It depends on who she is with, how she is feeling, and what the topic is Patience Surprisingly Eilika has a lot of patience, having been attempting to sneak out since she was 10 years old. But sometimes her parents know how to push her buttons, and then her patience is very thin. Quirks/Habits Eilika has a subconscious habit of tipping her head sideways, like a dog, whenever she is thinking. While sometimes when she is thinking, and/or deep in thought, she likes to bite her lip. While when Eilika is distracted or staring into space, her leg/heel bounces up and down swiftly without her even realizing it. Likes/Dislikes -Eilika loves animals and nature with a fierce passion. -The Princess likes the night time more then day time -She likes attempting to be normal when her parents are out of sight and/or hearing. -Eilika dislikes how her parents are controlling(Or trying to) everything in her life -She also dislikes being confined into the castle and unable to do anything -Dislikes how she isn't really able to easily make true and nice friends Mental Problems -Anger issues(She has learned to control it, as well as hide it if she is unable to control it) -Trust issues(Because of her parents) -A small case of anxiety(She feels like anyone can and will betray her)

"What do you mean, Prince Brandon and his father sent a marriage proposal?!" The Princess asks, glaring at her father. Kalamandat returns Eilika's glare, his black eyes a great contrast to his daughter's electric blue eyes. Even as they darken dark blue with anger, as the King responds. "I mean, that you have a marriage proposal to-" Eilika cuts her father off, barely noting how some of the guards around them shift uncomfortable with the fight. "To a prince who's kingdom is already allied with us, and not to mention. Prince Brandon is almost 30!" Her mother, always the calmer one, cuts in. "He's 28, Eilika." The Princess swings her angry gaze on Queen Natela,"Almost 29! That's pretty much 30!"
Kalamandat snaps, his temper flaring,"Your duty as Princess commands you marry-" Once again, as Eilika's temper rises to meet her father's,"My duty as Princess commands me to be Queen as your only heir. Prince Brandon is heir of his kingdom, if I marry him I become Queen of his kingdom not mine." A heartless grin crosses the king's face,"So your finally admitting to being future Queen?" Eilkia pratically spats,"Yes. But that doesn't mean I like it!" Kalamandat only heard the yes, ignoring the rest of what Eilkia said.
"Perhaps that would be the normal circumstance, however within the marriage proposal. Prince Brandon offered to merge our kingdom's together and together you could rule the combined kingdom's." Eilkia glares at her father. Hissing,"Listen closely, Father. I will not marry Prince Brandon, and you will not change that fact!" Before Kalamandat could reply, Eilkia had spun and exited the room. Her royal blue dress sweeping behind her as the doors of the room slammed shut behind her. Kalamandat's temper rises again,"That little b-"
"Kal!" A cool small hand clamps down on the king's arm, forcing the king to meet his wife's stormy blue eyes. As Natela's voice soothes the king,"Calm down. She will come around to reason. Not from us, but perhaps from someone else." Kalamandat takes a deep breath, his temper calming. "Yes. Yes, you are right my dear." Before turning to one of his most trusted knight's. "Knight Lycus, as my most trusted knight, I trust you with this job. Please go after my daughter. See if you can convince her otherwises, make sure she stays safe, and do not let her leave the castle walls." Natela nods in agreement, as her fingers slip from her husband's arm.
Little to the King and Queen's knowledge, their daughter had already slipped into the stables swiftly tacked her horse and was fleeing. Hidden by a hood which allowed her to easily flee the castle walls. Eilika hunched over Kit's neck as the stallion's powerful muscles propel him forward towards the town. The Princess wolfdog, Kita, on Kit's heels. The three headed actually towards the forests that lined one side of the town. The Princess looking for an escape.
Hissing under her breath. "How stupid is he to believe I would actually marry some stupid Prince! Especially one who is at least ten years older then me! Combine the kingdoms for all I care, but I will not be the barginning chip!" Thankfully Kit and Kita stayed quiet, one reason being they couldn't talk, another is she was so furious that she would lash out with her words to anybody.
(Sorry it's a bit of a bad starter! Struggled a bit with writer's block!)

(No worries, it's good enough <:)
The sound of the voices bouncing off one another withing the room made Lycus Sander slightly tense. But there he stood next to the King and Queen, listening to them inform their daughter of the arranged marriage that he would assume was set up recently. Or perhaps they were waiting for the right time to tell her, but she didn't seem too happy, and that was made obvious when she would shoot back answers. Now, Lycus would never understand these sort of things. The man grew up rather poor and lived with only his mother and eight other sibling, being the fifth child to come along. His father and Lycus' other siblings would be living somewhere else, his three younger siblings coming from his drunk of a step father.
Royalty was never in Lycus's name.
The man huffed, wondering whether or not to jump in. But he wouldn't, it simply wasn't his place to do such a thing. Lycus shifted his weight when King Kalamandat snapped, Princess Eilkia interrupting her. Lycus would think bad move, but then again, he wasn't the King's daughter and was here to simply serve his job as a protector - a knight. Lycus would grow to be one of the most respected and trusted knights among the kingdom of Ibenate. It was a hard job, but in the end, Lycus would enjoy it.
Lycus stood there, his hidden face under his helmet twitching in the slightest as the man gave a look of concern towards each person within the room. He sighed softly, being subtle with each action he took. Although the situation wouldn't concern him, he knew at some point he would have to deal with something, whether he liked it or not. Lycus listened as King Kalamandat went to call his own daughter a bitch. He narrowed his dark brown eyes. Even Lycus knew not to be so strict on a child, let alone a daughter.
Listening to the two, Lycus watched as Princess Eilika had slipped away. Anger and frustration was obvious within her words from moments ago, but Lycus couldn't necessarily blame her. All he could assume is that the feeling of marrying a man much older than you wasn't the best feeling. He turned his head to the King and Queen, hearing Kalamandat ordering him to go after her. Lycus nodded.
"I shall do my best," his eyes went from the King then to the Queen, "I will be sure to bring her back in one piece," Lycus said, taking his helmet off and holding it against his hip and in his hand. "I will be back as soon as possible," Lycus gave a slight bow to the King and Queen before slipping out the door, making his way outside.
The air had nipped at him, it being a bit colder than he had expected. Some eyes landed upon the older man, making him slightly uncomfortable. Lycus gave quick nods and waves as greetings before beginning to look around. It was obvious the Princess had left already, as once he reached the stables, her own horse was gone. Lycus would tack up a bay horse, mounting it before ordering the gates to be opened and he was on his way.
~~~
"Dammit!" Troy Aslan muttered under his breath as his horse ran off from the hitch. He glared slightly, the townsfolk's eyes landing upon him. He grunted slightly as he began whistling. "C'mon, Nesryn," he huffed, finding his way out of the town, nearing the forest.
A large shadow cast over him, making him look up. Troy was slightly taken aback. A large, intimidating frame was flying over him, and that was until he heard his horse whinnying and running out of the trees, back into town. Troy whistled, but the stubborn mare kept running and for good reason - just in front of him, a humongous dragon landed in front of him. He gasped slightly, quickly reaching for his leather satchel, grabbing a thick, sturdy rope that he would use to keep the dragon grounded - that was what it was made for after all.
He could hear the distant wails of people from the town borders as they spotted the sight. It wasn't everyday you saw a young man taming a wild beast, let alone one this big. The dragon was easily over ten feet tall, even longer. He breathed hard, his eyes narrowing on Troy, and the man would assume that he looked like a tasty treat to that dragon.
Troy would begin by shushing and trying to get the dragon to relax. Using quiet words and shushing him would let the dragon know that Troy was no danger to him. His breathing would become more softer, and he would quit flattering his wings. The dragon's head would lower after about five minutes of doing this.
"Shh," Troy said, approaching him. The dragon's feet moved backwards slightly, unsure of him still. "You can trust me," he said. Troy smiled slightly as he put his hand out, the dragon's head moving forwards to inspect and smell him. His head shot up in some way of disgust, causing Troy to grunt slightly as he wasn't expecting it.
Troy had lowered the rope, allowing the dragon to adjust to him. The dragon would stand there for a while, deciding whether or not to trust Troy. With his jaw clenched, Troy would mutter three words;
"We are one."
The dragon threw his head up yet again, his large and bat-like wings fluttering as he hovered above the ground. That was when Troy would take the thick, large rope again in his hands and began shushing the beast. With his eyes widened, the dragon had landed yet again, some dust flying up from his feet landing and his wings bending to his side.
"We are one."
The dragon's breath had calmed down now, the dragon's head lowered. His entire body would finally lower, laying down and giving a slight bow pose to Troy. Troy chuckled. "Yeah," he said softly. "You're mine now, huh?" He said, approaching the beast and rubbing his hand against his scaly body.
"We are one," Troy muttered again.
Suddenly Kit came to a stop, rearing up and striking at the air. Causing his rider to cling as best she could to the saddle and his mane,"Kit! What's wrong?" Her voice not anger, she never got mad at her animal companions. But the forest was within sight, and something had spooked the powerful stallion. As soon as the stallion's hooves touched the ground, he began to prance around nervous. His tail lifting slightly, and his ears flickering back and forth. Eilkia rubs at the stallion's shoulder, soothing him best she could. "Shhh. It's alright boy."
Slowly the stallion began to calm, but then suddenly he spooked again. Kit throwing his head and skittering back a few paces. While the Princess' wolfdog, Kita was growling and pacing around. Eilkia sighs, what was agitating the two? Finally she got both settled down, and looks up. If she didn't look to her right, and if her animal companions didn't spook. Eilkia would have never seen the looming dragon to the right a good distance away. But the angry Princess had been to caught up in her little spat that she had missed the dragon. Until now.
Even after seeing the dragon tamers and trainers back at the castle with their dragons, Eilkia would never get over the sight of a dragon. She wished she could own her own, but her parents would never allow it. Dragons were magjestic creatures, and powerful too. Eilkia admired them and the way that they could just fly. Fly and escape high above the world, above the chaos, above anything and everything that could bother them. Then she saw a smaller silhoutee, a human. Excitement shot through her, a dragon tamer! Knowing that Kit and Kita trusted her to keep them safe. Eilkia dismounts Kit, and allows Kit and Kita to stand still so they wouldn't wander off. But to her surprise, as Eilkia starts over towards the man who had seemed to tamed the dragon already.
Her two animal companions stayed behind her, though she could tell they were nervous. Causing her to chuckle slightly, finally halting them about 10 feet away, and getting them to stay still as she continues on at least another five more feet. She didn't know what to say, but she just threw out whatever words came to mind. "Your dragon is beautiful." Calling out to the man, wondering if he would even respond. Looking down as she felt Kita's wet nose against her hand. Kit had stayed back, but Kita had come up to stand beside her owner. Causing a small smile to bloosom across Eilkia's face. The Princess loved her animal companions, and staring at the dragon, she forgot about her troubles at the castle. Disgused by a hood, her crown and dresses discarded for some more commonfolk-like. ******* "What if Lycus is unable to get her to agree? If we send word to Prince Brandon and his father that we decline his marriage proposal?" Kalamandat muses, the two King and Queen having retreated to their thrones. Awaiting some kind of news, or something. Natela replies, her voice as calm as always. "My King, Lycus will do what he was commanded. Eilka cannot run from her destiny forever, you realize that." Kalamandat sighs. "Perhaps." Netela simply flashes a small smile, just as a servant enters. Bowing.
"Your Majesty's, word has been sent from the town. A wild dragon has been spotted at the edge of the town." Kalamandat opens his mouth to reply just as another servant appears, bowing to the King and Queen. However hesitates, Natela inclines her head. "What is it?" The second servant responds,"Your Majesty, the threat of the wild dragon is over. Word just got sent that almost as soon as the dragon appeared, a dragon tamer appeared and tamed the beast." The two servants bow, before exiting. Kalmandat muses,"More and more wild dragons have begun to appear. I wonder where they come from." Before the Queen reply, two well dressed men entered the room, capturing the King and Queen's attention.
"King Lucas. Prince Brandon."
Natela greets, as Kalamandat blinks. The two bow before the King and Queen. "King Kalamandat. Queen Natela. We apoligize for just showing up. But we thought perhaps that Princess Eilka would be uncertain about the marriage proposal." Kalamandat narrows his eyes, listening as Prince Brandon takes over. "So I convinced father to travel here, so that Princess Eilka and I could get to know each other. Perhaps I could change her mind." For a minute or two, Kalamandat and Natela said nothing. Then a smile crosses the king's face, the expression on his face hard to decipher.
"Perhaps you could change her mind."
Brandon and Lucas exchange a confused glance, but just as quick as the emotion appeared it disappeared. Natela speaks, covering for her distracted husband. "We appricate the thought. Yes, that would be a great idea. However perhaps not today, Eilka is quite...worked up. She has most likely retreated to her quarters for some rest. So if you would like, we have some guest rooms." Lucas bows. "Thank you for the hospitality, Queen Natela." Kalmandat cuts in, as a servent enters the room. "A servant will show you to your rooms. Dinner will be served soon, and a servant will come retrieve you. Perhaps Eilka will be feeling better enough to come eat dinner." Lucas and Brandon bow again.
Before the two royals of a different kingdom follow the servant to the guest rooms where they would be staying during their time at Ibenate. While Kalmandat and Natela exchange a glance,"This is exactly what Eilka needs." Natela nods,"Perhaps some time with Prince Brandon will change her mind. We need this alliance, and the last thing we need is to offend or make our neighbor kingdom angry." Kalamandat nods,"I agree my Queen. Eilka will marry Prince Brandon even if she doesn't want to. But hopefully she will be more willing to."
Lycus huffed, beginning his way on the path that was beaten into the ground below him. He could see the recent prints of that of a canine and horse, which the knight would assume was the Princesses animals. He sniffled slightly, feeling the hair on his arm stand up as the slight breeze of the wind was suddenly picked up. He groaned in the slightest - Lycus hated cold weather and it wouldn't help with trying to bring Princess Eilkia back home safely.
The man would pull back on the reins as a dark shadow cast over him. His horse neighed and took a few steps back, whipping his head around for a moment. Looking up, above him was that of a dragon - a wild beast that was untouched and would probably never be touched. Lycus shushed his horse, giving reassuring rubs on his muscular neck, soothing him to the best of his ability. Lycus's jaw clenched slightly as the dragon would head for the town.
And that's where the prints he was following led to. Lycus was unsure of whether to go on or not, but he guessed that the Princess was unaware of the dragon at the moment. Or was she even in the town? Lycus huffed before giving a slight kicked in the side to the horse, making the stallion move forwards in a quick trot. Lycus took in the environment, watching as the town came closer into view. Now where would a Princess be hiding?
Lycus quickly hitched his horse, wondering where she could possible be. If she was smart enough, Eilkia was aware that someone would be sent after her. She probably would be hidden in plain sight, right? Blend in with the townsfolk. Lycus nodded to himself as he made a mental note of this, trying to think of something to make this easier on him. The only problem was that he was unsure of where to start. Obviously, he could just look for a canine and a horse, but there was an abundance of those in the town. Lycus huffed, slightly out of frusturation before hearing the gasps and some screams of terror from the townsfolk. Hand on the handle of his sword, Lycus quickly turned in the direction everyone was either running away from or approaching. In the near distance, he could see the outline of that beast he saw moments ago. Landed just outside of town, a threat would lie. Lycus began heading towards it, looking at the people to see if any of them were the Princess. Hopefully at least one of them were, but so far, there was nothing for him to pinpoint that was in fact the Princess - this would be much harder than the older man had anticipated.
~~~
Troy had made a gesture with his hands for the dragon to lay down, and in that case, the beast did. Troy smiled slightly, happy with his work as he took the rope yet again and made it into a loop, which he would gently place over the dragon's head and onto his neck. It appeared to be something of a leash, like one you would put on a dog.
Troy could hear people muttered words - or at least those that were still within the area. He huffed slightly, holding on tightly to the dragon's rope as he heard a voice of a female. "Your dragon is beautiful."
This caused his head to turn in the direction of the girl. He nodded. "Thank you," he replied. He took notice of the canine and the horse she had with her. Those animals look too taken care of to be owned by someone who lived in the town, so Troy assumed that the girl wasn't from around here. She looked about his age, a little younger, but he couldn't really tell due to the hood she was wearing.
"You seem to be the only one brave enough to approach such a beast and a man," Troy stated, his band gently brushing against the dragon as the beast's head rose, taking in the new ownership and companionship of Troy. He looked around for a moment before his attention was on the girl.
"You're not from around here, are you?" Troy finally asked, taking a few steps forwards towards the girl. The dragon breathed a bit hard, his dark eyes narrowed on the people in front of him.

Eilkia bobs her head, her gaze finally returning to the man. Shrugging. "What there to be afraid of? Dragons are creatures of feeling to." Sure the dragon could burn her face off, kill her, or swallow her in one gulp. But truth be told, that didn't scare the Princess. She had never been scared by dragons, but rather fascinated. Eilkia's gaze flickering back to the large dragon, her gaze examining it carefully. She wanted to move closer, touch the dragon, but she dared not to.
"You're not from around here, are you?"
Eilkia's gaze flashes back to the dragon tamer, finding that he had taken a few steps towards her. Her face flushes slightly, and she was glad it was hidden in her hood. She didn't really want to lie, so she avoided a direct answer and answered with another question. "What do you define as around here?" Eilkia shot a glance behind her, recalling that knowing her parents. Kalamandat and Natela had most likely already sent someone after her. Which made her wary.
Whoever they sent would most likely drag her home, and make sure she could never leave again. Eilkia was liking this freedom, and she wasn't willing to give it up so easily. The Princess blue gaze flashes down to Kita, as the wolfdog lays down. Her paws splayed out behind and before her. Tail slowly wagging, while behind her Kit had allowed his head to lower and he was relaxed. Looking like the stallion had fallen asleep. Eilkia's gaze flashes back up to the young man. The words just falling out of her mouth. "How did you know you wanted to become a dragon tamer?"
With those words, the Princess' head was suddenly filled with dreams, fantasies that would never come true. Her being born a commonfolk, and learning about her love of dragons. Then becoming a dragon tamer. Imagine! Riding on the back of such a powerful creature, flying high above the world. In a realm, humans were never really meant to be. Was that it was like to be a dragon tamer? That question too came tumbling of Eilkia's mouth. "What's it like to be a dragon tamer?" Her face goes red,"Sorry, I shouldn't ask so many questions." ****** "My Queen, have you seen Eilkia?" Hope in Kalamandat's voice, as the King hopes that perhaps his daughter had calmed down enough to come join dinner. Natela shakes her head as she takes a seat,"My King, I have not. Nor did I hear anything from her chambers as I passed the hall that holds her chambers. Perhaps she is asleep, or perhaps her and Lycus are talking quietly." Kalamandat sighs, and Natela leans forward to place a comforting hand on her husband's arm. "Be at peace, my love. Eilkia will come around eventually." Kalamandat sighs again,"I hope so."
As Lucas and Brandon enter the dining room, Natela removes her hand from her husband's arm and the two straighten up. "Welcome, Prince Brandon and King Lucas. We hope you will enjoy our food." Brandon and Lucas take their seats, one seat left open for a certain Princess who may or may not join them. Half hopeful, Brandon asks. "Will Eilkia be joining us for dinner?" Kalamandat shakes his head as the dinner begins, servants bringing trays out. "We believe her to be asleep right now."
A frown flickers across Brandon's face, as he bobs his head. "She is not feeling ill is she?" Natela begins to cut her food,"No, I do not believe so. Eilkia has always been a healthy kid, and her immune system is very strong. She does not usually get sick." Brandon begins to cut into his food as well,"That is good." For a minute or two, the dining room lapsed into silence. Until Lucas spoke, directing his words towards Kalamandat. "King Kalamandat, how has Ibenate been doing?" Kalamandat bobs her head,"It has been doing well, dragons have been spotted around, but all have been safely taken care of. Some now even reside among the royal dragon army." While Brandon begins to talk to Natela about Eilkia.
The four royals all having different conversations. Unaware that the Princess of Ibenate was currently barely five feet away from a large recently tamed dragon.

Troy raised a brow. "You'd be surprised. As beautiful as these beasts are," he paused for a moment, approaching the girl and her animal companions slowly, "they're still beasts. Destructive. Harmful. Dangerous." He stated. And yes, Troy would know. He'd know a lot more than what would be expected.
He took a few steps back as she seemed a tad surprised by his approach. The beast behind him inhaled deeply, letting out a noise that sounded like a slight sigh. Troy looked around for a moment. "Within a hundred miles of here is what I mean." Troy stated. Even though a hundred miles was pretty far, it was really only the town and the kingdom in this area. Everything was pretty spread out, or at least what Troy had seen. He obviously wasn't from around here.
He takes notice of the wolfdog. He smiled slightly, tempted to approach it but decided not to. Troy looked up at the girl before seeing a man quickly approaching her. He shook the sight before her voice captures him yet again. "Born and raised. Family business I suppose. Nothing special. It's hard work though, not something you can just pick up in a day. This boy was easy to tame, assuming he had been tempted before. A fully wild and feral dragon can take weeks to even get to trust you." Troy replied.
Lycus quickly approached Princess Eilkia and he quickly came to a halt as he spotted the dragon. He looked towards the younger man and eyed Eilkia, his eyes filled with a slight concern. Her parents were worried for her, and who knew who else. Lycus sighed softly, allowing her to speak to the man with the dragon.
"What's it like? That varies from everyone, sweetheart," Troy said, spotting the man approach closer. He eyed him for a moment, causing Lycus to look at Eilkia.
"Princess Eilkia, we've been - I've been looking all over for you. Your parents are worried sick and you've got the kingdom in a slight panic. We've ought to go back as quick as possible." Lycus spoke towards the young girl.
"Princess Eilkia?" Troy muttered. A royal girl, out here all alone near a wild beast? He remembered hearing something about that being impossible, perhaps banned for a royal to ever near a dragon or some sort of thing that needed to be tamed apart from maybe the wolves. That caused Troy to give a narrow and cold look towards Lycus.
"Knight, she's safe here. I've got this beast under control and she's doing no harm." Troy looked at Eilkia and then back to Lycus, who gave Troy a cocked brow.
"I'm not concerned about the dragon. Personal business." He shot a quick, fake smile towards Troy, which caused the man to back off in the slightest. Or it at least caused Troy to see how this would play out, but after a moment of silence, Troy spoke up yet again.
"Personal business, maybe, but there would be nothing wrong with a blessed royal seeing a dragon for the first time..." his voice trailed off as Lycus' hand reached for the heavy, steel sword that some would say Lycus was too good with.
"I suggest you leave this conversation, young man." Lycus' brown eyes narrowed on Troy, causing his jaw to slightly clench. It wasn't his place to say something so rude or possibly triggering, so he restrained himself from doing so, even if it was a tad too tempting.
Lycus huffed. "Come, now," he said sternly towards the Princess. "And no bullshit," he muttered.
(Bit short, sorry >.<)

Eilkia was quite enchanted by the young man's words. She loved dragons, despite the fact her parents tried to keep her at a respectful distance. But she was standing barely five feet away! Her parents would have a fit! Though she keeps her emotions in check as she responds,"Every creature is dangerous, no matter how beautiful." Her gaze flickers away, as her voice fills with a hidden meaning,"The most beautiful and dangerous creatures of all are humans." Her blue gaze returning to the young man as she watched him take a step back. "Oh, I live somewhere." Keeping vague. Eilkia bobs her head. Musing.
"Family business. I get it...I've....Got to continue my family business." She sighs slightly,"Even though I'd like to become a dragon tamer." She nods, examining the dragon again. Eilkia was filled with the wish she wasn't born into royalty, not the first time those thoughts had crossed her mind. But she couldn't help it, Her parents drove her crazy, and she never got to leave the castle. Though Eilkia noticed that it had happened after her brother died, and her little sister was stillborn. But still, they were way to overprotective! "Kita?"
Came the wondering question as the wolfdog leaps to her paws,"Kit?" Her head swinging towards her head towards her horse, then she found out why. "Lycus." Came the resigned sigh, as Eilkia spins to face the knight. "I assume my father sent you to retrieve me?" Only for her blue eyes to return to the young man as he responds, telling her that being a dragon tamer varies from person to person. Eilkia opens her mouth to respond, just as Lycus cuts in, the words cutting through her and taking away whatever freedom she had managed to gain. "Lycus. I don't want to return home."
"Princess Eilkia?"
Eilkia winces slightly, she kept her identity a secret for a reason. But here come Lycus just sprouting it out to anyone. Only for relief to flash through her as the young man sticks up for her, saying that Eilkia was safe, the dragon was tamed, and she was doing no harm. At the personal business Eilkia bristles,"Personal business for my father! I already told him, no! So you can go home and tell him that I said no!" At the sight of Lycus' hand moving to his sword, Eilkia swiftly steps in.
Her blue eyes flashing with anger, her voice cool and regal,"Keep your sword sheathed, Lycus! You will not draw your sword against this young man." Eilkia had gotten a taste of freedom, and the young Princess wasn't so willing to let it go so swiftly. Eilkia's voice grows regal and steely,"Father can go kiss a wall, I will not bow to his demands, and I will not go home." She gestures around,"I'm not a baby Lycus! I'm eighteen! Almost nineteen. I can take care of myself, and it's not like I just left the castle defenseless!" Eilkia's hand gestures towards Kit's saddle, where a sword sheath could be seen,"Dirge is tucked in the sheath." Eilkia takes a deep breath, before continuing calmer.
"My father only wants what's best for him, what will give him power and more territory. I refuse to be a part of that. I am not going to be his bargaining chip. You can try and drag me home, but I will find my way out, and next time I will not return nor stop. I'll keep going."
(No problem!)
