Fawn // Aurora // Queen // M: Open The morning held a brief chill from the lingering fingers of winter that reached out to claw its way as spring began to pull over the landscape. The warm sunlight was poking its way through the mouth of the cavern, stretching out across the stone floor. The clouds in the distance held very little luck for rain or any sort of shade. The spring would likely be warm at the least.
The queen stretched out along the mossy bed and stepped out into the sunlight with a short noise as she carefully padded to the entrance to watch the sunrise. Her tail curled around her paws while her gaze focused on the land around the pride home. Her nose twitched just slightly, testing the air.
Finally, she lowered her head, drawing her tongue along her brown fur. It was a warm morning, might as well take advantage of it.

Orphaeus // Redagon // Liege // M: Open Golden eyes landed on the mossy wood that held up the second floor of the ruined cottage. The cat finally moved from his silent watch, his tail uncurling as he moved around to finally have some semblance of a meal. The night had been uneventful. Quiet, chilly maybe, but nothing really had happened. The mice squeaked around, mere meals for the day. But nothing of great importance had really occurred. The male flicked one ear idly before he snorted and shook his fur out. As it should be, nothing was there to disrupt the peace.

Puffball|Male|Leige|Aurora|M: Open He wasnt really a morning person. Though, he got up every morning, just to admire the flowers coated with morning dew. As he got up today, he wallowed in the rising temprature, laying down next to the first flower he found, in a sunny-ish spot. The tiny flower looked delicate, with purple petals with little white highlights. He picked the flower carefully, snipping the base with his teeth, then tucked it into his long fur. Then he, like any normal cat, sharpened his claws on the nearest tree, which already had the marks of many embeded in it, and headed back to his den. it couldt hurt to sleep a little longer, could it? (Apologies for sucky post, busy)

Five Blind//Mentions: Orphaeus(Indi) //Redagon// As Five Blind woke up, he felt a pounding headache which made his blue eyes soften. He looked around, but in the darkness of the early hours, all he could see were vague shapes. He shook his head to clear his thoughts and noticed that his pack was still asleep. Taking advantage of the quietness, he scurried out of his comfortable resting place, his thick coat bristling in the cold air. Hunger gnawed at his stomach, and he began to search for food. He sniffed the air, trying to detect any scent of prey or scraps.

Parsley | F | 4.5 Years Old | Redagon Queen | M: Orphaeus (Ind), Five Blind (Ind), The Pride (Ind), Open. . The quiet calls of songbirds filled the ears of the female feline, her pointed ears swiveling forward before her eyes flickered open. She let out a small growl, her long tail flicking over her eyes as a sunbeam shone through the trees around the Redagon Pride's camp. The young female decided - after a few minutes - to stand up and shake herself slightly, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the light of the morning dawn. . The faint pawsteps were heard from around the camp, the pride must have been slowly waking up as well. No matter, Orphaeus and herself could still send out patrols in time to start the day. The night had been quite the pleasant one for Parsley, well, minus the fact of the cool breezes passing through the area, but other than that, she slept like a kit. . The Queen stretched her legs before yawning, her paws stepping from the moss and twig bedding the other felines of the pride had provided for her. She looked around the camp briefly before walking from her more private sleeping quarters, or whatever you'd like to call it. Parsley padded a few steps before sitting down, her long fluffy tail curling around her small paws, her delicate features turning to look around before landing on on Five Blind, one of the Redagon Medics who seemed to be getting comfortable as the Pride stirred. The Queen would need to start putting together the morning patrols as it seems... Edited at February 24, 2024 08:34 PM by Lost Crowns

Erebus|Male|Member |Redagon|M: Open Erebus had had a rough night. The continuos (Lol, i can't spell) horrors of his dream flashed through his mind as he sat up groggily. He looked down at his messy fur and cringed. He prided himself in at least looking decent every day. He reached down and ran his rough tounge through his fur, thinking about this and that, but mostly thinking about his dream. He had been having them for a while now, and while they werent the normal 'falling through air' or 'spiders crawling out of your mouth' dreams, they were terrifying. He hopped up and exited where he was sleeping, crawling over a few peices of rubble before reaching the empty feild that he called home. (They live in the feilds, right?)

Mushroom | Male | Aurora Member | M: Open Mushroom rose stiffly to his paws, balancing precariously on the tree branch as his useless tail twitched back and forth. Sleep had been difficult that night - it seemed that every time he would drop into a light doze, a twig would snap, or a pride member would move and he'd jolt up. He squinted at the sun from his spot up tucked high up in the branches of a pine tree. It was desirable as it provided coverage from enemies below, as well as gave him a vantage point. He would've chosen to sleep a distance from the pride, as it meant if they were attacked he wouldn't be and could provide help if possible, or leave. Unfortunately, the prime sleeping trees grew along the river - that while not fast moving, would still cover sounds of approaching threats. . The male rolled his shoulders and stretched, his ears rotating to every little sound as he did so. He allowed himself a breif moment to luxuriate into the back stretch, even closing his eyes, before he shook out his fur and clawed down the tree. He made a mental note to groom his pelt. He never seemed to have the time nor care for it, but he prickled with a dull sense of shame when he noticed the others' fur, always clean and well licked. His blue eyes lingered pointedly on where Fawn was cleaning, or Puffball's decorated fuzz. . Shaking it off, he focused on rolling around in a particularly rotted pile of leaves leftover from winter. It wouldn't do for something to catch his scent while he searched for food. Glancing down at the brown, rank-smelling streaks marring his pelt, he grimaced. That was why he didn't bother cleaning himself often. He slunk into the shadows, belly rumbling, ears twitching, and eyes darting to every little sound. Puffball|Male|Leige|Aurora|M: Open Puffball had awoken soon later, mostly by the buzzing of a trapped insect in his fur, but also by a slight stinging on his side. He licked it cautiously, before his tounge hit the little purple flower. It looked a little like Ladwort, which makes him itchy, but it was too bright and it wasnt blue like normal Leadwort. After deciding the flower wasnt irritating his skin, he ran his tounge over his fur again, pulling out leaves and many other flowers. After a while he got to the bottom of it, as he had a poiso oak leaf deep in his long fur, near his skin. He pulled it out and walked out of his den. Perhaps a littl soak in the creek would help soothe his skin.

Berry|Male|Member|Aurora|M: Open|All (Ind) Berry streached as he walked out of his den, shivering from the cold air. He yawned, squaring his shoulders and creating his facade for the day. He decides on a neutral look, face mostly blank except for a slight smirk. He sees a few of his fellow pride-mates(?) in the clearing. He paces up to his favorite sunning spot, a tall, dead tree where he can see everyone. "Cat-watching is the best thing for the mornings..." he thought to himself.
