through it. Finding herself face to face with a rouge, a pure white male covered in blood. Aiyana reels back, her teeth peeling back in a snarl.
"Kill her! Then the mothers and pups!" Aiyana tenses ready to fight, when the rouge was tackled. Aiyana was surprised to find her father standing over the now fallen rouge. "Go! Aiyana! Run!" Suddenly a pain filled howl filled the air, and Aiyana looks over to see her mother fall. Onyx snarls, leaping forward to shove Aiyana,"Go!" Aiyana's paws were moving before she even realized it, as her paws manage to help her escape the rouges as what was left of her pack held off the wolves. She should be fighting with them! But her father told her to leave. Aiyana's head falls as she pushes on, whispering.
"I'm sorry."

Aspen had been awake for hours. Not sleeping had become a common theme in his lifestyle. Instead his mind whirred, but it kept coming back his insane boredom. He wanted to go for a hunt, but honestly, his legs were tired from his two patrols yesterday and he couldn't be bothered. But sometime he had to get up, and upon hearing his sister, Aki’s voice in the camp, he stretched slowly and left his den. “Morning Sis! Get some sleep?” He trotted over to the prey pile and found a small rabbit which he took for himself and a rather fat pigeon which he dropped in front of Aki and Corvus. What a good pair they make, he thought, his mind wandering back to his own single status. His eyes scanned the clearing any other wolves he could talk to. It was clear that his sister wasn't having the best day and he knew to steer clear of her when she was like that. Licking his lips he padded across the clearing to where he saw his Alpha, Breeze sitting beside her mate Navajo. Nodding to them both he sat a small distance from them, beginning to groom himself. His claws sunk into the dusty ground beneath him and he sighed inwardly, almost audible to those around him. Standing up, he told his Alpha's that he was going to hunt, just near the camp, as the prey pile needed filling. They nodded in response and he trotted out of camp, following the familiar path to the Whispering Falls. Edited at April 3, 2022 07:40 PM by Spiritus Lunae

Aiyana ran throughout the rest of the day, by now the young wolf's fur was covered in dried blood. Much of it her fellow packmates, was there any hope that any of them survived? Aiyana continued to push herself, even as she approached the borders of the Guardians territory. There she hesitates, the territory around them were not unclaimed. The territory she was about to enter belonged to the Whispering Falls pack, though the Guardians never really saw any of their wolves. Aiyana then realizes, if she could get help quick enough, perhaps some of the Guardians could be spared!
Aiyana charges forward again, her flanks heaving she could hear the sound of a waterfall nearby. Aiyana presses on, coming to a sudden halt as she comes upon the falls. A scent had hit her, a fresh one. Was a wolf heading towards her? Was the wolf friendly? The hurt and dazed wolf calls out,"Hello?" Aiyana hesitates then continues,"I need help! Please!

"Hello? I need help please!" This was all that Aspen heard. Not recognising the voice, he was wary of going to help, but ploughed along the track nonetheless. He rounded a bend and spied the magnificent waterfalls ahead. He looked around and quickly spotted the wolf in trouble. Her sides were heaving and she was covered in blood, although, from the mixed scents coming off her, he guesses that some of it wasn't hers. He shuddered, before trotting up to the female. "You called for help, what do you need." He chose his words carefully, eyeing the wolf with a slight hint of suspicion. He could smell her scent clearer now, and realised that she must be a Nocturnal Guardian, or definitely a wolf from that mysterious pack. His eyes widened as he heard a very far off yelp and turned back to the female quickly, awaiting instruction.

Relief flooded through Aiyana as a wolf appears, slowly trotting up. "You called for help, what do you need." Aiyana's words came fast,"My name is Aiyana of the Nocturnal Guardians, and my pack--" A far off yelp echos, followed by fainter snarls, and Aiyana winces. Aiyana continues,"--My pack has been attacked by rouges. So many rouges! My father, Onyx, made me leave camp. But I can't leave them to die! Can your pack send help? Please? There are too many rouges! Our Day Guardians are dead and my pack is not use to the day, half of them were slaughtered in their sleep. Pups, elders, queens." Aiyana stares at the wolf in desperation, not longer caring about the blood that drenched her pelt or even her own bleeding wounds that surely needed to be treated before they became infected.

"We must hurry. Otherwise, who knows what will become of your pack." He said, not unkindly. "Can you run?" He asked as he sniffed in the direction of the noises coming from the battle. He broke into a fast paced run, not caring if Aiyana was coming or not. His heart pounded in his chest, but he showed little emotion of just how serious it could be. He howled to the end of the earth and back, running all the while. The howl had many notes and changes, not recognisable to anyone other than his own pack. It was the help howl. Almost immediately a large black wolf, almost as big as Aspen ploughed into the clearing, followed by a small grey she with blue eyes. The male's green eyes looked at Aspen as an equal, and then he thrust his nose forward before running alongside him. "Brother. Long time no see. What were you doi- oh." He had spotted Aiyana behind the two. "Is she a nocturnal guardian?" He asked Aspen, confused. "She sure is." He replied, tongue hanging out as they ran. "Oi, Aiyana, get up here, we need you to show us the way." Aspen called over his shoulder frantically as Cloud, the small female, urged Aiyana on. Aspen hoped against hope that they weren't too late.

Relief exploded in the young wolf as the male agreed to help. "Can you run?" In response, Aiyana shot forward beside the male, keeping pace with him, though it was obvious she moved better and faster in the night. "My wounds are many, but my pack needs me." Came her response as she moved alongside the male. Her ears pin back slightly as the male howls, a strange howl, but she says nothing. Simply running, her paws pounding on the ground as the blood on her pelt dries more and more.
A few seconds later another wolf appears, he was the first male's size, and just a bit bigger then Aiyana. The second male was followed by a small female. Aiyana's natural instinct was to bristle and leave, as a Guardian they did not encounter many other wolves outside their pack. But she forced herself to stay calm. Aiyana ignores the two males as she speeds up, she could hear the battle better now. Well.. It didn't really sound like a battle anymore. Pain flared through Aiyana's heart as she realizes that all may have already been lost. How many were dead? Her father? Her mother? Her siblings? A small whine escapes Aiyana's mouth, everything she had ever known was being ripped out from under her.
Aiyana leads the way, moving easier through the familiar territory. Though she realized that this time when she entered her camp, nothing would be the same. Her father would not be on the rock that overlooked camp, looking proud and noble all together. Her mother would not be at the base of the rock, sorting wolves into patrols and helping keep the pack in order. Her siblings would not be lounging around. The pups would not be playing outside the nursery with their mothers watching. The elders would not be sharing stories or basking. The Day Guardians would not be passed out asleep. Well... At this time the Day Guardians would be awake and everyone else asleep.. But... Still...
Aiyana slows as the camp comes in sight. There was no noise from within the camp now. Aiyana beckons the wolves behind her to follow. Ducking away from the camp, heading for the secret entrance. They would be able to enter camp that way, and if the camp was still flooded with rouges, they would still be hidden and safe as long as the rouges didn't catch scent of them. Aiyana ducks through the small entrance, her heart pounding. It didn't take long to wriggle her way forward so she could clearly see the camp.
Her heart dropped. The rouges were still there, most were piling the bodies of the Guardians. While a group of wolves laid at the base of the rock. Aiyana's teeth bare as she spots the leader of the rouges, the one who had taken her mother's life and who knows how many more. In fact she could see the fallen bodies of her family. Aiyana stumbles backward, ears pinned. All of it... Her family. A growl builds in her throat, and she slinks forward. She was ready to attack, even if she lost her life.
