Technically yes, but since he's a HH and I'm not retiring a fairly new boost, he's on a 28 timeout instead

Yea, if a wolf flees then you have to retire them because they "died" in explore if you're playing wolflocke

if a wolf "dies" in wolflocke does that mean they are dead forever?

aaand they are indeed triplets. the labor alert game mail tell you if you got twins/triplets, and if you go to any of their pages, youll see links to other triplets in the info box, bottom of the right column

Just trying out some semi-realistic fur practice

Critiques on lighting, blending, etc. are greatly appreciated. If you have suggestions on how to make it look more realistic, that's also greatly appreciated

So excellent! I love the detail in it all, especially the Black and brown!
Such amazing work!

Some Tips?

1. Shadows
I see you have some of your basic shadows, but also make darker hairs that even go through the light areas to build depth, especially on lighter colors like white and grey. It helps even give a greater realistic look

2. Color
Dont be afraid to add color to your fur strokes! It gives it more realism! If you look at real canines, you'll notice a high variety of colors and shades in a single spot!

I agree with both! For fur, I personally think that the most important thing is edge variation. Have very stark contrast as well, as right now, you have a lot of softer edges.

For color, instead of shading with black and white, try changing your hue variation! For wolves with white fur, try blue-tinted gray, cream, anything. For wolves with cream fur, try shading with a reddish-brown. Of course, these are only like two in a billion examples lol

Another thing I think is important with fur is fur direction. Look at real wolves and see how their fur grows in like ten different directions.

These are only my personal observations on drawing fur. I like what you have going so far, you can do it!

Honestly I have no critique but this is awesome. On a real animal I think the color would be a little more varied though but I under stand you might have not added it because of it being practice.
