Shivers ... the most common thing felt in the bones of those who encountered a shifter of the Ravik pack. These beings were part wolf and part human, commonly know in others parts of the world as 'werewolves'. Members of this particular pack don't like this term; a term used to identify beastly beings who lost all sense and control when they shifted. The Ravik pack wolves were different. They could shift at will and retained their sanity and self-control while in their other form, though because they were able to do this and evade the laws of transformation, their shifts were painful. The more experience one got with shifting into their wolf form, the less painful it became, though it never ebbed away completely. The Ravik pack's ferocity and intelligence unimaginable, and they had close to no predators to fear. They were the top of the food chain. Until that wasn't the case any longer.

land overview:
the land that the pack lives on is secluded and about a couple miles from the nearest town. they live in what's called a 'mountain range'. the forests around them are dense and made up of mostly coniferous trees such as firs, pines, redwoods and spruces. the pack's cabin is large and spacious with enough space for the members to live com fortably without feeling claustrophobic. each pack mate has their own room, unless of course they request to share one. the front of the house is facing a slope and a large balcony is situated on the second floor. underneath the overhang of the balcony is an outdoor seating area with chairs, and outdoor couch and a cushioned swing, with a fire pit off to the right. the few cars that the pack owns are kept under a shelter to the left of the cabin and are usually only used to makes trips into town.

Tori O'Connor | Werewolf | Hunter | Mentions: Open, anyone else that is up. Some would say it wouldn't be normal to find the young woman standing in the kitchen working on breakfast for the rest of the pack. Her bright crimson hair was pulled into a loose braid that rested over her left shoulder that was exposed from the oversized jersey t-shirt that she was wearing. Her shirt choice also left it to question if she was wearing shorts underneath it, which she was. Her glasses were skillfully staying upon her nose as she danced to the music that was playing through her headphones. The smell of freshly cooking bacon began to fill the air as she continued happily enjoying her own little peace and quiet for a few moments. Normally she would have gone back to bed or at least be laying on her couch after jogging earlier in the morning but it seemed as though she was going to have an extra spurt of energy for the day. Her phone happily sat next to a steaming cup of hot chocolate, she just can't stand the taste of coffee but doesn't care if others drink it around her. Her bare feet padded around the linolium floor as she worked moving between exchanging cooked bacon and working on the french toast that sat waiting patiently in another pan. One would think watching the woman work that she would either be completely covered in ingredients with a giant mess but that wasn't Tori. She was raised to be pristine and even with her sporadic dancing, managed to keep up with cleaning after herself. Tori leaned against the counter as she picked up her drink and pulled out an earbud, setting it next to her phone as she looked around keen to see if anyone else was up within their home. It felt a little too quiet for the female. Her music pausing and playing some random ringtone pulled the female from her musing as her hues looked towards the screen raising an eyebrow before ignoring the call. "If it is important they will leave a message. Not important won't and I won't call them back." She waited until her music started playing once more before setting her cup down and moving back over to the two pans that were in current use.

☾ Ikaris V. Ravik ☽ "Kari" ⋆ "V" Alpha male ⋆ 25 ⋆ Mentions: Tori
On the cool red oak floor laid Ikaris. The grown man's long black hair out of the bun he normally kept it in, draping across the side of his face with some strands falling in front of his face. Extending one arm the man stirred with a groan. He felt sore. Fighting the urge to laugh at himself, Kari exhaled dramatically and sat himself up, angrily huffing a breath of hot air at the hair in his face before he brushed it back with his hand. Well aware of the bruises that had blossomed on his body, Ikaris lazily dragged himself onto his feet, breathing out one word, "Fuck."
Last night had been an average night for Kari. He had gone to the bar out in town, looking to take his mind off of some things. After a handful of drinks he found himself pressing someone's buttons, practically begging for them to take a swing at him. Needless to say, he got exactly what he had wanted. However, he hadn't really thought that the man's buddy would want to join in on the brawl too. While most of the bruises were scattered across his sides and torso, he had managed to get one on his collarbone and a small bruise on the corner of his lips, right where his scar was. Luckily his lip didn't split open again, but it was certainly irritated.
Shuffling into his bathroom, Ikaris brushed his hair briefly before tossing it up into a messy, sorta neat, bun. Turning the faucet on he put his hands under the warm water, washing away any dry blood on his hands, ignoring the stinging that came from one or two of his knuckles; which had clearly been busted during the fight. Sometimes Ikaris felt bad for getting into fights, mainly for enjoying the adrenaline surge he got from it. The people he provoked normally didn't deserve to have him mosey on over with a cocky grin and some half-ass insult. But, drunk people will be drunk people. He could wink at someone and set them off, it's just how it was there. Last night though, the man he brawled with was someone he had fought before. So it was no wonder why it didn't take much to get him to fight him... and it may explain why he had backup as well.
Slipping on a black v-neck and a pair a dark jeans, Ikaris then walked out of his room. The smell of bacon and french toast immediately filling his nostrils, making him smile to himself. If he had to guess who was up and cooking, it would be the person he's known ever since he was a child, Tori. Wondering if anyone else was up, Ikaris looked around the home as he made his way towards the kitchen. He already knew what to expect when it came to days like these. The pack was far from ignorant, he knew when they knew about his late night festivities. Kari wouldn't bring it up, and most of the time no one else did. And if someone did bring it up? He'd casually shrug it off or just ignore them.
Coming into the kitchen, the first thing Ikaris noticed was Tori standing by the food she was making. Making a direct beeline for the fridge, Kari grabbed one of the glass bottles of cold brew coffee. Thankfully he still had a couple of unsweetened bottles left. Black coffee had always been his favorite, especially if it was dark roast. Twisting the cap off, Ikaris took a drink of it before leaning against the counter, "Morning."

Rowan Draven | Werewolf | Scout | Mentions: Tori, Ikaris Rowan woke up feeling stiff as hell, and not just because of his abnormal height. Yeah, at 17 years old, he was around 6'8" - 6'10", but no one knew his exact height, or where he got such ungodly height from. He groaned, sitting up and running a hand through his copper hair before looking around. Oh, great. He'd fallen asleep by the fire pit. Of course he had. He didn't know how he had fallen asleep there. He'd just gone out on a walk, you know, like he normally does, and now here he was. Honestly, he'd probably just gotten back late and had sat down by the fire pit for a bit before intending to go inside, but had fallen asleep instead. Honestly, his sleep schedule was fucked up enough to have that be a high possibility on the list. He went inside the cabin, the smells telling him that someone was already working on breakfast. He went in to the kitchen, seeing the alpha, Ikaris, and Tori, a hunter already in there. Ikaris to be frank, looked pretty bad from Rowan's perspective. Being a scout, he observed the smallest of things. These being the slightly messy bun of his, hints of dried blood, and some bleeding knuckles. Along with quite a few bruises. "Damn, what'd you do get into a bar fight?" Rowan asked jokingly, getting a water bottle out of the fridge and leaning on the counter. "Oh, morning Tori." he said. He noticed the black coffee in the alpha's hand and made sure to not let his..... disliking of the drink show. He never understood why people liked coffee, much less black coffee. Sure, it gives you a kick, and he'd admitz he drank some just about every day to stay awake. Didn't mean he had to like it. He inhaled once more, and this time smelled the distinct scents of french toast and bacon. His favorites, and his mouth started watering. He was just about always hungry, and would sometimes just come down to the kitchen to grab a snack and take it back to his room. Would he ever admit that he did that? No,definitely not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hope Caddel | Werewolf | Hunter | | Mentions: Ikaris, Tori, Rowan Hope slowly woke up, caught in that in between phase of sleep and awake. That is, until her alarm went off. She blindly flailed her arm until it hit her phone, and she swiped the alarm off. She slowly sat up, trying to get her hair somewhat presentable. She stood up and began to walk.....in what direction, she had no clue. She banged into something, which she figured out later was her closed door, and was now thoroughly awake. She quickly got changed and pulled her cap on, before going downstairs, smelling French toast and bacon. She walked into the kitchen, green eyes still bleary with sleep, just in time to hear Rowan's comment to the alpha. She looked him up and down. "Yeah, Rowan's right, you don't look too good." she said, getting a glass and pouring herself some apple juice. "Morning Tori, morning Rowan." she said, to which the ginger nodded, and then she walked out to the sitting room, feeling it was too crowded in the kitchen to be in there comfortably. She sighed. Honestly, she wasn't a morning person, never had been, never would be. She just woke up early so she wouldn't sleep through the whole day like she normally would, probably. She used to not wake up until the early afternoon until she actually started setting an alarm to keep herself in check. Edited at January 27, 2022 10:23 PM by Lightning Chasers

Raven Samara | Beta | F | 23 | M: Pack in kitchen Raven breathed to a halt outside the cabin, sweat dripping down her chin. The slope was a bear today, after a long run through the dense forest. Her goal this morning was three miles but she started back by two and a half. She ran a hand through her hair before heading inside. From the smell of it, Tori was out making breakfast. Mmm bacon and was that french toast she could smell? Raven breathed it in before heading upstairs. First, shower then breakfast.
Getting to her room, she went to the bathroom to get a shower. Once finished and dressed, she ran a comb through her long black hair. There was no need for a hoodie today so she was dressed in her usual black jeans and a grey t-shirt. Combing her hair back into a ponytail, she went over to her dresser before pulling out her bracelet. She made sure never to get it too wet on purpose. It would probably rust if she gave it the chance. Securing it tightly onto her wrist, she made sure her necklace was on and hidden under her shirt before heading back downstairs.
Raven breezed into the kitchen, noting that Tori stood by the food she was making and Ikaris was standing by the fridge with some of his coffee. Rowan and Hope were getting their own drinks, trying to hide their dislike to coffee. A smile tugged on her face before she looked over her alpha. She sighed before saying quietly, "Have you been fighting? You look terrible." There was no playfulness in her voice until she smirked at him, "I hope they look worse." She grinned before pouring some hot chocolate for herself. "My my, smells good Tori. What did we to deserve french toast and bacon this morning?" Raven teased, giving the girl a smile before going to lounge on one of the kitchen chairs, her eyes sliding back to Ikaris, watching him with her usual alert eyes.
